What an incredible development this project has gone through since November '21! We are experiencing a steadily growing community and interest in Hector Network. Where would we be without you, without our community? We are working tirelessly to meet the expectations and bring Hector Network to where it belongs, a prestige blockchain project at the forefront of the defi community. The constantly changing market conditions and regulations require a high level of commitment, and we have that in spades. As a team, we're always striving to provide the best possible outcome for the protocol.

Especially with these challenging market conditions, it is vital to continue working on Hector Network. The time is now! We must develop more robust products, improve and prepare for an upward trend. Our team has slated several aspects of the project that we believe require improvement. Be it on various subprojects, project management, or communications towards our users and community. We take these issues very seriously, and you will see many changes in the near future. As we are far from being at the finish line, one thing is still absolutely true, "We have only just begun." Hector Network is only just getting started!

Important Notice: Validator 94 has been taken offline due to technical issues. Fantom has not provided sufficient support in facilitating chaindata to reinstate it within the restricted timeframe imposed by the network to have validators back online. The new snapsync system on the latest version of Fantom Opera requires much longer than 3 days to sync the chaindata, making it impossible to meet the timeline requirements. Rather than suffer the loss of rewards, we’ll be moving our FTM to Validator 97 (named Hector Network) and focusing our efforts there in the future. Any users who have FTM staked with Validator 94, please do the same as soon as possible to protect yourself from further loss of rewards.

You must wait 7 days before you are able to restake your FTM, so the sooner you start the process the less reward loss will occur. Your FTM is not at risk and can be unstaked at any time.

For users who have locked to Validator 94 we regret that you have two options.

1) Pay the penalty for breaking your lock early, as we did.
2) Wait out the remainder of your lock but earn no rewards.

Since each users penalty will be different, it's important to consider the pros and cons of both options.

In order to verify with CoinMarketCap we need to include some additional wallets to the circulating supply, subsequently there will be a slight jump in the circulating supply. This is not due to sudden excessive minting! Previously these wallets have held HEC that is already minted but not in circulation, including wallets attached to Farms and CEX's. Over time, this HEC was slowly and naturally introduced into the circulating supply via transactions like reward distribution.

What does this mean for Hector Network?

Any platform that utilizes JustMoney's mobile terminals or e-checkouts will be able to accept HEC and TOR. JustMoneyPay also offers One-Time use links as well as an option for donations for platforms or communities looking to raise funds. This provides a powerful solution for all of the Defi space as well as for the Fantom ecosystem.

The versatility of the JustMoneyPay dApp will allow for every day people to take advantage of modern convinces like splitting a cheque, donating to your favorite streamer, gifting a cup of coffee to your friend, or using the mobile terminal in a shop!

It's finally live! We're so thrilled, Hectorians, that the Emission Plan is fully operational! If you have not already unstaked your sHEC from the "Stake" page on the dApp, we recommend you do it ASAP! Moving the tokens over to the Emission Plan ensures no additional loss of rewards!

The "Stake" page will be available until October 31st, after which you will need to contact the team and get assistance to retrieve your HEC!

The Emission Plan: Some important information
 
👉 To earn rewards from the Emission plan a user must timelock. However, after that time lock expires, the tokens are still considered “Staked” and will continue to earn rewards with the APR boost modified awarded to them based on the timelock length. At this point the HEC can be unstaked at anytime. 
 
For example: A user can timelock for 7 days (the lowest offered) and earn the APR Boost of XX%. After the 7 days their tokens remain in the farm until manually removed and would earn rewards using the same APR boost of XX%. 
 
👉 APR Boost vs APR :
The APR of the emissions plan is a constantly changing number, based on the period of the plan and several other factors.
The APR Boost is the modifier assigned to a user based on the length they choose to lock and could be unique to each deposit. While the APR can and is supposed to fluctuate over the course of the plan, each APR Boost is designed to remain steady.

👉 Users who hold wsHEC will need to both unwrap wsHEC to sHEC and unstake sHEC to HEC before they can enter the Emission Plan.
 
👉 Users who are using their wsHEC as collateral against a loan in Institute: there is no problem waiting if it is not an advantageous time to liquidate your collateral. You might suffer some reward loss in the meantime, however you will be able to unstake and unwrap your HEC later, even after the "Stake" Page is removed on the 31st. Do not feel pressure to pull yourself out of a position before you are ready too.
 
👉 Each time you timelock a batch of HEC, an ERC-721 NFT is minted that represents your timelocked tokens.
 
👉 When your timelock has run out and you unstake your tokens from the plan, the NFT is dissolved. 
 
👉 These NFTs are not soulbound.
