That was some very expensive tip and I think that was really a mistake or probably just a mistake just like what you have said but it is good to you that you wanted to give it back to the owner, what could be the reason? Some people are grateful to have those and you, wanted to give it back thinking it was a mistake.

He does not know the player that tipped him for that amount. Even if he asked the casino or support system, that is still not easy to find that player. So it is better to keep that amount and use it carefully but not use it for gamble because he will not have great luck as the other gamblers. If he can use it for a good thing, that will bring him another good thing for his life.

I don't understand how he believe that this tip was accidental. Someone may have been so kind to send 3.8 btc to him. If it was a mistake by the sender, he might have sent the chat message to him or asked the support for any kind of help.
By the way i am interest to see any proof that he actually received the tip and it is not a dream of him

I do also think so.
He might think that it is very rare to happrn, moreover with that high amount. 3.8BTC is not a small amount, that is a big amount.
However, I also want to ask, there is a tip history and he knows the tip sender, doesn't he? The question is, is there in the platform any chatroom or message to contact each player? It will make easier to find the sender, right?
And if he ask to the CS, I am sire that CS has the data and be able to contact the sender by using chat or even email, I am sure that if contacting their CS, the problem will be solved.
But I am also curious if that is real, not a dream or try to attract all members here by being so honest or even making a short story only. If this exactly true, I really appreciate what he does.

I don't think we will see any evidence that this story is true for a very simple reason, which is that it was just made up by OP. The indications are that he only made this story so that everyone would think he was very honest and gave him merits. I don't see any other reason.

But he failed on getting one as people wont really be that dumb because stories like these are mostly trolling or unbelievable speaking on the amount of bitcoin on that year then it is already big to consider

as a tip unless if his your personal friend or something like that but for a random person? Who would really make out those kind of tips on that big amount?

Mistakes could happen but for someone who do able to do so is impossible on general sense or on any angle.

This is quite amazing and sound unbelievable but be that as it is you have good intentions to return the funds, but the truth of the matter is if you want to return you don't need the casino to give you the username of the sender rather check your transaction history on blockchain explorers to see the senders details from there you can return the money. But with your story, I don't think most users will believe you because of the lack of evidence to show how authentic the claims are.

Upon reading the OPs story (I have doubt it is not true) there was a tip accidentally sent to the wallet last year, it's just a year before it will be realized that it was wrong and I return the tip, now OP was calling that unknown tipster and send it back. So Op where you have been for how many months, I don't think it will be there on the transaction history, most likely it will be deleted from your transaction history after 6 months or more than that.

Did op reply?. If not then I am right that this is just as I have said before. It's feels wrong when the tip is received years ago and after that year op decided to return tip which if it were me is I could have returned it already or if the owner won't accept when I return it is I will divide the funds which is to myself and the other is for donations something like that. In that way, you will have money to spend and also you helped those who really need it just like me. Luckily, the electricity willcbe restored in some part where I live on January 31.

If he was really planning to give it back in the first place then he wont really be letting it to take so long and make out some decision on giving it back on this year?

The thead should be locked, when their is a misleading points.The tips of casino or gambling sites are mention in the threads can be used by other people. Some tips of yolodice was meantioned here had a unique one. While investing in the crypto currency was different and investing on gambling are different.

Well he made many of us wonder about that 2 years duration and all of a sudden coming out in the open specifically this forum to ask about how he cans end that big amount .

It is possible that the username is visible, but the OP did not describe the situation very clearly. We can also understand from it that he cannot access his account and tries to contact the user who sent it to him by creating this thread here.
I also have doubts about the truthfulness of this story, but if it is true, it may be a good thing that the thread will be open and remain visible in the gambling section for some time.
