Hi :

Where are servers located, I mean in which datacenter ?
I currently rent a few servers in Softlayer datacenter, for voip services.
Some of them have uptime > 3 years, I need such a reliability.
Can you provide that ?

If you're on the Freenode IRC network, shoot me a PM (maclof) or join #bitservers

I'm interested in the information above as well.

I'd like to know about locations, bandwidth, uptime, redundancy, etc.  I have my own licenses that I'd use.

Is there a discount if I prepay?

Hey guys,

The servers are currently all located in France, Paris & Roubaix. The company which houses the servers in their datacentre is OVH (http://ovh.fr) whom at the current date host over 100,000 active servers. In terms of uptime as we're a relatively new company our uptimes are currently at around 70 days, although having personally used their services for more than 5 years I've yet to have a single complaint about the company. We provide excellent support regarding the setup and running of the servers, although they're sold strictly as unmanaged, we are always open to helping customers install and setup software, free of charge.

In terms of hardware replacement, if such problem would arise, OVH will replace the faulty component within 4 hours of the situation being reported, the company also monitor all servers and can intervene if there is a problem appearing with a certain server (packet loss, offline).

The network has excellent peering to the United States, and other parts of the globe, We've had numerous customers who reside in the USA & Canada who have said they prefer the price for performance of the services we're available to offer. You can expect to receive your full 100Mbps connection throughout each day, any hour, until you've reached your soft bandwidth cap of 10TB, at which point you can either pay approximately 0.6BTC per extra 1TB, or have your server rated limited to 10Mbps for the remainder of the billing month.

We're able to install windows licenses at request, either for a fee per month (I'd have to check this info per client requirement) or with your own SPLA license key. We're an MSDN subscriber and have used numerous of our Server 2008 R2 keys without a single issue.

Unfortunately we arn't able to offer discounts for a prepay at the moment, although we hope to be able to do this in the future.

Thank you for your time.

These look like pretty good deals.

Is there an option for unmetered bandwidth or something higher than 10TB/month?

There are no options to allow upgrade to unmetered, that would be a completely new range we'd like to offer in the near future.

Edit: Unmetered series would cost approximately 60-65BTC/month

If your a Bitcoin entrepreneur and businessman like me you know the value of dedication, power and consistency.

I run several different businesses and need a go-to place for dedicated high performance servers that are reasonably priced.

Bitservers has met and exceeded my expectations, I am now in the second month of service and have leased two dedicated servers from them and I could not be happier. A company like Bitservers is ideal to help build up the infrastructure of the Bitcoin world and I sincerely hope to be doing business with them for years to come.

thanks Marc for offering a high end server product for the Bitcoin community!

How could we possibly trust our data to someone who (apparently) isnt using a licensed version of WHMCS?

We let our copy of WHMCS expire as we're rebuilding our website in its entirety, including a new billing system, plus a number of our customers requested to purchase directly via email, rather than through the billing system.

Hence why I said in my previous reply that anybody whom is interested in purchasing from us to email me first, all of our other customers seem to have no problem with us providing support and billing via email.
