I think that while you are right hype has a huge effect on people, even if they know that those coins have no future and that people will eventually realize those coins are worthless and will see little adoption, they will still see in those coins an opportunity to make money with them, and as that is what most people want more than anything then I expect the hype for metaverse coins to continue for a long time, especially if at some point during the next months the price of bitcoin begins to grow up again.

We can't really know for sure right now. I have to say Axie is a metaverse, I know that it doesn't look like one when you think about the game but it is, and the land feature is coming, so we know that it is a big name. We know decentraland and sandbox as well. So, if the question is which ones are the big ones for right now? Then those three definitely takes the cake and there is no question about it.

However metaverse is a difficult thing to achieve, it could become a very much like a fake investment stuff, one person creates something, sells it to himself for 5 million, and then make it look like it is valuable, that is what is going on in NFT market and metaverse is involved with it. So, we can't know the future, we hope for the best but we can't really make a deduction if those three will stay at the top or not, we just assume it for now.

It's basic because it's the most popular NFT game. But we don't know if it can still stand out amongst the others when the market is getting through the bear.

Metaverse coins are no doubt great investment looking at the success surrounding the coin last year.
But for me, the first reason why they are standing out presently is because it is till a new domain and people love new thing and they are eager to explore. Other than this, honestly I could not figure out any other valid reason for the hype about metaverse coins.

Moreover, such baseless hypes usually in cryptocurrency space will not sustain regardless of how many coins are involving in that. So, we need to be more careful while dealing with new hype based investments. Presently I am holding SOLANA alone.
