[ANN] Working on a Cold storage wallet

Hi community, Bitcoin enthusiasts and crypto collectors!

I'm working on a Bitcoin Hardware wallet since last June. Thematically it combines the halvings with the lightning network.

It's nearly completely handmade and will be limited to 21 pieces.

Release date will be around end of 2022 cause every wallet will take an estimated 30 hours of work.

Hi fam, here are some pics from the Itokawa wallet i`m working on since summer 2021. Pouring, hardening, forming and grinding 25% of the silver balls again costs pretty much time, but it´s worth. I poured 7 pieces to this basic stadium without engraving anything. The vacuum box helps me a lot to keep quality on best level.


The wooden box with the front glass will be bleached in Bitcoin orange Pantone 144


I added a few pics and will keep you updated. Hopefully i will have done a prototype until August.

what are the hardware components of this wallet? or is it more of a cold storage wallet with no electronic pieces?

Hi Mopar, it`s a Hardwarewallet with 4 half silver balls symbolizing the 4 halvings. All together they weight 3.125 ozt fine silver, (the coming mining reward).  I poured the lighting symbol and the silver balls into resin and will also put the Holosticker on the back under 2 to 2.5mm resin to make the whole thing "bullet proof"

Any scratch to remove the Holo will be visible. So basically you have to destroy 30 hours of work to get into the wallet


This is still an early stage development. Corners will be rounded, the wallet needs to be engraved and the resin has to be grinded....many, many, many hours in the basement to go

maybe can explain what the hardware features are? in all the pics I dont see anything hardware related. is it NFC?

Hey Mopar, it's a pure cold storage wallet of course. My fault above🙈

As someone posted a Video here some time ago, showing compromized Holograms i decided to pour another security layer to cover the Holo. I like the idea to leave the funds forever on a piece of Art and pass it on to the next generation😌

Looks cool, now you could still illuminate it from the wooden frame indirectly with LEDs, that would certainly look mega cool.
