I checked on the domain registrar of one casino that's recently posted in the gambling section and was surprised that the domain name was registered in a beta phase domain registrar.

My question now will you trust a casino that's registered in a not popular and stable domain registrar or on a new Webhosting that is still establishing their business, for me, it's quite risky you could lose your money if the domain and Webhosting cannot guaranty their uptime some web hosting is just reseller of popular Webhosting like Namecheap or Bluehost if something happens to the reseller you lose your business, casinos are investment business that should be hosted in a stable domain registrar and WebHost.

A cheap and reseller hosting is indeed a big security flag. Also they are not fast enough as compared to the likes of AWS or GCloud. But I don't think these big cloud infrastructure providers accept casino website anyway. So the casino websites usually use VPS hosting for scaling their web operations.

Having a cheap and new hosting provider is a risk for sure. But if the casino management is determined to stay true to their commitment, these can be omitted.

I think that is because popular Webhosting does not allow gambling or porn or other things are written on their TOS, so the casino can only use the unpopular domain and Webhosting. But if they can spend more money, they can get a web host that has reputations to give them trust to their members. Maybe if the casino has a reputation, they will make sure the Webhosting runs 24/7 without stopping unless the Webhosting has maintenance but maybe the casino will have an exception for that. Maybe the casino can upgrade their hosting package to a better package so their casino will not have a problem.

Hmmm, not really I guess? I do look at the site and see whether they're new or not, all new casinos are typically red flags for me so I never dare to even visit their casinos. I mostly take the safe path, so I just go to casinos with good reputations as well as been made for at least a year or two? Though I guess seeing even an old casino with cheap hosting would make me think twice again before trying them out. After all, if it lasted a year already, even if they started cheap, they should've made enough profit to improve their current state. If that were to happen then that's probably another red flag.

But I wouldn't deposit any amount on that casino if they're still in a testing phase and don't have a domain that's stable. Trusting in any casino takes time and we have our factors to check on.

If the one you have is about picking about its registrar and domain, that could be a little factor for the others. Still it ends up that only trust a reputable casino.

I think I wouldn't even bother to. There are lot of reputable casino out there that has better domain registrar and risking your money on a casino that's still establishing it's site and register on a domain registrar that's still in beta phase is a NO in my opinion. That simple as it is.

Uptime should be a top priority if you're starting out a gambling business, yes, they're may be new but I think if you're into a casino business then expect some serious allocation of expenses even on web hosting.

I agree with you. This will also reflect their commitment in delivering not just good but a secured service to their players, right? Personally, I wouldn’t bother to play in a casino like that, under such circumstances. Also, I believe it would be safer to wait and see when things are stabilized and somehow show assurance that it is a secure gaming environment. That's a red flag in my opinion because casino starting with such poor services usually refers they don't have any idea how casino works, how to manage the security of casino. I would only sum up that such casino owner is only here to scam your big deposit. Once they get a good amount of deposit, they will scam you. It's better not to use such site. This is something we overlooked, we are comfortable playing until we experienced some lag because the host cannot keep up with the bandwidth and the many maintenances will make us lose our motivation to play, and worse when there is downtime we are left wondering if the casino scam us, we can save all the worry by checking the domain and on what hosting it is hosted, Namecheap, Bluehost Godaddy are some of the well-established host and domain registrar, if it's not hosted there check if the host is equal to what these established hosts are giving.

If I am being honest about this I never even gave it a second thought, it is just one of those things I never bothered checking but now that you mention it does seems as something that is worth looking for, however it is also important to remember that when a casino is starting out they may try to save on some costs and web-hosting could be one of them, but then the owner of the casino may decide to improve it as the casino gets more popular, so while it is an interesting factor to look for, it is not everything.

Honestly having a license is truly important. We are not just talking about Gambling any more, we are talking about rules and regulations, the KYC and a whole lot of stuff therefore at the end of the day I would not trust the casino. All varies with the intent even though they have been using some cheap hosting provider but did give out their best service despite of that then its considerable.
It cant be known until its proven out but i do agree into the points that it is quite risky if you do ask me and its up to someones personal choice
whether they do risk out on playing on it or would find into those much better option we do have in the market.

It's definitely a good idea if you're researching to the level of the domain registrar and hosting, so kudos for that. It's not always a good thing to have your domain with a big registrar like Godaddy or Name.com, because this can slice both ways, generally you'd be safer with these bigger brands but they might also have more restrictive terms & conditions which prohibit domains actively being used in certain ways. They might also be much more eager to hand over a domain or suspend it if anyone can put a legal case together against a casino operator for any reason. I've never looked into the hosting side, but it's worth remembering that you can have a DDOS defense in place like Cloudflare that could mitigate certain types of attacks that might take down low level hosting providers.
