There were 27,404 posts (some may have been removed or moved) during 2021 on the Development & Technical Discussion board. Number of posts made by 2236 users in the last year, I didn't compare it to the previous year but this is a quick overview for the Development & Technical Discussion board in a year. The number of active users is much less than other boards including bitcoin discussion or other boards. I don't think this describes about whether or not someone cares about bitcoin, because basically people's interest in bitcoin will never be the same.

It could be that people are more interested in using bitcoin as a means of payment, investment and so on. You won't really be able to tell them as someone who doesn't support bitcoin, but it just depends on the interest.
