Bitstarz Need help getting my deposit back/credited

If you have already made your deposit there is really nothing you can do.

Next time, either use a lower fee coin or choose a better time to send your transaction when there is less congestion on the ETH network. But the fees that you have paid seem to be quite standard for ETH.

Don't expect that they will give you. They are probably under contract with a third party that manages their wallets and I think it's a common practice among fiat turned crypto casino. Most likely, they are not allowed to disclose those information under the terms of the contract.

I assume you send 0.011641 eth, so basically, you need to have more than that amount before sending the amount.

I have just checked through the Bitstarz minimum withdrawal, it is 0.01 ETH minimum for ether, but Dingo8mebebe deposited 0.00621900 ETH. This is likely the reason he did not see any deposit. This is one of the ways custodial platforms are scamming people.

That seems like the correct answer, we must always read the terms of service of any platform in which we decide to send our cryptocurrencies, it is a known issue that some casinos decide to take advantage of their position and then they charge huge fees that are not really necessary in order to increase their profits, now we know the fees of the ethereum network can be very expensive but still some casinos and exchanges are taking advantage of that fact and overcharging their customers.

I don't think he can get his money back. Consider it as lost already. Because if there is minimum deposit of 0.01 ETH, then it is clear that he didn't reach that minimum because you need to deduct the gas fee. It is not included in the amount of deposit. So I believe, it is not the site's fault here. Though they can always extend help to players like him because that will give them additional player if they resolve his problem. But if not, you can't press them because he didn't follow their limits. This is the reason why it is always best to check the minimum limits in terms of deposits and withdrawals to any site, not just in gambling platforms, because this simple condition will eat your funds, and that is your negligence.

I'm guessing it's one way to avoid receiving a lot of inputs, I remember sportsbet had a similar case before where the user made a deposit below the minimum amount and luckily sportsbet was nice enough to credit the amount manually then it served as a warning to follow their minimums at all times.

I do not think the site will credit the balance to his account because he already made a mistake. It is a lesson to @OP and us always to double-check the amount before we click Send button. I do not want to use Ethereum to send for playing gambling because the gas fee does not make sense to me. Reading TOS will be a must for gamblers who often play gambling on many websites because the TOS will not be the same for all casinos.

It really depends on the rules of each Casino, unfortunately this is the fault of the player and the Casino cannot be blamed, it is in the Bitstarz FAQ.

So OP has lost the money, it will never credited.
That's why it's important to read the FAQ at the Casino, especially if it's the first time playing and making a deposit otherwise something like this will happen.

So I play pretty often at various crypto Casinos.  Not very often with Ethereum.  But anyway I bought some Ether from an exchange and sent it to Bitstarz.  Well the Adress they populated.    Total Sent

Anyway the Ether is sitting at this wallet address and Bitstarz will no credit my account.  They say they can't and my wallet manager can fix it. . They say The other thing.  So am I screwed out of my money or is there anything I can do?

I really do hope that you didn't send your coins to the wrong address. Otherwise, consider it gone because there's no way of retrieving it unless the active user returns your funds back to your account. Now, if the address you have sent your coins is correct, maybe the reason why your deposit isn't reflected yet on your account is that you sent an amount that is below the minimum deposit that the casino has implemented. Most often this is the problem the players encounter mainly because the casinos do not really do the necessary steps to improve their service, hence, the players suffer. Once you try to deposit a certain amount that did not meet the requirements, your deposit will be forfeited. You will receive no deposit to your funds and most frequently they weren't really able to get their money back. I don't know if the casinos not updating the users about the minimum deposit before their transaction is done on purpose or what. Because this has been a problem for some time now not only in casinos but to other exchangers as well.

I just hope that the casinos and exchangers will address this problem and make necessary solutions to make it convenient and secure to the end of the user. Because after all, they make profits because of their patronage and if it weren't for them, they won't be making money so they should make sure at the very least to make their clients well-taken care of, giving them great products and services and not treating them like trash.

Even if you go on trustpilot you will see that a number of players have had the same problem as you, did you check their reputation before going on about it ? Even though they have a legal license, the way they treat their customers should only be taken seriously when a customer is giving their review. Plus now a days there are numerous bots on the telegram which pays people to write reviews about God knows what and pays them for that or even to make some videos and etc.. therefore I think you should ask them again, since they have a license you should try and file a complaint against them and at the end of the day, you do need to look into a different casino certainly, sorry for your loss.

There's no need to do that since no matter what the OP do bitstarz has a lot of issues already from the past and it is so sad to see someone still fall to that shady casino. Op didn't do wrong when it comes to sending some crypto but his mistake is that he trusted a shady casino which has a lot of complaints from the past until today. The casino probably take everything from their customers and my concerns is that they are still operating even though they were just scamming people. The authority should find these guys so that they will stop with their shady business.

I do not like these kind of rules either but at the end of the day it is their casino and it seems the minimum deposit was very clearly stipulated, and as such the one that is at fault is the one that opened this thread, it is an expensive lesson to learn but at the same time we must remember to always do our due diligence when using any casino for the first time, and if this means reading reviews and the TOS of the website so be it, as no one wants to go through a problem like this and lose their money before they have the chance to have some fun while they gamble.

Before using a centralized site that is using crypto for payment, it is very good to read their terms and conditions, most especially the minimum deposit and withdrawal and others. This has been a means custodial crypto sites are scamming the people with low amount. There would have been a lot of people that are scammed this way. Not only this gambling sites, also there are other terms and conditions provided by custodial exchanges and custodial wallets that are resulting to loss of money for people. Not you key not your coin applies to this.
