When bear market?

I am really not a huge fan of bear market because I hate to see my assets crashing .Many people do like it because it is the best time to buy altcoins in the market and hold them for huge profits but to me it seems like a risk I prefer buying and selling when market is stable.

Lol, for sure nobody here wants a bear market because our assets will go down and it's going to be a long crypto winter for us.

However, it's part of the natural cycle of crypto, 4 years like a year or two of bullish and then followed by a bearish one. One thing I learned though is to hold and then buy during bear market and then wait for the bull run to happen again. It will be very long and dry, but if you have the mental toughness then sure you can do it and realised your profits later.

For me personally, I agree if the current market conditions have entered a bearish phase, because BTC already break ATH two times this year.

Is two ATH of BTC mean the sign of bullrun end? If it is a valid sign or indicator, what you said can be true. But why do many people still predict the next ATH of BTC? Even many top ranks in this forum still predict BTC has a chance to achieve more than $70k in the next year. If they are lying, I think they must get a warning because of spreading deceptive predictions.

Actually, depending on the thought about the bear market, I personally still believe in the current cycle system, namely when something will go down, it will soon go up, and vice versa.

I think we are already into sort of a bear run because the prices for most cryptos are in a stalemate kind of situation where nothing is moving but some coins are dropping by a few 1-2%.

If you think it's a bull run because BTC is $47k then my friend, you are underestimating the pice nothing else. I don't see BTC going below $40k in the near future, if ever at all because we are past that point now, thanks to the mass adoption that happened. It may be PayPal or Musk, I don't care but BTC is now well known to almsot everyone.

I am in fact expecting a bull run in Feb-March in 2022 where BTC should again reach a new ATH, then correction happens and it comes back to 60-70k.

Don’t know for sure, but I am thinking that the altcoins market would be bullish in the month of January. So it is quite possible that the bearish trend would be just for now and after that, from next year January they would become bullish and that would possibly last for a long time. So, if you really want to by any altcoins, now might be the right time for you to start buying them for as much as you want to buy them and store in your wallets to hold for the next year.

I am not saying this because I am hundred sure of it, my prediction might, so you anything you try to do would be at your own risk. Try to do further research to know whether this would be the right decision to take right now or not.

In part I think the same as you and for one reason only, everyone thought that this December Bitcoin was going to rise to $ 100k, even much more than $ 100k, and all that environment that was created has happened to the contrary, causing many to place their positions. in Short, which is something very dangerous, because for January they can give unexpected surprises from the whales or the so-called bearish traps, which liquidate all those in Short position and raise the price of BTC.

It is good if now, you are ready for the bear market coming. The bear market already comes but it is not too big as the bitcoin price does not drop or touch the lowest price than the current price. But it could go down for any time as we do not have the right prediction. Many altcoins are getting down because of bitcoin correction. Many of them drop because of losing their power to hold the price. Hopefully, the bear market will not come so soon instead we will see the bull market for a while and help us make more profit.

Well we can all mitigate the risk, but in the end, no one can really prepare for the incoming bear market because we really don't know when it's going to come although there could be indications and signs, but it will not be exact.

And maybe like in the bull run, when we thought that we are going to hit $100k, this December, suddenly there is a wind of change, pulling the price below $50k. So for me, we will never know that we are in a bear market, unless we are really in the bear market.

I think in early 2022 there will be a bear market. In my opinion the cause of the bear market in early 2022 is due to the effect of price increases that have occurred since the beginning of 2021 and a very significant price increase in 2021.
the price will not always go up because there are times when the price will go down and in my opinion this price decline will occur in early 2022 and the price decline that occurred at the end of this year is a sign that bitcoin will soon enter a bearish phase.

All the markets are always known for surprising every investor and this way you should always expect the unexpected things to happen in this crypto space as well. I mean to say that when people were expecting bearish market at the beginning of 2022, we are having sideways market and this must be the enough signal for upcoming another stronger bullish market which means you may not get what you you are highly anticipating.

Probably you must need to wait for some more time because this yearend must be dominated by bearish trend but sometimes you may not need to wait till the end of the year; and I am expecting that is the point you will be surprised.

Yes, many experienced people have speculated like the current on-going bullish trend will last till the mid of this year hence to experience the bearish trend, I guess we do not need to wait till the year end; but we need to note here that these are all just speculation and not exact technical based predictions hence anything could happen.

I am also in plan to make use of bearish trend by selling at the end of bullish market but not sure when and where the current bull market will end.

You are not annoying, whether we like it or not, the bear market will come as that is part of the cycle of crypto. There are too many factors that you should remember as a sign that the market will have a correction or it will become worst more than what we expected.
The FUD is the number one factor and this was usually a sign that we can determine about the bear market comes. Early bear market stage, if you want to accumulate altcoins, will probably still be at risk.

I do not think the bear market is going to be as bad as the one we saw after the last bull run, it is true that for example right now the price of bitcoin is going down but it still remains above the 40k price, which in my opinion is not bad at all, considering the ATH of the previous bull run was 20k, a floor of 40k is great and should tell us that bitcoin has made great progress during all of those years in which the price remained almost static.

It really turns out to be difficult for me to say that there will be a bear market, if in my long-term analysis through Wyckoff I conclude that we are in a bullish trend, or starting the bullish trend, any price drop may mean that it is now a small correction, because for me, according to what is coming, it is an imminent upward trend, one should only wait for the right moment, of course there are some fundamentals such as covid-19 that really affects the world and the Omicron variant is becoming more and more accentuated, which It has caused many countries to close borders, perhaps this panic acts as a bearish effect, but it is not confirmed.

Yes, it's already here. Now the question, is everyone really up to the challenge and face a long 2-3 years of bearish market? I know it's going to be tough for the majority here because I have seen it already.

I still remember back in the days of 2017, wherein there are a lot of newbies who quit their job and totally focus on crypto trading, but then again the bear market comes along and I really don't know if they were able to cope with the stress of seeing the market getting a nosedive and if they have money to bring food in the table.

Maybe he was a big fan of NFT's but you are almost right about bitcoin, it's the best time to buy because it's going down so the price is very cheap as of this time and maybe throughout the year. NFT's on the other hand might follow where the market is going, into a full bear mode. If that happens then the price will surely go down as well and it's going to be very difficult to bounce back not like bitcoin wherein the chances are there to recover and even hit another all time high this year.
