Hi, I would like to have information on the bitcoin wallet.

In 2010 out of curiosity, I bought 5 euros of bitcoin, which he has never used and which I also forgot I have.

Now I see that bitcoin has appreciated a lot, and I would like to find my bitcoin purchase again. I ask for this, what were the existing bitcoin wallets in 2010.

I remember my e-mails that I have for a long time and in those years, but I should go to attempts with passwords, but first of all, I should go back to which site I have was able to buy bitcoin in 2010.

Based on this information, could there be any clues to my bitcoin wallet?

Whichever site you bought from is unlikely to be around anymore.

What you're looking for is most likely a file called "wallet.dat" or (less likely) a 51-character string starting with "5". You could try searching through any HDDs, USB sticks, etc. where you may have stored it although if you believe you may have deleted it make sure not to increase the risk of overwriting the file by working on copies.

Watch out for potential scammers messaging you, don't send them anything.

Yea definitely look for the wallet.dat file for now; the wallet's password would be useless without the wallet.dat file in the first place. 2010 is still so early that as far as I know the de facto wallet software was still Bitcoin Core.

Not sure what the UI looks like exactly back then, but it should at least look really similar.

And the client was called Bitcoin-Qt.

Can you remember anything from those days? For example, do you remember downloading a software called Bitcoin QT where you were required to save a wallet file to recover your coins? Or were your coins stored on an exchange? Back in 2010, Mt. Gox was still around. Bitcoinmarket.com was also launched at some point in 2010. Do any of those sound familiar?

If you think the coins might have been stored on an exchange, search the emails you used back in those days for terms such as "exchange" "crypto", "bitcoin" to see the oldest results that pop up.

Just because of this email address that you have said, I was thinking and have doubt that it wasn't a hardware wallet or noncustodial wallet, probably it was an e-wallet like MyBitcoin.com and it was shut down in 2011.  There are too many exchanges and crypto wallet that has been shut down since 2010 maybe I think that wallet isn't longer accessible by now.

If you remember your email address correctly and have access to it, just type on the research bar something like "Bitcoin wallet" or "Bitcoin" it could be the confirmation message was till there are you have a clue what Bitcoin wallet it is, it might there since your email address and Bitcoin wallet has been associated before.

Sorry to say, but most likely it will be difficult to recover your Bitcoin. Big chances that you used Bitcoin core / QT wallet. So to recover the fund you should have wallet file, for wallet file you should have your device. So now time to look for the device you used for storing Bitcoin. And then not sure whether the file is there or you clean it out somehow. I am not sure if there were any trusted Web wallets in 2010. However, don't give up and don't lose hope. Just try to find the clue.

It's hard to make a guess on which site you probably bought your bitcoin as there are plenty of online crypto wallets or sites in the past that maybe non-existent anymore now. Maybe check your email and go through the messages receive so you'll get an idea.

So if we really are talking of 2010 purchase ( considering you'll recover your btc), let's use this estimate of price.

That would be 5 euros convered to usd, round off to $6.. so 6$ /$0.0008 per btc, that's a whopping 7,500 BTC... so man you are so rich if you'll recover that BTC. Good luck!
