Satisfied what you gained with altcoins in 2021?

Of course I'm satisfied, even though the profit I get is still small compared to 2017 but I'm satisfied because some coins that I consider dead can skyrocket again in 2021, I'm optimistic that the future of cryptocurrencies will continue to improve so I don't hesitate to keep buying.

It can be said that 2021 is better than the increase that has occurred in 2017 or 2013, many coins are showing fantastic performance like Solana and Shiba, and some of my very profitable assets are AAVE, MANA, Polkadot, MATIC and so on.

To be honest, I made a huge lot of profits for the year 2021 alone compared to the past few years since I started with cryptocurrency. It's really different now when you are well-knowledge, you know what to do. For the past few years and past bear market, I learned a lot of lessons and applied them for this year.

For the altcoins I invested past year or this year, most of them I already took profits, most are partial. Taking profits is not always a bad choice.

Everyone ends up learning that holding a bit is the most profitable way. Get the good known big name coins and hold them as long as you have to and you will make a profit. Not to say that you can't invest into other things, but 90% of my portfolio is holding known big names, and the other 10% goes to trading and smaller cap stuff.

I have been around here for a long time and I have to say I became a good investor only in 2020, many years after I first started. It may take some time to learn the ins and outs of crypto investment, but in the end we all learn it. I hope that it will not take too long for me to grow this into "decent size" instead of the small amount I have right now, but I know that with this right mindset we have, we are going to build it into a wealth in a decade or so for sure. We just need to not steer away from our path and keep doing what we are doing.

Yes, crypto investing is not learned in just an overnight but it takes a long time processing. And once you're good at it, no matter what the season, you will always bound to make profits most of the time.

However, with regards to profits taking, i think i am more satisfied this year than those previous ones. The market has been positive at the start of the year and from then on, a lot of chances had given me to take profits and now i'm reaping it.

If someone is dissatisfied with the achievement of altcoins in 2021 it means that person is buying at the peak price, and it's hard to sell now
because the market hasn't recovered. Or maybe the person is a newbie and has no knowledge of the performance of altcoins in the previous year.
Because when compared to the previous year, most of the altcoins experienced a significant increase in 2021. So 2021 is indeed the best year
so far, because almost all altcoins reached new ATH prices this year, and the profit that we generate in 2021 should be very satisfying.
I believe 2022 will be much better, so I decided to hold several altcoins that I consider potential until 2022.

Why is it that you've gotten a smaller profit this year than 2017? You should have a bigger profit by this year because the bull run is much more than that year. Anyway as long as you're satisfied, that's what matters and it's still a profit whether it's smaller or bigger by this year or by the past other bull runs that has came.

Yes it will. Just keep the believe and do your thing of buying more because you're the one that will benefit from it if another bull run comes. Well, I forgot to tell you that choice matters.

Cryoto market was bullish from at beginning of this year and hit most of ATHs. still i can see, altcoins recovering themself and keep increasing. Almost each and every altcoins performed/performing well and it is expected that, everyone has made satisfactory gain in this year but there are also someone, whose's luck doesn’t flavour on those. Well so do you think, you are satisfied what you gained with your altcoins in 2021??

Not that much because i dont have almost altcoins in my port and mostly focused on top ranking ones.Gains or profits arent that much though but it is better rather than have nothing at all. So lets make more better move on upcoming year 2022 and lets see if we would really be lucky on finding some good or potential ones.

Satisfaction will really be depending on how long you've been holding for a coin and then getting gains in the end of the year.Im not really that type of investor that do usually wait for long
term or yearly basis.

Once i do make out some profits then i do directly sell or simply if i do see those opportunities then i dont really let it pass easily.

No, ethereum has not yet set an ATH in 2021 in BTC. If you people are considering USD value but you keep on buying etehreum for bitcoins then you are all disappointing yourself. This way most altcoins has not got into ATH so far in 2021 except dogecoins which must be the only one coin due to it, I too find this year a complete and satisfying one. I hope ethereum may hit above 0.12 BTC in 2022 so make the next year a remarkable one as well.

Those are everyone's expectation on 2022 but not sure what are surprises are going to unfold in this crypto space for all of us. I believe bitcoin may get into a new ATH and then few altcoins will get into their respective ATH with the help of FOMO.

Overall 2021 is well satisfactory as far as my portfolio is concerned, I made or earned some decent profits in some Altcoins I invested and traded daily on, while I incurred some losses too, I missed some Altcoins I ought to have invested in, example Solana, this year witnessed a tremendous growth in cryptocurrencies market courtesy of new investors coming on board and massive adoption which culminated to many Altcoins attaining ATH, hopefully I will research more to unveal some of the prosperous coins in 2022 and invest in them.

Yup, although there are some losses because of some projects that suddenly became stagnant and because of some common mistakes as well, at least i recovered all my capital and i made it x2 which is not bad for me in my personal opinion.. For me the lesson on this journey. wherein next time better to stick which project can really guarantee a good return. Be contented..

Holding doge since 2017 is a weird investment but whoever did it really did earned a lot of money. However the reality is that 2018 all time high was very early in the year for altcoins, that was literally right after bitcoin reached its peak and then everyone realized they can't make more profit from bitcoin and moved to altcoin and then they moved completely out of crypto for a while.

This year has been great that's true, it has been one of the best years if not the best year to be in crypto and there were tons of people who got rich even by just investing this year. Look at doge at the start of the year and look at the ATH price of it, even this year has been insanely profitable to be honest. So, it is always good to invest into crypto, doesn't matter how long you hold it, the longer you hold it the more profit you will have, but even at short term it could be very profitable if you get in at the right time.

The 3 coins that I keep in my wallet and I thought they would become shitcoins since 2018 turned out to be skyrocketing in 2021, with profits of up to more than $2500 (in my opinion it's big)

It would be too good to get your excitement if you are sharing what are the coins you kept in your wallet which surprised you in 2021. I guess one of the coin must be dogecoins but I am not sure what are the other two coins will be. Probably SOL or anything similar to that high performing ones.

the best strategy in 2021 is staking because it's safer and less risky than daily trading.

Staking? In my personal experience, I like to warn you you like you may earn in USD value but definitely you will lose in BTC values. Moreover the chances for making profit out of any POS coins would be having less than 10% chances.
