I guess still the same for almost everyone else, hoping that bitcoin will still have a massive bull run and get into that 6 digits that we all have wanting to achieved.

However, as I have said before, it seems to me that all indication is pointing that a imminent bearish market is going to come this 2022, so that's my expectations. Although is sounds very negative, but I think at least we should all be prepared to see the worst after hitting 2x all time high in 2021.

The biggest hope is, of course, for bitcoin, if this happens again, it is likely that other altcoins will follow suit and that hope is that bitcoin is the main view.
There are several coins that I chose for 2022 but they are still in a bear market I'm not sure for the short term seeing the bitcoin situation which is still a fluctuating pattern, still I will commit to the long term to start with this strategy, but if you want to hurry with advantage then I am difficult to analyze now.

Bitcoin seem to be the coin for the look out this year because every speculation is on it. If bitcoin is affected positively or negatively it will definitely touch other coins performance. Just last year ending bitcoin went a little down, all other coins suffered from that too. This is simply pointing us to the common fact that the rise or fall of bitcoin will show in altcoins.

Bitcoin remains my main and priority besides altcoins, I only have a few altcoins and more bitcoins, and no one can predict the price of bitcoin in the short term because bitcoin is the best for the long term with good returns.
the best i can do is buy and hold until i reach my desired selling price and if this year i don't reach it there is still next year until i reach my desired sell price.
and I feel the price of bitcoin and altcoins this year will be good and we'll see because 2022 has just started.

Most of the coins follow bitcoin trend whether it is up or down so I don't think there will be anything special in the upcoming months. There is few coins that move separately from bitcoin like Shiba, at least as far as I followed it but who knows

^There is no doubt that the majority is a hope and expectation BTC will grow up rapidly than the altcoins and we all know that altcoins will follow the BTC trend in the market. I did not find a good sign of BTC that will grow rapidly in this first quarter of the year because still, people recovered the money that spends during holidays that usually takes their money away just because of many expenses. Probably, in the second quarter but I did not sure about this just my personal assumption where BTC price heading at, so it will remain unpredictable.

I’m expecting a lot of good projects to rise again this year and I just have a simple strategy, which is to buy them on a cheaper price and hold until it rise again. I’m just hoping for NFT games to continue rising this year, hopefully they can bounce back from the last big corrections. I may not see big bull market this year, but hopefully we can still be more profitable this year, new year means new opportunities for me.

There's still the same expectation from the majority for this year. And that's about reaching another ATH, that's always the case for bitcoin if it's about speculation. There are people who likes to see it fall for them to buy and that's what they're speculating.
Whether we like it to happen or not, there's no control for us bitcoin to reach those prices that we want to achieve. The only matter that we can do is to wait.

Theres only one coin in this section, Bitcoin and the rest are trash.   Views for other coins would be a different section of the forum but many dont rate even holding any of the alternatives.

We're starting the year on a 4 day run under the 200 day average.  It would seem to be negative and declining (the 200 DMA itself rising is some clue though), but I will give the benefit of the doubt and say we are just resting some and price direction is not yet decided definitively just yet.   A proper break up or down will probably be more dramatic and forthcoming rather then already in process exactly.

People are still expecting something from Bitcoin this time if it's going to continue the bullish, although it's in a stable state bouncing back and forth to 47k to 51k. I hope next week or month we'll see a huge difference between the price.

Maybe there's no difference, but yet people tend to look for the next big hype and ride it all along. Anyhow, we all know that Bitcoin remains the dominant coin and will do in the next 10 years or so. Although it was really a disappointment to see the early predictions of $100,000 not being hit, I guess the room is still big enough though for us to still hit it sometime in the future. For now, let's hope that the price can get over $50,000 in the first week of this year as usually the first week of January was very good for us.

True, and as long as bitcoin goes up in 2022 the rest of the market will look very strong and could reach another all time high specially top and solid altcoins. But if we are in for a rude awakening, like the market really turns into a bearish one, then the rest of the market are going to suffer huge losses including bitcoin. So much better to be really not expecting big this year and at the same time prepare for the worst. And maybe it's time to forget about the 6 digits for bitcoin because it will be a difficult road.

I think we will know how fate for the next year depending on how the next 2 weeks go. As long as the stock markets are rallying and the taping and fed rates news is all priced in then I can see Bitcoin perform well into the 2022.

However with what is going on with Omicron and there being more possible shutdowns it doesn’t look good. Since many industries might suffer again and it will lead to more messes like supply side shortages. Currently most places the cases are hitting new highs and there are lockdowns which are happening.

I wish a happy year full of profits to all speculators, for me my strategy will not change in 2022 I expect a new ATH for Bitcoin at the beginning of this year and then the Altcoin season will start, I can’t give a specific timing because this is difficult but it may be in the first quarter of the new year, Some are predicting a bear market this year but I like to be optimistic and expect the best and I think 2022 will be better than 2021 for the cryptocurrency market.

this is mostly the problem that's why we hardly get a Good return because we cannot find when to rightful buy and when to sell.

Well buying Low and selling high is mostly applicable in Altcoins because this is where fast moving currency belongs not like in Bitcoin that mostly took long time before pumping high.

A great progress again for sure because indeed every year there's always a new record for various crypto in the market especially when it comes bitcoin so expect that there will be another ATH again. Just imagine how bitcoin achieved 2 all time high value year 2021. So its not surprising that 2022 will be the best year as well since most analyst still believe that 100k is possible.

Actually here, we will have another shutdown/quarantine because of the spread of Omicron, it will start on Monday so almost all shops, stores and restaurant are going to be close because of lockdowns with some guidelines, traditional based casinos are going to be 100% close though. So it will be a rough at the start of the year and I'm guessing that it will also be like that in crypto. And I doubt that we will even see a new all time high this year.

To find out a new ATH requires mature analysts and conduct previous studies, currently there are many projects available and make us have the choice to start investing. Making investment patterns, strategies and methods requires knowledge to make it easier for us to learn one of the projects we want to invest in, strategies can be made in two groups, long term or short term, depending on the level of success of the coin, with strategy, our investment will yield good returns.
