I believe that there are 50% chances for bitcoin to set a new ATH this year but only 5% chances for any altcoins. So, if you see that bitcoin is falling then it would be a good idea to keep buying bitcoin and not the tokens or other coins.

Buying some altcoins with strong fundamentals are good enough during this dip market. However, we must also be aware that we may still face another dipping market and we sill don't know that it is the dip or will be dipping again.
Buying by some steps is wise enough in order to make us wise enough in managing our funds to buy altcoins based on some averaging steps.
