If we are high stake players or users who wanted to take advantage to casinos or other gambling sites then the user should not be surprised if they were asked for KYC but usually normal users who doesn't show any shady behavior or average gamblers doesn't need to be concern about KYC since only few were asked about KYC I've been playing for years now from different gambling sites and not even once I was asked to take their KYC (the mandatory one).

It bloody has no purpose if it was "optional". I mean, users would just simply avoid using it anymore, and besides, KYC isn't something that is supposed to be optional, it's supposed to be something pretty much guaranteed by the casino to be done to users once a certain criterion has been met. There are casino's that are not fully centralized so they do not comply with KYC and if they comply with KYC they will think that their income is going to get lessen but if ever that we are already on a casino that is fully regulated and requires a KYC to increase your limits, this can be beneficial to the gamblers because this can make them play in a controlled manner or they will play with amounts that are not that huge enough for them to do a KYC.
