Personally my response to Meta isn't too keen to go deeper. Maybe because this very sophisticated world has brought Facebook to a more imaginary direction. It is undeniable that some tokens have entered the world of METAVERSE. And for me personally for now just investing in those cryptos. That too is based on the results of a fairly long election. I did some simple analysis and decided to allocate a few percent in Metaverse based tokens.

For Metaverse, it seems like getting hyped up a lot apart from the booming of NFTs right now. Though so far, I am still not interested into it. Metaverse might be like just NFTs that would be trendy in few months and just die down.

I dont think allocating more money makes any sense, true you might get some temporary profits but very soon some or the other hype will start to decline. The hyps is way more than actual demand from mainstream angles or market. But the bagholders and promoters of such projects are the only ones making a whole lot of noise on social media.

The whole "NFT is art" thing is way far from mainstream and this should not be compared to the early days of bitcoin, its ideals were different and it's creator did not ask people to buy their coin.

If you care about the tech well and good, but you might end up with your hands burnt just like in the ICO craze most investors did. It is a wiser decision to buy BTC as it is in a bear trend currently.

I think it's too soon to decide on the metaverse project that exists now. We don't know there might come a new metaverse project that collaborates with a giant project and is successful with its metaverse concept. I'm sure now

I still think Metaverse is 10% real and 90% hot steaming air. Zuckerberg doesn't have a good handle on it yet. No one does and crypto being crypto, is taking the hype to an all time high. Though I think in the future, some things would pop out of it but not now

At some point in the future something like the metaverse is without a doubt going to be a reality, after all if people are willing to spend so much time in the Internet when we are only interacting in an indirect way through text and images, there is no doubt that something as immersive as the metaverse will enjoy wide adoption among the population.

However I also think we are too early for something like this to become practical and as seamless as people are imagining, so I think that the hype will be the principal motor that will impulse those coins during the next year, and only once it becomes obvious that their goals will not be realized then we will begin to see the bubble of the metaverse losing some steam.

I agree with you. Virtual life is not true.
However, the pandemic that surrounds us means that we are forced to stay at home. Human interactions are still being limited. Everything indicates that the metaverse will be the solution not to get infected directly. That's why this industry is growing so fast. Hopefully this is just a temporary period.

There is going to be a zillion of these coins that come out.  I'd suggest instead of trying to hit a homerun just wait until the dust settles and put your money into the couple that will actually make it out of the mess.  Too easy to lose money by trying to guess which one is better than the next.  Not the fun answer but probably the best avenue to take.

I will say be very careful with all the meta hype and shout I mean anything can be tag meta and still have serious dumps So basically do your analysis and find out whats the best use case for that project and the amount of users probability and make your guess from there

Metaverse projects are working hard to give their community the ideal word and some gain big attention of community also. In 2023 every crypto user will have own land on meta.

Maybe Metaverse is the future, but it still needs to develop to have a better future. Meta can be bigger but as I said before, it needs more things to prepare and introduce to many people because it is a transition from the existing way that people already did into something that will look different than what they used before. It will not be the same as their experience before and that can change their life into a digital life so we still need to wait until it is ready to use globally.

Not because FB change his name to Meta does it mean that it is the one who started the trend, metaverse were already started to hype before the facebook changed its name. As you can see people see that metaverse is the next big thing especially in technology and a big company like facebook will be onto it and yes the Metaverse will be the next hype and will be a good project in the future.

There are a lot whose speaking of it but only riding they hype and not really knowing the idea behind it.

That's because people want quick fixes to wealth and don't really care about the process. Come to think of it, anyway, it's hype that drives projects to get traction and price increase but utility that sustains that hype. Any projects with hype but no utility will expectedly crash after a short while.

So those projects that are in the metaverse will likely dominate the market in few months.

When DeFi came first it was called the future, similarly when ICOs came first people though ICOs to be the future of raising money.

But the point remained same, all these are hype-machined money grab methods devised in a manner to lure the weak hands to put in their money without any legal consequences and then lose that money to the ones running these schemes.

Now that a social media renamed itself, there is a huge buzz around metaverse, but people have only been juggling its meaning from one to another only to fit their own gains and peddle their own shit.

To me, it is just another hype. I will continue buying bitcoin and turn a blind eye to these coins.

Defi is not just hyped, lots of people as i understand are using the decentralized finance platform to lend, borrow and do other stuff related to it, so i wouldn't consider them as hype only, same thing with ico, a lot of good project were born out of ico which are among top 10 in cmc, that most dev no longer raise funds through ico doesn't mean it didn't serve the purpose as at then, btc was once considered a hype and just a bubble that will burst anytime, nobody know what will happen in future,
i believe some metervase projects where already in the market before facebook made their announcement,   the point is, there is always a beginning, it is true not all of this different trend will succeed but it is possible some of them will make it and be around as long as people uses this services.

Apart from that all the steps taken by Mark Zuckerberg are really impressive,
he can think far into the future and even though it takes a long time to realize it,
Technological developments can be said to be very fast and we will see what will happen in the future

Expansion of metaverse will expand the future of the global economy. It has endless possibilities and in the future people will interact with each other digitally. This will be immersive for humans and their personal life. But it will only be possible if humans could understand and adapt it easily. Many companies like Facebook have started building an ecosystem friendly for all players but it takes time and it is the future.
