I think only Polygon and AVAX have potential like ETH from the list of coins you mentioned because so far if we look at these two coins have gained high popularity in the market and also have a large trading volume, and on the other hand Polygon and AVAX also have the capability faster in making transactions.

Terra maybe too, if I judge the amount of news I can read about them, but I don't think Moonriver even in name has anything close to challenging. Avax and Polygon no longer disputed for now, but if ETH 2.0 comes out and solves the gas problem I don't know if people will continue to complicate themselves with using matic and avax.

I do not know if I heard terra before but I am sure that this is the first time I hear moonriver. We are not familiar with the two of them but maybe they also like eth because why would OP adds them in the selection?

For now, people will pick polygon and avalanche because they are older and popular but when the time comes that they will get congested heavily like eth, people will start looking again for alternatives and maybe that is the time that terra and moonriver will get noticed. What I am trying to say here is that maybe all of them have a potential like etherium, so maybe its fine if we can invest a portion on them as early as possible before they get to explode.

I don't agree with you at all. Of course, Polygon and AVAX have a lot of potential and it is possible that they will achieve a very high level of adoption in the future, but in my opinion Terra is the clear favorite of the speed of development. I don't know if any of the projects mentioned by OP will ever reach the Ethereum level, but in my opinion Terra has the best chance.

Pologon and Avalanche of your list had a good potential over the other coins. Now the bear had raised up again and again.So it's better to inverse on trusted coin, then trying some gambling stakes. Gambling stakes mean, some people inverse on the random coin instead on repeated trusted coins. Polygon based on the option because of many adoption already but if we are going to include SOL in the option, I think this has a good chance of taking over ETH, they both have the potential its just that it will always take time and a good hype in order to replace ETH. The only problem with ETH are the fees and the speed of transactions, if they address this properly they might remain on top and become the best option again.

Among the listed altcoins my pick is polygon. Often the blockchain keeps adding more ventures to its partner list. I thought that those projects have the same potential like ethereum and i personally didn't like moonriver. Polygon was a second layer solution and this is not comparable with those first combined with second layer solution. Avalanche is the most potential from the list caused by this is also having its main net but it's also have alternative network which fully compliant with ethereum EVM.

I will pick avalanche from the list as the most potential blockchain to be a competitor to the ethereum.

Litecoin and polygon dying ? is that a joke or what. A drop in the price does not mean that a coin died already but I can only count it as a dead coin once there is no more value in it. Matic and ltc are dropping now but is there a coin that didnt dump during this bear season?

LTC is an old coin but I cant mix it up with matic because both have different use cases. Matic can be called the next eth and theres bsc too or bnb. What about the rabbit coin? BNB is a major potential competitor that has the potential to topple ethereum.  One of their upcoming innovations is to rename the Binance smart chain to BNB smartchain and create a link with BNB as a governance token, One DAO that can be extended.  I think this is a combination with great potential to build a really big ecosystem.  There is still a lot of real work that ETH has to perfect and prove in the final stages of eth 2.0.  And that could be an opportunity for BNB

I think Avalanche has the potential to be next Ethereum but it might take long time to be immediate competitor of ETH. Although SOLANA is not mentioned  in your list but the way its team is putting in hard work to make it a leading chain of crypto space, it can give tough time to Ethereum in coming months. Though its network still faces some technical issues during the congestion which team will certainly resolve soon and once all these issues are resolved, we will not only see it breaking previous ATH but also going much beyond it. BNB and matic act as alternative blockchain for ethereum and it's not competing with ethereum caused by BNB and matic blockchains being made as L2 ethereum. that's different with avalanche which already developed the first layer blockchain to be the real competitor for ethereum. I think that in this case you can't compare BNB and Matic caused by people are seeing both as alternative blockchain to avoid the non sense fees with ethereum blockchain. It doens't have ethereum - like potential. alt blockchain will always become the second choice.

considering the total amount of value locked in this platform has grown quite significantly in these recent days, i’m sure that avalanche could grow really big in the future, so many of people have finally see the potential in it that’s already caused them in making decision in investing further in that platform.

I think Polygon as good investment than other your listed coin, all your listed coin have own network and each of them have dapp exchange right now but as Polygon was been success last few years. I think Polygon still have lower price and give an easy way for investor buy this coin just still have weakness from other list on Polygon network still not launching launchpad on their dapp, for Avalanche ever make new IDO and almost of their IDO coin success sold to public and price pump but still waiting with Polygon when launching new IDO coin for their network how to make Polygon coin price will up.
