PM Narendra Modi's Twitter account was hacked for a brief period a few days back. The hacker posted a scam message which I have posted below. Now my question is how secure is twitter? This is not the first time something like this has happened and it seems Twitter has now become the best place for Bitcoin scammers.

Do you think such an issue will increase the chance of a more robust and strict law apart from the bill that is planned to be presented in this session of Parliament?

Narendra Modi is the 15th PM he is also the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, of course he has assistants and subordinates who manage all issues in his position, I think Narendra Modi's Twitter hack thing, has been verified as I quoted on AFP.

Quote
Citing AFP, in a tweet that has since been deleted, the hacker stated that the Indian government has officially purchased 500 bitcoins and distributed them among the people of the country.

Now Indians know the truth from Narendra Modi's Twitter story.

Mehkhane se sharab se saaki se jam se is the main reason of this hack. (Bloody hell i love all sharabi songs despite being a non-alcoholic individual irl, except couple of times in my life)

I wish if Modi tweeting the almost similar thingy in near future. Expecting too much i know.

His Twitter account was briefly hacked. I believe it took twitter less than 7 minutes to restore his account and also remove the tweet. So a lot of people wouldn't have noticed this tweet unless media houses published their reports on it.

This is really bad. Whoever has done it, is not a supporter of cryptocurrency to be honest. Because such kind of heinous act actually brings down the reputation of Indian crypto community in front of the government. That shouldn't have happened!

It was not really hacked, someone just got access to account password somehow, it was simple matter of weak password or leaked password as I am sure the account is managed by PM PR team. Probably someone in team is holding lot of crypto .. ;-)

Scammers have no motive except taking money, don't think there is any personal agenda in these.

A scam is a Scam, whoever did this wants the Indian crypto community to suffer. It is a possibility that someone from the Priminister PR team might have done it but, why? As per my understanding, it is also handled by the ruling parties IT cell

Why I do not believe that it is an internal doing is that this is not the first time that hackers were able to gain access to celebrity Twitter handles and this might be another instance.

Whatever happened this incident might hit back the Indian crypto community.
