I am a former employee who worked in a private bank in a remote area of ​​my country.
when some friends started introducing crypto, especially bitcoin, I was the one who was the most against it because apart from being against the work system I was doing, it also had an impact on the quality of banks in my area.

Did you have any specific reason why you didn't like it before though? I find a lot of people who are against aren't really against Bitcoin, and what it stands for instead they're afraid of adopting a new system which in a lot of ways is quite a bit different to what they're used too. Plus, is probably more complex to learn, and the idea of being your own bank isn't exactly for everyone.

Quite a lot of Bitcoin users are here because they've been shafted or at least unhappy with our their bank has handled a certain situation. I'm not exactly here because of that, but it contributed to me believing in Bitcoin after having a few issues with banks. Honestly, the major issues I had with banks is they didn't like purchasing or withdrawing Bitcoin, which I felt was a breach of my freedom considering its suppose to be my money.

But what if you were not disappointed with the bank system? What if the bank didn't take your finances for reasons you didn't understand? I am asking these questions because one of the main reasons why people are still with fiat is that they don't feel troubled with it. They didn't experience any significant inconvenience with it. Do we have to go through a bad experience first before taking a closer look at the alternative?

Anyway, the switch from bank to Bitcoin is understandable in your case, but why leave the job altogether? Bitcoin is not a source of income I suppose, or at least not a stable one.

Yes, that is why people hate and do not want to invest in bitcoin.

Although, I am sorry to read that you went through some adversity with your financial security before you came upon bitcoin.

No clear reason why crypto or btcoin is hated? if the financial authorities hate it so much it may be true, because it is independent and also does not require intervention from the financial authorities.

Individuals won't hate it because those who don't know their bitcoins won't care because it's not in it and those who suffer losses will probably hate it.
and if they are profitable they will be happy and while those who have never invested or traded in crypto or bitcoin and hate it i don't care.

I am a person who has an idealistic nature by nature, and because of this trait when I am at a point where I have fiat and the bank is behind me, I feel very comfortable (at that time).

although in perspective this is true but actually this is something wrong in my opinion
because what I believe until now there is nothing easy in investing and there is always a risk in it that's why when I say bitcoin is the easiest thing to get money I don't really agree with that because, while being here (1 year) it is not easy to understanding how the system is in bitcoin, let alone to analyze it, requires a continuous process in my opinion.
As for the problems that can be handled by bitcoin but cannot be handled by banks, the clearest thing so far that I have encountered is the ease of transactions because indeed with the current p2p system I feel very comfortable with it even though I don't know who the person is (anonymity) but there is no doubt even in the existing and clear transactions without any intermediaries in it so that we can arrange as we want

To be clear bitcoin is not against the banking system. In fact it is jut an additional option for those who need the utilities that bitcoin provides as the only decentralized censorship resistant global currency. Otherwise the banking system will continue working as before whether it was corrupt or not.

In my experience most people who ignore bitcoin or go as far as hating it are two categories. First are those who are secretly accumulating bitcoin so they spread FUD to discourage others from buying this scarce currency and increase its price and second are those naive people who believed in the FUD they have been reading for years.

Isn't it because they just simply don't understand it? I mean, most people have egged Bitcoin as something to replace fiat and banks which is, in the perspective of someone who doesn't use crypto, is in general saying that it's going to destroy the system and replace it. Who would like that no? Bitcoin was never made to replace fiat or banks, it was just there as an additional option (and one that is very welcomed by a lot of people). It's never going to hurt/damage anyone on its own since it's just a medium.

That’s the thing, people who haven’t studied bitcoin yet often just don’t have any idea what it is and how it works. I had so many friends , (often many fellow financial advisor buddies) who would tell me hoe stupid I was for investing and being interested in it. Now today, most of them own it and have transacted with it. I think this will only pick up over time as more people start to realize the truth, which is inevitable.

As in they aren't against Bitcoin, and what it stands for i.e a lot of people I've come across think Bitcoin is bad because they don't know a lot about it or fear making the switch. Rather than, actually understanding what Bitcoin is, and therefore how to use it. Its a common reaction, and once they learn a little bit about Bitcoin then they usually somewhat come to terms with it.

For example, a lot of people don't understand "Bitcoin not being backed by anything" or "its just fake money", and a lot of people think Bitcoin can't be exchanged to this day. Its infuriating for us that are into Bitcoin, but that's what a lot of people think about Bitcoin on the outside. Thus, they don't even entertain the idea of learning about Bitcoin because its too complex for them, and therefore instead of actually having any real reason why they are against Bitcoin, its simply because they haven't bothered to put in the time, and effort it requires to learn it.

I think at the end of the day it's just lack of education. The lack of education stirs up the fake rumors and make people believe that anything new, anything non traditional is going to be disappointing, most of the people also hate the fact that now the prices are too high to make an investment so therefore they try and invest in other Altcoins, then they end up following people like Elon Musk and sometimes end up getting scammed as well.

I don't think that anyone would be against bitcoins if they would own it, if someone is seeing constant growth and profits I don't think they would be against anything for that matters. It's all about non traditional forms of investments now, that's what's gonna get everyone out of the economic collapse, that's long due, because of the pandemic.
