Hello guys! As most members know few days ago i started topic "serach for betting partners". Many representatives of bookmakers came to praise their bookmakers and suggested that I bet there, nothing new. But as I have said 5x there is no bookmaker meets what I need (there are really a few good ones, but after a couple of bets they limit your maxbet to 5-10 euros)

My last post on that topic was a question for the representative of playbetr.com why they locked my account, of course I didn't get an answer but they locked my topic and nothing can be written anymore.

So I have few question for the moderators here.
Do you delete a post or lock a topic every time you are wrong, is that a real solution?
Is this forum made for people to help each other or just to promote some sites and bookmakers?
Is it real for you to support and continue to advertise bookmakers like 1xbit? A boomaker that has scamed thousands of people, they can still be promoted and advertised.

Please don't spam my topic again with how there are trusted bookmakers here, yes, I agree, but they limit the maxbet to 10e and that is not the solution for us players!

 I can see that your message it is still there, just look on your posts history, it seems just that the moderator has merged it with the previous one (of yours), that is because mulitiposting (multiple consecutive posts) is not allowed ..
The PM you got is just a generic message for notification.

Better check your post history it's still there, it's not good that you throw accusations on moderators like they are supporting 1xBIT, not one moderator participated in the signature campaign or talk positively about 1XBIT, I also got some of my topics locked and they have done this to avoid redundant discussion your thread could fall into that category and since this post is questioning moderators action on your post I let them answer it.

I agree, we are a little off topic, but it's not my fault, other people started writing, I just posted my experiences with bookmakers from this forum and tried to find people who bet the same as me

Bitcointalk doesn't moderate scam and the staff doesn't take sides and makes decisions what is a scam and what isn't. Therefore, you are allowed to discuss or advertise any services and sites you want unless you are breaking one of the forum rules while doing that. Since you mentioned 1xBit, you are free to advertise that site as well. They have been running signature campaigns on the forum for a while now, and the moderators don't interfere in the process. What can and does happen is that DT members will give you a negative feedback for promoting scams. This has nothing to do with Bitcointalk admins and is not moderated either.

As been pointed out your post wasn't deleted, but merged. Most moderators use the

to split up the merged posts. Sometimes moderators will leave a note in red, depending on who edited it.

Without knowing the original intention of Satoshi, it's become a place where you help others out, as well as promote certain services. That's the point of the marketplace section, usually.

This is generally quite controversial, but scams aren't moderated probably because moderating scams would open up a can of worms, which would be a headache to actually navigate correctly. So, instead there's a trust system implemented that the community can work together to warn others of a potential scam.

Usually, scams are sussed out by the community, and there's threads made, as well as flags.

The forum doesn't offer any direct service to users per se, other than providing this platform for us to discuss like we're doing now, it's establishments that come to the forum to offer their services, and yes they can be wrong, fraudulent, scammy etc, and you can air your grievances against them to prolly warn other users about them and so they get a negative rating, but even in doing so, you must follow the forum rules, for example if you post an accusation against a company in the B&H section, it'll be moved to scam accusation board, it does not mean the forum is wrong, it's just the due process and mods have to follow it adequately, just like in your case.

I think it's primarily for discussing about Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, and of course other whatnots. But cause the forum is really "big" and houses a lot of users, establishments wish to promote their services here, which till now is allowed.

There's an axiom of 'do your own research', and it does not apply only to the forum, but all your crypto activities, it's up to every user to do their research about any service/site they come across on the forum, if you're scammed it's on you and not the forum, but if there's an establishment that's proven to be fraudulent, then they'll receive negative ratings from DT members to warn users about them, thus any user who does his research will see such rating and steer clear, that's the importance of DYOR.
