Today is exactly where I have to announce to all of you that I have collected 500+ merit as one of the conditions to become a hero member but I have to wait until tomorrow because the number of activities is not enough Reached.

Really this is an amazing journey I have taken since I decided to contribute to forums and users by improving the quality of posts and other useful things. This achievement is a journey that requires a long process, day, month and even more than two years since I joined the forum. Improving the quality of posts is an effort that I must make to reach this point and maintain consistency is a suggestion that I must do.

On this occasion I would like to thank all members of the forum who have made many contributions to my achievements, especially those on the local Indonesian board. I know that without you, I would never reach this point. Of course, I really want to mention your names one by one as proof that you have contributed to me so far, but DdmrDdmr has given me the ease to say your names all in this picture.

In essence, merit is not something that is impossible to obtain if you can develop the quality and ability to make constructive, informative, and quality posts. Once again, I thank you all and truly this is my achievement that I must celebrate in the last 2 years since I was here.

I hope this doesn't count as a celebration of what I've accomplished during my travel on the forum. This is my first 1000 post since I registered an account. I know this isn't something to celebrate, but for me it's a great start to keep going and growing.

So far I am one of the many users from the local who have been successfully promoted to hero member some time ago because they reached the 500 merit and are now trying to keep fighting toward Legendary member. I know that I still have a lot to achieve and develop in the future and one of them is my interest in bitcoin because bitcoin is the reason why I am here. This is a challenge that I have to solve well although I have to do it consistently and gradually.

1000 post, 540 merit is a sign that I can do much better in the future. I have a long way to go and I will not give up on getting there. I really hope that I can always help anyone with the positive contribution I have to the forum and its user. As long as it's good, I'll do it. Thank you community, you have taught me many valuable lesson to this day.

Really shows that hard work really results incredible things, i started ahead of you, but you really give a lot of effort to reach this far, this tells me that i really need to put extra effort in what i do, specially now that i can give more time in the forum because of the pandemic, good luck and may you give hope to those who want's to get to that level hoping to see more of your post.

BITCOIN4X - From Beginner to Legendary in 4 years

I'm happy to be with you all on the bitcointalk.org forum from march 2018 to now and whenever. Now we are at the end of 2021 which will enter 2022 which is only 2 days from now, meaning I will be 4 years old in March 2022 and that is good for me.

Today I just want to say that I haven't completely failed to reach Legendary rank in 4 years as I still have at least a few months before March 18, 2022 to get this amount of lost merit. I've managed to get 861 merit from 2018 to the end of 2021, so I only need to get another 139 merit to reach Legendary because my activity count has already been reached.

Of course I thank everyone who has supported me all this time, I am so grateful to have you all here. This is the strongest community I have come across in my online life. Here are some forum stats I have from 2018 till now. Glad to share my experience and knowledge with you. Happy new year to you all (soon).

I just saw that you are only 25 days older than me. But the spring of 2018 became a good guide for us, and together we came to this forum. You lack activity merits since you should have been at Legend rank for a long time. But I'm sure it will come very soon.
Our sources are quite generous people. Maybe you shouldn't hesitate and ask them to pay deeper attention to your posts. I saw how generously Ratimov rewards.

Really, I never directly asked him to pay attention to my post because I thought it would annoy him. It is true that Ratimov is a generous merit source but but I don't want to bother him. I will not beg, let them assess more closely how the quality of the posts that I have. So far, your journey on the forum has been pretty good. Precisely on April 7, 2020 you have reached the rank of Hero Member. Being able to be promoted to a higher rank is a good achievement. To reach Legendary rank it takes another 500 merits "of calculated from Hero rank". Now that you are almost there it takes another 59 minutes to enjoy the highest rank.

Efforts to improve the quality of posts and expand knowledge in forums are clear evidence that you can enjoy every rank you achieve "promote to the next rank" even though it's a bit late.

