What's your reason for buying altcoins?

Exactly, I believe even though I don't know if there are Altcoins that can do what Bitcoin has done from its creation till now in terms of percentage gains, I do however believe that there are good Alts you can invest in that can still make you good profits from staking to launchpads

For good Altcoins, it is clear that there are and I also always choose the best according to my personal analysis for now so there is no need to rely on advice from many people if it is only to choose Altcoins, because the target goal is also very clear, namely a decent profit.

Bitcoin is unique in some ways but alts can do something what bitcoin cannot do and there are things too that alts did what bitcoin already did and one of it is the percentage gains although some wont notice it easily because they are too focused on the high price of bitcoin.

It is up to you if you follow your own instincts because you think you are better than anyone else but there are people that they think they are not good enough so they seek for advices and often follow people that have an experience in this field. All of us want to earn decent and I do not think the person that recommends you an alt will deceive you and recommend you an altcoins that perform poorly unless if he is a scammer and he is only shilling his coins.

There is no denying that most of us buy altcoins to invest in order to make money or make a lot of money, also utilities are also part of the interest, but it is unlikely that the future will have many altcoins  go with bitcoin or bitcoin defi as i know SOV or TBdex like Jack Dorsey's concept - and i'm probably waiting for it as a next level altcoin.  But for now, I'm surprised and amused by the metaverse

A lot of lesser known altcoins have very few people participating in them and thus either has most people buying or most people selling. That is actually how you see those rapid crazy 100% gain and 100% loss charts: if everyone is buying...of course the price goes up.

Variations in buying coins are always in the market so that everyone who buys it always happens at different times and also on different coins so it is not easy to increase the price in the market because now the choice of coins is increasing and everyone is not buying at the same time.

For me the best option to buy coins is simple, if I know that everything will go in the direction of the metaverses, because the best coins and the fastest investment and I think it will be in the medium and long term are the metaverses, this can trigger projects of all kinds, even for NFT games, it also represents a great opportunity, because investing in a token from the metaverse and specifically in an NFT game that manages to be safe, I think it will be the best investment, however, everything represents a risk and depends on those who they want to assume.

The reason why I buy altcoins is simple - the probability that their value would multiply is higher compared to Bitcoin. Any altcoin can do x2 in a very short period of time under particular circumstances. But it is impossible for Bitcoin to double its value if someone announce something, or it gets listed on new exchange and etc. For example if tomorrow USA says that Bitcoin is now their one and only currency, its value wont jump to $+88k. But if they say that, for instance, USDCoin is now their only currency, its value would do x100 as a minimum. Ability to increase value multiple times and wide range of offers are the reasons I buy altcoins.

I used to buy bitcoin when it was cheap and the transactions were also a lot cheaper than what it is today. But now the price is a lot higher than ever before and the same goes to the transaction fees involved, so I shifted to other coin and tokens which are cheaper now but are speculated to rise exponentially in the future like the Metaverse tokens and the coins based on binance smart chain instead of buying tokens on Ethereum chain.

We are all having the same reason and that's for the profit and the difference is just the period or how long we're going to hold it.

therefor everything that is involved with finance is know as business, buying alt-coin is a business that can brings profits or loose after a short, or long time returns investment.

Not everyone who goes for short term period goes into a loss and that's the same as long term and vice versa.

For me, the only reason for the altcois to start taking their bullish turn is that BTC rises in price and is put in a new ATH, which is something that we cannot rule out, but for now the market is a bit strange, with a lot of uncertainty In fact, the whales have tested price levels to see how the offer behaves, trying to push the price to $43-$45k, but we have seen that there are many bears, so it is somewhat difficult to eliminate the offer, since as long as there is a lot of supply, it will be difficult for btc to rise and, consequently, altcoins to rise.

I heard, and decided to follow ENGN concepts since they create the game around blockchain functions; the game can now be built using traditional gaming mechanics, and ENGN can be applied to bridge the gap in the game.

Of course. Altcoins are very useful for moving money across chains at a fraction of the cost. You can simply convert Bitcoin to altcoins or vice versa for peace of mind. Considering that altcoins are much more volatile than Bitcoin itself, they're a great way to make profit within a short amount of time (if you play your cards right). I'd "stick" with tried-and-tested altcoins that are not driven by hype but the number of use cases (mainstream adoption/demand) they provide. If you choose the right altcoins, you'll be able to use the profit to buy more Bitcoin. I'm pretty sure most people buy altcoins for profit.

Ultimately, it's all about Bitcoin. As long as you have Bitcoin in your portfolio, nothing else matters. Just my opinion

The reason I buy altcoins is because I hope to get big profits like the success story of the buyer who bought $120 Shiba Inu 15 months ago and now he is earning hundreds of thousands of dollars in profit, of course the opportunity for big profits from cryptocurrencies can still happen because there are many projects that look promising like Metaverse which is now trending in various media.

Very interesting sir, the biggest reason I buy and hold coins/tokens is basically for investment and get a definite profit, but to exceed the market value of BTC and ETH in my opinion it takes a long time, and if I see news on social media and etc. there are still many who say the 2022 bull run is not over yet, hopefully, it's true and crypto prices continue to improve which in these few weeks is very vulnerable to a correction.
