My 2021 Crypto Journey

I started my crypto journey in 2021 and this year I show opportunities as also many some drawbacks. But at the end of the year, I could say that crypto has changed my life and I can run my life depending on crypto. I knew about cryptocurrency from 2015/2016 but never worked in its ecosystem or just go preev after 4/5 months and saw the price of BTC. At the beginning of 2021, I got an Airdrop(I am thankful for the moderators and admins of that project) that helps me to get into the crypto world. I sorted some points about losses and gains.
Losses:

• I always try to figure income sources that come from passively. Whenever I saw that any project gave an opportunity of earning passive income, It caught my attention. I saw some gaming projects on wax blockchain that are giving passive income by investing in them (purchasing gaming items). So, I put more than 50% of my savings of crypto, put on two projects. Believe me, it was the worst decision I have ever made in the whole crypto journey. I withdraw my savings from a project that have huge potential at that time(still with high potential). These 2 projects give me nothing but dust tokens with zero value of money. Still, now, I can't even get 20$ from these two projects. Waste of money, waste of time, wrong decision of withdrawn savings.
• When any high-potential project was listed, most of us knew that it made many corrections before reaching a high price. A couple of months ago, a project of my holding got listed in tier 1 exchanges, I dumped it after a couple of hours, I thought, the token will be dumped again, so I should exchange them now. Yes, they dumped. But after some days they gained 400% compared to the price when in sold.
• In the beginning, whenever I saw any coin or token performing great, breaking all-time high prices. I brought some of them. But just then the market crashed. I waited months to recover my losses.
• I made many silly mistakes like sending coins in the wrong network, lost seed phases and authentication phone, forgetting to put stop loss, and many more.

If I side all the mistakes and decisions then I can say that 2021 is a better year to start a journey of crypto. I mentioned some achievements of crypto ecosystems.

• I got lots of airdrops that get me a good amount of free money to start the beginning. I just keep on my eye on various youtube channels and telegram groups that help me to know about new airdrops.
  
• We all know that the crypto world is full of opportunities and scopes, so I keep my eye on various exchangers and projects, that might give any promotional offers to engage more users. Sometimes, these types of promotions give me a good amount of money.
  
  • I met lots of people that helped me to build a community. People from different fields of crypto helped me to gain knowledge and information about the market.
    
    
    I admit that the crypto market is full of ups and down but if we research properly, we can be wealthy by crypto. Crypto is a well with no bottom, and I'm still a learner of this market, need to learn lots of things.

As a beginner these are mistakes that are bound to happen especially when you don't have basic knowledge or someone to put you through and explain how the crypto world is. Its a good thing you didn't give up even after all the losses. Be purposeful, learn from your mistakes and other peoples mistakes and improve on your weak spots in crypto.

I think were the same. I got funds and almost all of my capital from free airdrops. But what I did isnt rely only on that after that. I made good used of that money in various ways and eventually help me also on my financial status. Im also watching and reading from social medias regarding whats the latest update. Its gonna be hard to hunt legit airdrops thst were making quick bucks unlike before. Mostly now you need to spend some money in order to get qualify, and dont rely on those sign up form anymore cause out of 50 only 1 or 2 of them gonna be real giveaways.

Anyway thats a broad explanation of your story. Hope you improve more not only about that but also a good community member here and someone who contributes greatly here. [/list]

Since you are doing a lot of airdrops, you should be aware that some free tokens might quickly drain your wallet after you have interacted with some sort of "approval" or by depositing real token to Liquidity Pool(LP).I do not know the technicalities behind it, but it has something to do with exploiting smart contracts that would extract token out of your wallet without the need of private keys.

[Scam Alert] Beware of Airdrops that will drain tokens out of your address.

Knowing this will save you a lot of headaches so good luck.

Thanks for your appreciation. Its means a lot to me. Now, I think I need to be mature to think about before investing in any project. 
But sometimes, it's frustrated to see that any of your posts are well written but no one gives a shit. At the end of the day, just trying to be a good member of this community to help others and also hoping for proper help from others.

You're on the right track by experiencing those. You're not easy now investing with any projects you see and think of having the potential. You're going to be more meticulous upon investing your money because you don't want to end up the same with your past investment mistakes.

There are a lot of experiences that you will go through as this year has started. Just keep going and don't be discouraged with the market's situation, you've been through a lot already and you're ready for the best and for the worst.

Learning from your past mistakes is the best what we can do and convert it to our experience and knowledge for further projects.But would recommend you to stay away from airdrops as they are mere scams who can end up with your personal information and you can check a list of scam ones mentioned above.This was biggest reason for many investors loss in 2017 crash as tokens get dumped easily.But at last you need to become mature and it's your call for it.

But sometimes, it's frustrated to see that any of your posts are well written but no one gives a shit. At the end of the day, just trying to be a good member of this community to help others and also hoping for proper help from others. 

I don't think he has written something wrong or absurd but it's general statement that you can improve on forum and grow yourself but if you feel frustrated about it then it's totally your fault because you need to take things in better understanding which will help you to seriously grow.

Speaking of your post it's good but if you think merits should be given as appreciation then for me it's not that helpful so I have not given it but for someone else it could be so he has given to you.But our main concern is helping and discussion on forum on which we should focus more rather than saying nobody gives a shit and there are many good post than this just look for them.If you will work as good members you will see results for them.Best wishes ahead and stay away from scam projects and be safe.

Yes, you are right we can earn some money through airdrop from sites but we must be double our security and don't forget to keep your information unknown in order to protect yourself from scam sites. There are many sites that gives you free and then ask your personal information,
This is a lesson learn to stay away from airdrops cause not all gives you a happy ending but some gives you something to make your story sad.[/list][/list][/list]
