Is there any mining motherboard that can be classified as plug and mine motherboard? No any troubleshooting or whatsoever just plug in GPU and start mining straight up, what is your best mobo that gives zero issues in your farm?

Intel B250 BTC B250C Mining Mainboard 12 GPU 12x PCIe-USB3 LGA 1151

I am in love with the Biostar series B250 Pro-BTC,I have one with 6 PCIE-slots and another one newer version with 12 PCIE-slots.You just need to put GEN1 PCIEx in your BIOS and enable Above 4G and you are good to go,this kind of motherboard never gave me any issues and I am mining since early 2017 with these. They run fine for months without a restart even in Windows,in Linux that is of course out of question.I recommend these boards to anyone who asks me what is the best mining motherboard.

B250 hands down 🙌 you can try looking for one but right now they are scarce in my country, even yesterday I try looking for them on Alibaba but the sellers said they are out of stock, this motherboard don't give me any headache when installing them and after they are up and running

the first time mining i used gaming mobo and raising many wierd issue in random, and began using dedicated mobo like asus, and that mobo fail within six months, lol

and i tried using gigabyte b250 fintech, this mobo doesnt have hdmi out, gladly vga out is the best for mining if projecting to monitor, and this the most stable mobo i ever had

With hiveOS you don't actually need a monitor since you can use your smartphone to set up the whole rig, you can watch your mining performance through HiveOS application on your phone, I don't use monitor till date and I have multiple mining rigs, I bet one can't do this on windows OS without the GPUs going to sleep

I use B250 Pro motherboard and others like gigabyte motherboards, I think the best way to avoid problems is buying mining dedicated mobo instead of using gaming motherboards for mining, motherboards that are made for mining have less to zero issues than others

Not at all. I had 2 Asus Mining Expert Boards and had a lot of stability problems on HiveOS and Windows.

At the moment i prefer AMD B350,B450,X470 mainboards. I get such boards from time to time for 29 - 39€ without useless accessories. All can handle 6 - 8 GPU´s and with splitters also more than this are possible.

The best motherboard I've used so far is a Brandless mobo from China with 8 pcie slots onboard, the last time I bought a B250 motherboard It has an issue and I returned it back to China, wasted my time and I was angry got my refund days later, use whatever works for you that's all I will say, some are even using old skool mobo with ddr2-ddr3 rams and they have no issue

The GA-970A-DS3P has been a good choice for many miners for many years. Very cheap components and no BIOS settings, works out of the box. Serves excellently for over 5 years.
Only specialized motherboards for mining are better than this motherboard.
Used such motherboards are sold after 4-5 years of mining, and may have problems in the form of broken ports, etc. I do not recommend buying without checking.

The B250 has been rock solid in every rig I have used it in over the past few years. Pretty much plug-and-play and easy to make a quick 6 card rig with minimal issues. They are so common in mining almost every issue you will run into you can find a solution to online either here in this forum or on Reddit. They are pretty cheap and have no reason to spend up on anything else.

If you can't do some troubleshooting then don't build rigs yourself, even the best B250 pro motherboard can give bad signs at times, you need to know some basics about motherboard if you want to be a miner for example changing CMOS battery, finding faulty ram sticks, changing settings in bios etc this are just normal things to know

my s775 msi p35 ddr2 ram board that is now a teenager has 4 LED lights that during POST shows green and red. if the four LED lights turned green, it means it is booting to the OS, the problems you said are does not exist if the lights are green, saves me the time and trouble hehe.

if the lights are green and i can't remote access, then i have to plug a monitor to see what is the issue.

I preferred socket AM2, for example GA-MA69G-S3H, foxconn-n570sm2aa and other analogs, but the problem is that these motherboards broke because they were over 10 years old.
They also worked out of the box and did not require special BIOS settings.
Even on socket am2 there seemed to be motherboards for 5 video cards, but I don't remember their models.

Best mobos are these cases.

https://minerdude.com/product/pre-order-minerdude-x12-xtreme-12-gpu-smart-mining-rig-pre-order-delivery-late-aug-early-sept/

but they are more for a pro farm with 10 or more cases.

https://minefarmbuy.com/product/octominer/?attribute_model=OM+X12ULTRA+MINI&attribute_ram-ssd-psu=4GB%2F30GB%2F2250W&attribute_pice-cable=18AWG+2x+6%2B2pin%2A12

https://octominer.com/product/x12ultra/

all of the above are basically the same case they are really good and come with hive os

but like I said they are more for a guy that runs 10 or more of them.

The 120-240 version from minerdude will run in a garage
I have had 3 I'm my garage before I move them to the farm.

we have eight cases with 4 on order

our farm can do 46 cases (that is on target for 2023)

we hope to go from 8 to 16 cases this year.

Best MOBO in my own farm is a old i5 2400 motherboard that allows only 6 GPUs on board, since the day that I've set this mobo up I've not done any replacement till this day, not even the new Motherboards I had give me such peace of mind
