Agree on this, I'm a long time Dash holder since there ATH and it didn't move even half of ATH during the bullrun while most of the old project is breaking new ATH again. Most the blockchain is already active like Solana, Harmony, Zilliqa, Tezos, Avalanche and many more that's why old blockchain like Dash and  Litecoin is not getting any attention from investors due to tough competition in this same market industry. I believe they might have a chance to recover again once someone like Elon Musk will hype the project. I'm not losing hope since even Dogecoin and Shiba Inu which is a useless token still having the best hype of there time.

No one would deny that the list of your choice is best. This top project will eventually grow over time if you have enough patience. But you have to understand crypto market runs through trends. Where the trend is most of the money will flow there. So following the trend is also be a good idea. You can put some of your portfolios to where the market is trending. Right now many people think the next trend will be for the web3 project or the project that cross-bridge protocol. I want to mention some of those project names so people can do some research.

But there are also a lot of new promising project including gaming and metaverse project they are now both on fire and can give us a profit in first quarter of the year example are CIFI, ETNA, PYR.

I'm not sure if Metaverse will sustain the next hype and sustain it into the next year's cycle, but everything will still be an opportunity to fill the drawer.  Defi will still be hot and the new trend of web 3 like Dot, Bat, Theta, FIL, KSM, HNT will be good choices to catch the next pumps at 2022

Why haven't you put avalanche on the list? This is one of the best L1 currently available now that has considerable gas fee out there. Yes it may sound new compare to those on your top list but having a wide ecosystem that has immensely grow in a short period of time could be a next game changer. I know this cause I shifted to trading on avax than ethereum. Of course my reason is due to gas fee, but compared to usabilty I can vouch for avax as fast and reliable chain for conductign activity such as nft, or basic trading.

I agree what you said about Cardano. Cardano, Polkadot and Avalanche could end up like Tron, Neo and Eos of 2017. Proof of stake coins that got pushed up by hype.

i prefer to hold btc than altcoins, like ripple, kardano, Dash and the like, because they are not top coins and not necessarily their project gives real profit, bitcoin is the only one we can rely on till date and it is proven and promising

CAKE still looks consistent even though the market is moving badly at the moment. maybe because the very strong staking keeps the holder going. if there is an attractive staking program, of course, the holder will prefer to hold it than to sell it.

I am preparing with BNB next year. I keep increasing my BNB load for the long term. not just next year, I plan for 2 more years I will see BNB get a better price.

Cardano, Polkadot and Avalanche are not coins that live with hype like memecoins that have been trending this year, these three coins are coins that live with genuine volume so that they can present very strong fundamentals in the market

I would say only few of the coins that you have mentioned here is good for investing for long term. I am talking about Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano and probably Litecoin. The rest I wouldn't invest at all or hold them for long. Ripple is currently facing some legal issue. Not sure if those lawsuit has been settled or not. Binance network is a lot centralized and controlled by  the largest exchange(though they keep on claiming that they are decentralized). DASH is somewhat dead I think (but the price keeps on going up..).
Anyway, you should state why you think those coins are good for investment. Just giving description of those coins isn't convincing enough.

if you say long-term coins, for 2022 in the form of investments, for me of the seven coins you mention, for me only three are worth considering long-term.
.dash, Ripple and Cardano, others can be investments over time.

Of course my first choice will fall on Bitcoin because Bitoin is very suitable to be used as an investment in crypto. As the king of coins in cryptocurrency as well as the first coin in cryptocurrency Bitcoin has a strong place and does not easily collapse or just disappear like some altcoins that have now disappeared. Bitcoin has a good performance and continues to grow over time, the proof is that until now Bitcoin is still around and still maintains its position as the best coin in crypto.

I think, Only Bitcoin, Lite Coin and Binance Coin are suitable as long term investments.

I am not really sure about Litecoin, but I think binance coin is a good option to consider right now. Same thing with Bitcoin, ethereum, and Cardano. One that I am not really going to miss is that Binance coin, apart from Bitcoin, BNB another coin that I am really considering to hold for a long term.

I’ve already invested in it. It is the 2nd cryptocurrency that I have invested more in, while Bitcoin has the most of my investment. then it is followed by Ethereum , and then Cardano. I sold my Litecoin a long time, and I’m still here to decide on whether I should invest in it for now or maybe just leave it. But if I should see any sign that shows that there would be a growth in the Litecoin market, then I might invest in it.

These three in particular are all terrible choices and best avoided imo. LTC and DASH have lost BTC value in 2021, so are likely to continue losing value, while XRP remains in a long-term downtrend since 2017, so this should tell you enough. More specifically, XRP used to be at no.3, Litecoin top 5 and Dash Top 10 (if not higher during it's earlier days). More relevantly this list appears to be created by an entity looking to shill a particular shitcoin, that doesn't fit with other higher ranking coins, as well as from 2017, given that Ripple is a company not a currency, as was renamed to XRP.

I agree that Litecoin does not look like a very promising investing. I see Litecoin as already a "played card". It has already gained popularity, hype and a huge price growth. No doubt, investing in Litecoin will bring profit, but in my opinion, it will less compared to investing in other altcoin. As a proof of my though, I operate with historical fact. Litecoin ATH was achieved in March 2021. A lot of altcoins updated their ATH in November 2021, together with Bitcoin. But Litecoin did not update it. It was not even close to it. It managed to get only a 65% of its historical highest price.

i think people have some famous coin in wallet, they just want to make a big profit from different coin.
last year i join in some ico, as bounty hunter. paid some coin and never see my wallet after know that the coin is trash. one year passed and i really regret to ignore that coin, because it have good price around few month ago.

bitcoin and all the altcoins you mention are excellent choices for long term investments, they all have very large communities and have very large daily exchanges. but personally I currently prefer BNB for long term investment because BNB is backed by the biggest exchange which is Binance.
