Crypto IRA will be migrating to a new contract after a vulnerability was discovered rendering transaction failures for periods of time. Once the vulnerability was discovered the team went to work trying to identify the cause and any potential fixes.
Sadly due to the nature of the bug discovered, as time goes on the issue will only become more persistent. With that in mind it was put to a community vote to determine the next steps we take. The vote saw a 100% “YES” vote to migrate to a new contract ASAP.
The new contract has been audited and will receive some minor updates as the contract is deployed to the main BSC. This new contract has additional functionality, variable fees, a built in multi-sender, as well as some additional security to ensure no further issues arise.
In the coming days there will be further announcements regarding trading on Crypto IRA v2 will be enabled!
Airdrops will begin going out in batches beginning on Tuesday March 8th for those who have expressed they will not be selling CIRA under the current contract.
The goal is to provide as seem-less a transition to V2 as can possibly be provided.
