That amount of bitcoin is not huge, but you can use it to start a small online business; it is not huge, but it would be a great start. However, the amount of bitcoin is dependent on the country; for example, in her country, 0.01 bitcoin is equivalent to one month's salary; therefore, we should just get used to it by using it as a capital and profiting from it. Only business has the ability to make you wealthy, so if you are fortunate and your small business becomes well-known, it may be able to make you wealthy solely on the basis of your 0.01 btc investment.

If I only took that "a decade ago" chance to buy one coin, I can't imagine where I am right now, but meh. Seems like I am putting too much attention to price making me slowly regret and slowly try to panic buy lol. .01 BTC is just kind of the monthly of some people here in my country, so meh it's not your "when lambo" moment to think about.

Even if bitcoin reaches the dream price of 1 million dollars yet this bitcoin will valued 10,000 USD in which still low to be considered as rich people.so meaning 0.01 bitcoin will never make a person rich even if bitcoin take 10 million as this will increase to 100k and still not that high.so i think the amount to be considered as good for the future is at least 0.1 bitcoin or more than this .
While $10.000 is a decent amount of money, it's far from making rich or well-off. In most developed countries, it's less than a year's salary. Pretty optimistic/unrealistic to believe that Bitcoin would reach 1 million dollars though, I wonder how many people actually think that.

There's no point, we might say the exact same thing in 10 years from now, just do your best and try to accumulate as much Bitcoin as you can, without getting too frustrated about it.

If you bought bitcoin at that time of not getting into the 3k USD i guess there's a chance like a year below 2015 currently the price of the 0.01 is just almost 100$ and still you can manage that money to make earning like joining the ride of the market volatility. How do you define the word rich? like tons of assets or a millionaire? if that so 0.01 btc is not made you rich but if you value too much the bitcoin it becomes subjective to become rich on the perspective.

How long is this going to take ? Ten years ? Twenty years ?
Bitcoin price will sure move to a level above 100$ but still not certain about when it'll be, even those that has a good understanding prediction insight find it totally difficult to predict.
And also, humans can never be satisfied with the amount of Bitcoin they're in possession off.

When I first bought bitcoin, .1 was 20 dollars. Now take a look at what .1 is. Now there’s a difference between rich if you live in say Thailand versus if you live in say the United States. I think bitcoin has a lot of room to run, but I think it’s going to take a lot of time to get to the point of .1 making any of us rich. I sure hope so! lol

I don't think it's about how much you have btc especially in this context.

but how do you make a little money grow into a lot, how money works for us. no matter how much you have btc or money if you are wasteful it will run out too.

rich man, money works for him
poor people work for money.

If in the future, bitcoin will become the worlds only legal digital currency as a replacement to fiat and allowed to use in all transactions in every country then 0.01 btc will make you a multi-millionaire in the future. It will be the most scarce asset by then, but the question is, Is this really possible? Well nobody knows, I dont know if we are still alive the moment it will happen.

if you look at the past 10 years if you buy bitcoin at 10 $ I think yes.
Legendary account right? at least you read the OP ?

Where did you get the Idea of the dollar equivalent ? OP is asking at least the Bitcoin amount and not the value in Dollar so you are irrelevant here.

Quote
I was rich if I sold bitcoin at 60k$ yesterday, but human nature never feels fast and the ambition to have bitcoin is very high, so no matter how many bitcoins you have,
It is not human nature but your greediness lol . that's why you decide not to sell.

Quote
and no matter how much bitcoin you will never be satisfied. at a certain price,
and if we buy bitcoin today it might be said to be a fool to buy bitcoin at a price of 45k $ but let's see in the next 4 years bitcoin will definitely provide the same value if we buy bitcoin today as we bought bitcoin in 10 years ago
there is no satisfaction asked above , OP is asking if you can be rich with 0.01 bitcoin you are just making this thread trashy lol.

maybe yes and maybe no. because if measured in terms of price movements it will likely look so instant to get rich with just 0.01 BTC for the next few years if you don't have it.
because when you have it, I'm sure you will also be emotionally disturbed and uncomfortable with very volatile prices and you can't use it as a basis for getting rich.
the most stable position in holding bitcoin for the purpose of getting rich is to increase the amount based on the trades you make to increase its value, and this is to make you rich by starting with 0.01 BTC.

To completely replace Fiat is still very unlikely for now or in the next few years. We all know how the characteristics of bitcoin. Easy to manipulate with high volatility and fluctuating prices. Some countries have allowed the use of bitcoin as a means of payment, but it does not replace Fiat, only as an optional payment. It is still very difficult to be accepted by all countries, each country has its own regulations. In fact there are many pros and cons about using bitcoin. Bitcoin really made rich for those who bought in the past and hold it to this day, in fact they have become multi millionaires without having to wait for bitcoin to be accepted by all countries as a replacement for Fiat. Bitcoin's journey is still very long, this is only the beginning.

