Guys have anyone tried mining on a egpu before? I happened to land on one from someone I knew since childhood but it requires thunderbolt 4 to work I can get around this easily but will mining work on it? It's a ROG XG Station 2 but I won't mind experience from other egpu as well

If you have such equipment, then I think you will not have any problems.

ROG XG STATION 2 is an adapter for connecting a more powerful video card to an old computer or laptop, if you can play, you can also mine.

If you really have this equipment why waiting around for answers? Just fire it up and try Nicehash on it this will do the automatic benchmark and once that's done the mining will start, don't wait around to hear what people will say, you can game with the egpu right? So what are you waiting for?
