You have to realize that Mark has talked about many things before and never really made any of that into reality. Doesn't mean that whatever facebook is cooking in the metaverse will not be true, it could very well happen and they could make a lot of profits by building their own metaverse, but that doesn't have to happen any time soon.

It seems like there will be no different. The metaverse in the crypto will be also become centralized. Remember that the blockchain act as a way to develop the economic in the metaverse but it will be centralized as it will be fully controlled by the developers. It will not stand alone like bitcoin or any other centralized cryptocurrency. The blockchain itself will be playing only to secure the NFT assets that will be used in the metaverse ecosystem but im sure that facebook will not be using blockchain for this and facebook will have another solution for this but it will remain centralized.

It's still not that popular at the moment because what's going viral right now is NFT not Meta even though Meta is being developed and it will be very possible to advance in this year as well as next year as well.
But for now I don't see a bright future for meta and the like because it's not fully developed yet.

When people talk about meta it always connected to NFT because it probably NFT that will be used as a tradable thing in the metaverse, but i doubt it will come in near future because if the metaverse want to connect each other between platforms, means it will need a super mega server integrated all around the world and it's not going to happen soon.

Yes I do believe also that the future of metaverse is so bright and speaking of metaverse it is not only limited to Meta which is the feature that Mark Zuckerburg are proposed to us last year. I can't agree if you are saying blockchain or protocol just conception coz metaverse were also using these protocols. How can you say that just a conception? this is a non sense thing. Many dapps are also using the protocol.
There are lots of good investment in the meta. You can pick one of from these project. MANA, SAND, BLOK. We didn't need one stop metaverse. The only thing that we need if all of these metaverse need to comply from one to the each other and any NFT asset can be used in any metaverse or there was any version for any NFT in these metaverse and the users didn't even need to switch from one to the another NFTs.
