NFX is the next big thing after NFT. “X” is the unknown innovation. I say this because humans become easily bored and would in the blink of an eye move on to the next big complicated and confusing money making thing that one of the tech bros is cooking up somewhere in their basement. Notice how if it is not complicated it wouldn’t rake in so much money? Notice how if it doesn’t have buzz words like Blockchain, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, etc., no one is going to look your way?

I could imagine gaming nfts actually being somewhat useful, I don't know about art nfts though (some might be good but they might be better if they also include ownership rights at some point).

A lot of things that take off well are normally hard to kill, they might drop massively but not die. Quite a few things become so big they keep seeing interest. You could take something as simple as pokemon cards that see a revival of interest every few years.

That reminds me of the recent Squid game token scam whereas people were lured by the so-called anti-dump mechanism part. I guess that the part of adding a buzzword really has something to do with people investing in all of those projects, where in fact most of them haven't really got any utilities and some made only for scams. I think that the word is vague enough by the mainstream, I mean like to be able to correlate the word they used to the actual technical meaning of the "X" innovation is really got a gap.

Just like Satoshi even once said, Where Satoshi said that explaining Bitcoin to the masses is really difficult in these early days.

Many called that NFT does not have any utilities, well I can't blame them for that, in fact, the space is still early and I think it has many opportunistic values. To be able to directly "interact" with the creator is something good to be explored more in many aspects like Music, Arts and gamifying things. I rather think that if it's able to gain wider audiences it would make a greater earning opportunity for the people that make use of it.

Well! right now, the price of some NFTs is beginning to drop because there are lots of competitions, especially in the NFT arts category. But the price is still kinda hard to reach common people, just the other day when we saw some video about how to sell your NFT arts on youtube, you required some ETH gas fees to register your items which kinda cost too much for common folks especially those who are residing in the 3rd world countries. As of now, the price is kinda decent and profitable if you still have some unique ideas that are not found in the others.

NFT is still booming because of the hype. Considering the present crypto market if you check the NFT marketplace the price of some are going up and people are crazy about those projects. The next big thing will be metaverse and gaming in this domain. In my opinion, It is a never-ending hype and many more new projects in this space are coming up which are pretty much never heard of.

Well history tells us that everything is fad in altcoin market, ICO-IDO-IEO, the whole staking, meme coins, NFT's and others. So currently, NFT is the latest hype, but I think it will die down when a new thing comes along in crypto space.

Average Joe can just make an art and then posted it in NFT marketplace and hopefully someone will buy it. So everyone is enjoying this hype. But as I have said, it has end of life process, maybe in the next 2-3 years a new hype will come along..

I think the next NFT that will take off and at the same time be profitable at the same time is NFT-gaming. Almost the majority of the new generations are gamers and being able to play while earning at the same time is a dream come true to many. Imagine a game like World of Warcraft or FFXIV but you are able to trade items/tokens for real money, that's going to be a hot topic especially if it's handled by competent developers.

I think the next NFT that will take off and at the same time be profitable at the same time is NFT-gaming. NFT gaming is already taking off and some of them are actually doing good like the Axie Infinity. And I believe, this will continue for long as there are many gamers across the globe. And they are just like in the early stage of popularity among gamers. Now, they are discovering that they can earn tokens that they can convert to real money. Because before, usually, gamers are just spending big amount to their gaming gadgets without expecting any income. But with the rise of NFT gaming, the possibility of earning good money is here, but you need to be smart in choosing the NFT gaming platform.

This market has become one of the most important parts of many startups’ marketing campaigns. For example, the content on your feed, could be related to NFT (next-generation), because it benefits both sides. NFT's have introduced a new concept, making every original thing to be unique in themselves and have value. I think NFT's are not rampant yet but soon will, and will also go on for a long while where it will find application to many other things, which is where i agree with you OP on NFX.

The metaverse in development will create room for the development of more NFT's, in that light...NFT's may not be affordable to everyone, but more persons will be able to afford them to access the metaverse.

I think the Pokemon cards example is very good here. NFT is a temporary hype that won't last very long, just as it happened with Pokemons. Of course, some people will support NFT for a long time, but the technology is moving forward. I think now is the time for the Metaverse hype and investors eyes will be looking in that side.

I am of the opinion that NFTs are ultimately useful.

Just not in the current form though. Art and Avatar NFTs are a dime a dozen yet they are getting sold at thousands of dollars if not millions like Cryptopunks.

There is serious money laundering going on in that space that is propping up the values of these things.

NFX huh Well I think gaming NFTs are actually going to stay very long time and that sector is likely going to keep growing though some projects will likely give way but is has actually come here to stay I think Also other areas will likely follow I think gaming will grow more if traditional industries find ways to incorporate that area too

The entry point might be too early to create a new trend. NFT craze is not over just yet. Gaming industry is exploding because of them and I don't see the mass being bored with it just yet. It will be like the IEO after the ICO. It was never seen much because the ICO trend was not over yet when they came in.
What's more reason for not being seen is the way they call it. NFX? Is this a marketing part to confuse people like what BCH did?
NFT's will stay a bit longer even if some analysts think it is over and not on the trend anymore. It's flexible and can be inserted into anything.

One thing is for sure. When it's related to something digital then it could be a game changer. Nft proves that digital art could be somehow a trend and that's what exactly happened isn't it. For now we can stay for nft hype as the next could possibly unknown new set of technology or innovations that could shape the adoption and usefulness of blockchain.

But now the gaming ecosystem is booming even with the presence of pandemic. So expect last for a very long time.
