Pros and Cons of Gambling

Well, I believe the cons of gambling are very clearly outlined and quite universal for everyone. You lose your money, your house, your car, your families respect, your own dignity and so on... The pros? Well the pros are that it is fun if you can control yourself (which is harder than you believe). But other than fun, I would not think there are any other pros. The tiny chance of making big bucks is not a pro in my book.

Simple.
Pros: Playing gambling -> get many rewards from winning and others -> having much money -> being richer-> having a good life and economy financial (of course with some T&C)
Cons: Playing gambling -> Being addicted -> bad in gambling -> always losing in gambling -> losing much more money -> being poor -> crimes -> getting money to  play gambling again -> lost again (the cycle is continuing)

agreed and the main thing for me? that is the adrenaline rush in which make me enjoy my gambling experience specially when I am winning constantly 

and what i don't expect? that is the chance to win jackpot because this will also increases my needs or desire to win that is for me is a Negative approach in gambling.

There will always be pros and cons when gambling, myself for several years playing gambling the advantage I feel is that I get pleasure when
playing gambling. Because my goal is to play gambling only as entertainment, so the winnings I get are only as a bonus. Even though I ended up
losing money when playing gambling, it didn't become a burden for me. Maybe disadvantage I experienced when playing gambling I once
experienced addiction, when I first started gambling. It ended up getting my finances in trouble, I have a large enough debt when playing

While we are on a losing streak the adrenaline will combine with the frustration and being consistent in that way will make us addicted to it. But I am talking about the adrenaline while losing or spinning, the matter of seconds will keep us on the edge of seat which I lose especially.

As for gambling as such, I only see cons, disadvantages, no matter how much others have said the opposite. The only good thing I can think of is if you win the lottery or a game that has a high multiplier, and as I said in another thread, if we consider poker within gambling, there I see pros: acquiring patience, learning to think in the long term or learning the calculation of probabilities mixed with intuition.

As for cons, well, everything related to developing a potential addiction and loss of money, as mentioned.

Gambling has pros and cons depending on our perception. But we agree that playing gambling without control can make us addicted, especially if we play gambling for a long time. When we become addicted, our minds will always think about how to continue playing gambling and have money to bet without thinking about how we can have the money. Why people bets? Just a little percentage of player are here for "fun". This should be the real and only PRO.
PLAY FOR FUN! But the vast majority are trying in all the way to earn money.

The pros and cons of gambling has been discussed in this section for several times already.
Now, talking about disadvantages and advantages of gambling, I don't see more advantages except the fact that gambling is for leisure and for uncertain profit.
The rest is a lot of disadvantages.
The only time that gambling is more of an advantage than a disadvantage to you is when you're professional in that field, meaning you're paid to gamble.

I agree with you that most of the regular gamblers are probably near the breakeven point. They didn't win much and they didn't lose much either. Many casino games are close to a 50% win chance. There will be swings in between but on average most gamblers will be in the center of the distribution. As for the tails, the number of people who got rich through gambling or lost it all is small. That's why I wouldn't count becoming rich as a big pros argument for gambling. For me the pros are having an opportunity to play games in the evening now from home. I am not so much into shooters or other traditional games anymore. Gambling provides a nice alternative.

The most prone cons are you gonna bury yourself with loans and you don't find any way to pay it back just because you lose it all in playing overnight or a week. Gambling is not pure evil but it has more cons than pros. you need to be careful and have complete control of your emotions when you lose your money in a single play. because when you start to spend the money that should not be used for gambling, that's the start of the problem and only a few can stop themselves when something like that will happened.

Aren't it was always cons outweighs the pros? Well, that's how I put it, most of the time even if we say we are just into it for the leisure we can't deny the fact that we sometimes get hooked on it.