I believe, it's never too late to reach a new rank, as long as you want to try sooner or later you will reap the results of the efforts you pioneered.
Bonus merit from few threads that you make will be a beautiful journey that is hard to forget. I hope this thread can be seen by other users whose rankings are still low, so that it can trigger their enthusiasm to make constructive, informative and quality posts so that they will also get a chance to move up to the next rank.

Here I want to congratulate you on the efforts you have made so far. I know you haven't been promoted to the highest rank "Legendary". But I'm sure you'll get there in the near future.

BITCOIN4X, you will soon get that Legendary rank. I think it will never be difficult for you to achieve it in the next month or so. Currently you have earned 941 and + 1 merit and you only need 58 merit to be promoted to Legendary, I really think you deserve it for your contribution. If I look at your merit history then I think you just need a little more effort to get 1000. Congratulations on your achievement.

Thanks for all the compliments and best wishes, you both have the same opportunity as me and I'm sure you will too soon. I also found you guys on the road, I support it. I realized that after a Legendary is achieved, then merit is just a statistic in numbers, it doesn't affect much unless we are a source of merit or people who want to contribute to the community. I believe merit is one of the systems that has succeeded in increasing the quality of discussion from many users despite the fact that there are still quite a lot of users who don't care what the goal is.

Honestly I am very grateful to all the users who have supported me so far with motivation, direction, constructive advice, merit and many other things. All of which lead me to believe that there are no barriers whatsoever to ranking when we are willing and able to do our best by studying. In the end I was almost able to prove to everyone that the merit system never prevented me from achieving the highest rank in this forum. Soon, I'll get the 57 merit again to qualify as a Legendary. I'm not going to preach about it, but I have to admit that it's been great proving in 4 years.

Ha ha!  Congrats on hitting Legendary, BITCOIN4X.  I think I told you recently that I thought it was going to be a couple months before you got enough merit to rank up, but I was wrong in a good way. 

Savor the moment, the kudos, and the highest rank and then keep giving back those sMerits to members who need 'em to rank up.  You've seen how the merit system weeds out the undeserving and rewards the productive members, so you're an example to the newcomers who might think it's impossible to rank up past Jr. Member that it can be done.  Props to you, sir.

Merit is needed to rank up. The merit system has eliminated spammers and useless posts. Giving merit to productive members is not an obligation, but merit can provide motivation for members who want to try to improve the quality of the post to be better than before.

The merit system was set as the new ranking requirement, so any low-ranking users still needed merit to earn their rank. The merit system also doesn't completely eliminate spammers and low-quality posts as there are thousands of users today who still don't care about the quality of their posts and never get merit, but the 100% merit system manages to prevent spammers and low-quality posters from getting higher rank.

First, thank you to everyone who has congratulated me on this achievement. You are really special for me.
I just want to tell you all that I managed to reach this Legendary rank in 3 years, 10 months, and 9 days. This is my great achievement while being active on the forum since March 3, 2018. I have proven that I can also rank up to Legendary to everyone who ever doubted and ignored me. Even though it took longer to reach it compared to other contributors, but I'm happy because in the end I enjoyed each ladder with pride.

There's not much I can say right now, but I just want to thank everyone who has helped me so far. Without your help, I don't think this Legendary can be achieved in 1411 days. I can't do it for you one by one, but your every merit, support and motivation means a lot to me. Specially The Pharmacist, all other merit source and all of you which gives me merit, you are really special to this day and I think I should do the same to others in need.

Thanks for all the _BlackStar stats. I also see there is good potential from you where your quality improvement is getting better. So far you only need 40 merits to reach Sr rank and I hope you will too in a few months.

After I leave this thread open for more than 2 days since I rank up to Legendary then I will lock this thread now. I appreciate everyone who has supported me all this time even when you only came for this little celebration. Thank you for all your hopes and help, once again it is time for me to contribute to the community better than ever and help them with support, advice and merit.

Remember, success will be achieved if we really want to do it with hard work and consistency.