I don't think bitcoin can replace fiat currency. Seeing now that there are many who forbid and even deflate bitcoin. Although some have started to adopt bitcoin, but it is not easy to achieve what you say. It's not impossible, but it's hard to make it happen.
you have the right opinion. It is not impossible for bitcoin, but difficult to realize bitcoin as a fiat replacement. because of the volatile nature of bitcoin and easy to manipulate.
Many rich people were born from bitcoin. 0.01 BTC is quite enough for trading capital, but it will not make you rich that easily, even if you have 1 BTC it is not necessarily a guarantee of getting rich. there will be a process that must be passed and an effort to be able to develop the capital.

No, not really. If you were talking about its future value then it's rather unknown, since well, it's in the future. I guess the only advantage of buying BTC that can be seen right now is that, well, it's not fiat. It's a lot better than hodling it as fiat honestly if it was extra money you wouldn't exactly use it immediately. Possible future advantages include the price increase therefore the value of the amount you hold would increase (or decrease) in USD, avoiding the inflation of fiat, those are the ones on the top of my head but there's probably a bunch more really.

That's also my point of view. Not only do I find it easier to hold, similar to a savings account, but also I'm protecting my money from inflation. On top of that, it's an income that I haven't declared, in order to avoid taxation, at least for now. Thus, the advantages of buying and owning Bitcoin are several, not only as an asset, but also as a mean of payment.

Numerous years ago, I used to use Bitcoin for payments, which is something I'm kind of regretting now, but it was fast, efficient and most importantly, anonymous.

What do you think? Is it really possible to become rich with 0.01 BTC in the future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

Maybe, that can help ...

... I soon realized that I should have been investing in Bitcoin all along. Key word: investing.

Congratulations. You mastered the crypto world, part 1.

I felt the urgent need to acquire one full Bitcoin, and I did.

I own ... BTC = I mean ...

1.00 BTC = There are 21 million people on earth
0.10 BTC = There are 210 million people on earth
0.01 BTC = There are 2.1 billion people on earth

I've read a few articles on the web which indicated you could get rich with just 0.01 BTC. At first, it seemed crazy to me considering that Bitcoin is still below $1m. But then it started to make sense after knowing that the pioneer cryptocurrency was designed with deflation in mind. Each halving had a positive effect in BTC's price, so one would guess the next one will lead us to a BTC worth more than $100k. To become a millionaire with 0.01 BTC, the price of one Bitcoin must be $100m. Prices are still volatile, so I'm having my doubts whenever I'd really become rich with just 0.01 BTC or not.

What do you think? Is it really possible to become rich with 0.01 BTC in the future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

I'm not completely sure that the price for 1btc will reach $1mn and the price tag of $100m is already something not real. if bitcoin were accepted as a form of payment all over the world, perhaps 0.01 btc would bring a huge income, but if you really look at it, it is unlikely that something will turn out.

the answer to that question and simply never. we have to be realistic the price of bitocin will not increase infinitively, has limit because there will be competition, people will prefer other altcoins that are better than bitcoin. so we have to be realistic about this. there are people who kid themselves thinking that the price of bitcoin will increase a lot to the point of worth a million dollars

With bitcoin, there is no inflation  and it is obvious that as the demand of bitcoin increases, the price of bitcoin will also increase. But this is not the only factor for bitcoin price increase. Since the supply of bitcoin is limited, there are many occasions where some bitcoin are lost forever and sometimes people forget/lost their private keys, some may die without telling the private keys to anyone. All these things together will make bitcoin very expensive beyond out thinking.

the answer to that question and simply never. we have to be realistic the price of bitocin will not increase infinitively, has limit because there will be competition, people will prefer other altcoins that are better than bitcoin. so we have to be realistic about this. there are people who kid themselves thinking that the price of bitcoin will increase a lot to the point of worth a million dollars
it is too large a number. of course, that would be something bad for the growth of crypto. I don't know how much improvement there should be. but getting rich with such a small amount, for now, would of course raise quite a troubling question.

BIG WINNER!

~

I'm not completely sure that the price for 1btc will reach $1mn and the price tag of $100m is already something not real. if bitcoin were accepted as a form of payment all over the world, perhaps 0.01 btc would bring a huge income, but if you really look at it, it is unlikely that something will turn out.
10 years ago if you have ever looked, many people never believed the price of Bitcoin would hit $50k, in fact Bitcoin has crossed $60k

it may take a long time and also 70% of the world's population for Bitcoin to touch $1 million, but I'm sure this will happen in the next few decades

The main question was this "Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich?" I personally don't believe so even if Bitcoin were to reach $1m, 0.01BTC isn't enough to make you rich even in some third world country however, you cannot really conclude like you did that you know for certain how much Bitcoins price will not reach because if you were asked this question 10 years ago, I believe you would have said that Bitcoin will never get to $68k like the guy in this Post and if for sure people will prefer other Alts to Bitcoin.
