When bear market?

A much better question of this thread should be “When bear moon?” lol.

Right now, I think we are treading water on BTC, ETH and majority of the cryptocurrencies who belong to the top in market capitalization. The chart right now is looking sideways, it’s like the bears and bulls are playing on a seesaw.

I can’t say that this is a full bear market now. The support level is strong right now, but of course we don’t know how long the bulls can keep up or when it can break the resistance as well.

I am an investor and I crave for bear market, I believe the best time to buy coins are bear markets and will always be bear market, I knew how sweet it was when I got myself 12 ETH at 150$ each in 2020 when Covid was hunting us humans around the globe, so far I've enjoyed this bull season can't wait for bear market

You are expecting a bear market. You know, my portfolio is at a 70% loss. So if another bear market comes, can you imagine what my portfolio will look like? You are waiting for a bearish market. I am waiting for 2030 when I will be in that position. I want to be in that position in my life. Though I am at a 70% loss, I do not care because I have been watching the crypto market since 2017 and I know about the situation of crypto market and i think i am enough capable for controling my emotion. It already happened and it is not over yet in my own opinion. Prices of Bitcoin and altcoins are still way cheaper than a few months ago.

Many assume that this is not a bearish period. Because the ATH position achieved by bitcoin is not yet at the end of the year or the beginning of 2022. According to them, right now is a correction phase, so it's normal if OP doesn't think it's a bear market right now, because in his view, the market is still in a period of correction. Even if we look at the RSI indicator, 1D, currently BTC is still in a side way condition.

For me personally, I agree if the current market conditions have entered a bearish phase, because BTC already break ATH two times this year. Maybe I'm wrong (NFA/DYOR)

Makes sense Masulum I'm just confused about the two days recovery and more days in dips, it looks like fake recovery in action so yes things looks bearish to me right now than bullish market, it will get to a stage where not even good news can keep the market condition in a good state anymore, let's wait and see how things goes into 2022

The bear market is an opportunity to make profits because without a bear market there will never be a bullrun market so everyone who wants a bullrun market must be willing to struggle with bear conditions first because it cannot be separated

The bear market will not be coming soon because as you said there are many accumulation in the market but it already happened as bitcoin gets dumped but you must also need to see the new TA from various traders on twitter, at this point I think it’s possible for the market to instead have the next bullrun .
I think you could figure out that although there are many whales trying to make a panic selling in the market by selling a lot of coins especially in NFT markets or any NFT games based coin, the resistance is quite strong and it seems that will not be an easy thing to do even for the whales.
But we maybe going to see massive market change when we are in new year because many analyst keep saying that the new year could be a chance for the market especially the market for NFTs to take drastic change and if there is any drastic change it will be huge change for NFT market.
I have made decent profit from buying various legit tokens at the dip. thanks for bitcoin that brings market to go down.

You just need to be more active and keep track of the price during the day. Waiting for the next halving would be a bit absurd to wait just for you to buy more coins. You should definitely check the prices right now since Bitcoin is hovering around 48k. There might be alts that are waaaay below and you might be able to buy a lot.

This month had been all down market and I guess that's the sign it was all bearish. Bitcoin is less $20k already from the time it reached its ATH at 69k.
So with that in mind, you could say the bear market already happened and the next thing we can assume is a bull.
If you are in a process of purchasing again then there may be no best time but now. We don't know what tomorrow will bring but for me this is a winning moment for those looking for the right time to buy it. Who knows if the next year will be another ATH for it.

So what's your definition about the bearish market? is not it when market facing a bearish trend? and that's happened a few days ago. We are in the bearish market as the price of bitcoin was plunged so hard but i must also remind you that if this time crypto market is unpredictable. You can buy cheap coins at this moment and that means if we are in the bearish market. That's quite different when you can only buy coin at peak price and that's bullish market.

It's not even annoying but to be honest you can buy more legit coins as your preparation for the next halving right now. Is not it giving you if the crypto market already entered the bearish trend? If crypto market is not facing the bearish trend and you may not able to buy cheap coins like this time. That's more than enough to prove that if we are still in the bearish market.

If when bitcoin is surging and your altcoins are stagnant and when bitcoin is falling your altcoins keep tumbling, I think you are in a bear already, you may not neccessarily see 2018/2019 bear style that was too brutal besides we have more adoption now than we were then and more  sustainable innovations now.

I absolutely agree with you. I am also looking forward for a bear market so as to buy fundamental coins for better prices, so as for now, I am selling off altcoins and accumulate stable coins.
The next bear market will be not because of some bad news, it will be cyclic as everything on the market works in a cycle so as there was a long bull run, it must be a correction.

I do think we are going to see one anytime soon, while some believe it is going to come during the next year I think this market is going to defy our expectations and it is going to keep going up during that time, and my reasons for that are simple, the pandemic is still going to be an issue during the next year and this means the economy is still going to do badly, and with this in mind then the market of cryptocurrencies has no option but to do well as people look for a way to make some profits during the difficult economic conditions they are facing.

This means that you have sold your crypto and now want to buy back at lower prices. Bear market may come but first we need a true bull market to trigger a bear market. I think this bull market are extended and soon you will realize that you have sold your crypto assets too early.
Remember bitcoin at 50,000$ and Ethereum at 4000$ are not the fair value of these assets. You do not know the potential of crypto , if you consider the 69,000$ ATH for next 2 -3 years.

Everyone wants a bull market and you want a bear market!  I think the market will gradually bearish towards May-June of 2022. And if the market is bearish, our portfolio will decrease.  Remember that winter season is always long. So do not wait for the bear market and make as much profit as possible.

I would say we are not really in a bearish market, it seems like it is doing fine right now. 50K is not a bearish market, it was closer to 45k just recently and we are now doing a lot better. Which is why I feel like we are doing fine so far and that is why I would not say it is bearish. I am not saying it is bullish neither, all I am saying is that it is not bearish, we are right in the middle right now and that is doing fine. This is why I feel like we are talking about something that is mild and not hyped at all, it is just a regular market movement, nothing exciting, no bear no bull no correction no recovery nothing at all, it is just plain old boring market.

I am not an expert in cryptocurrency market, but I think every end of year such market speculation happens, and if such happen many traders that are new in the system will panic and sell because they think they can't afford too much loss instead of them to keep holding their token and study the market. So this market speculation might leed to bear market, so I am targeting to keep usdt for future buy.

Until now there is no sign that the market will be bull run, maybe we have to wait until 2022, but in general we should be happy because the market doesn't drop too deep like July which dropped by more than 50%, always be optimistic and be patient to hold so that we get another bull run soon.
