it's obvious you are a big fan of huobi...

what is certain is that I prefer trading on binance or FTX and to reduce fees, of course FTX is my mainstay, so far based on my experience FTX is the exchange with the lowest fee.

There's a basic method for that if you want to convert erc20 to trc or bsc in order to safe fees. And for me probably BSC if the cheaper, and if i remember it correctly i used a swap site and also metamask wallet, wherein there's a video tutorial around the internet as well which i followed and it's totally legit. "sorry i cant see it on my bookmark" but yeah its true and a simple way than yours @op.
