Still early for "Happy new year" but hey, it is what it is. And guess what? Another topic about 2022 coins *insert sad music sound*. Let's make this an informative topic, about coins you are holding and WHY. Please explain WHY you are holding a specific coin for atleast 6 months. If you guys wanna make it more fun, add the CURRENT prices too. We will see eachother next year and do a recap on this topic. This way we get somewhat a winner with the most % gained since he posted his coin. Will close this thread with a winner and re-open a new 2023 year topic. Something competetive + we can learn from each other. This can be lots of fun. To prevent people listing 20+ coins, list your top 5.

Altcoins - LangePara 2022

1. SAND - current price $6.63
A metaverse coin, there are many out there but SAND is unique because of The Game Maker. After watching a few video's, I am convinced this will be one of the few winners when it comes to metaverse gaming, because of the team. When it comes to gaming, developers are one of the MOST important things. If the game is trash, noone will play it. I know SAND has got some serious good game designers + developers in house. They are dedicated.

2. AZERO - current price OTC $1
Aleph Zero is not out yet on any exchanges. But it will be in the future (2022). The presale price was $0.1 and OTC price right now is $1, hence I say the price is about $1. Aleph Zero ($AZERO) is a new layer 1 set to launch their mainnet tomorrow. Aleph Zero is a privacy-enhancing public blockchain. based on an original peer-reviewed consensus protocol and an integration with the substrate stack. It solves the shortcomings of current distributed ledger technology platforms:

IBN/Airbus/Kucoin partnership, 40m marketcap. They do little advertising and so its very hidden. VIDT is known for Web3, AI & Big Data, NFTs and more. If WEB3 becomes a thing, VIDT will be a big part of it.

4. KILT - current price $4.79
KILT is a blockchain protocol for issuing self-sovereign verifiable, revocable, anonymous credentials and enabling trust market business models in the Web 3.0.

Edit: 17-05-2022 - forgot this thread existed. I've sold $SAND at $5. I've sold A0 at $3. I've sold VIDT at $0.6. Sold IOTA at $1.22. Overall made some money on A0.

You have a good list and am sure you must have good reasons why you choose your top 5 that way...and reading the post certainly those 5 got strong potential for strong growth in 2022 when metaverse and web 3.0 can be raging on the marketplace. Now, as for me, I am bereft of any funds to invest on new projects so I am just maintaining some coins and tokens which I got from my bounty works here. Hopefully, I can also get lucky and can participate in a project that will be making a big boom by next year. Happy new year everyone and may we all get our desires and wishes in the coming new year!

Those are just my choices but I don't think that I'll have all of them. I'm still into the top cryptos in the market and they're two, you know what are those cryptos I'm telling you.

They're still the best for me and these 5 that I've mentioned, they're going to be part of my additionals.

There are still a lot of good coins with good potential that's worth mentioning the first time I read about Sandbox and it's not yet to invest here but since it's on Ethereum blockchain I'm worried about the fee, it's always a big concern if you've stumble a good project and it's hosted on Ethereum chain, right now my priority are projects that are on Binance chain, fast and cheap just like what Ethereum used to be.

My tops coins going into 2022

AVAX- Faster and cheaper transactions than ETH. Easy to use platform to develop off of. If anyone can overtake ETH I truly think AVAX has the best shot.
JOE- Of all the DEX tokens I believe the current price is severely undervalued and if AVAX does continue to rise the price will catch up and pass that of SUSHI and others. Solid team with strong marketing and partnerships.
ALGO- Underrated and undervalued blockchain that has some great projects already running. Being able to stay in the governance program alone through staking will yield 10-16% annually if not more.
IME- P2E game that had a strong funding round backed by 3AC as the lead. Expect to see some solid marketing and development ahead of the late Q1 launch.
TIME- Highest risk coin but the price is at a solid level and of all the insane high multiple projects Dani and his team are the ones I want to put my money behind. I have been holding since Sep and already taken out my initial investment. I am letting the rest go to 0 or make over a million in 9 months.

2. ETH - Solid coin, will still give big profits for years to come.
3. Solana - Has the potential to make huge gains in the long term.
4. Floki Inu - I have a feeling this will explode.

A lot to pick from, right? NFTs, Gaming, Defi, WEB3, Metaverse, Memecoins, and many more haha. Goodluck in your search buddy! An irl friend of mine is an airdrop hunter, sadly he didn't buy BTC back in 2014 when I told him to. But he makes a decent amount with airdrops only. Now he just stacks satashis hehehe.

I haven't heard of some of the coins that you mentioned. For me, the likes of Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), and Terra (LUNA) are some of the rising altcoins that have something to really be proud of. They are becoming popular because of what they could offer unlike the likes of Shiba Inu and other meme coins. This means they have a good future.

But of course, Bitcoin and the best altcoins such as Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Monero (XMR), etc should always be part of your portfolio.

It is good if you have the most portion for bitcoin than the altcoin.
I think Sand, Matic, Mana, CRO, and ADA can increase more than today, but the other coins are worth holding, but you need to search for those coins.
But ETH and BNB will have the biggest chance to increase besides Bitcoin so those three coins is a must to have in our wallet.
But no matter what coins you want to invest in, you need to search by yourself and not because other people suggests you buy that coins.

CRO is not metaverse but it could become like BNB so for me that's a good choice. I like 3 of 5 of those listed by livingfree.

Then most will also be Metaverse type of coins that are currently not hyped yet. RSC and DPET may be as it goes forward to their new updates of the game. It could be a good reason to boost the value of it and gain short term profits in January. Happy New Year!

CRO is actually known for it's aggressive marketing strategy.

These are just the top 100 altcoins that I think may get enough momentum in the market considering some of them hasn't get huge success on 2021. I mean they increased 2x 3x 4x but I think they still have more room for growth since most of those gains was just reverted with the recent crashes we've seen this year.
