Many Casinos are simply obliged to state in their KYC that they require it if they are holding a license. Doesn't mean a casino would actually do it. Unless they suspect something but something far more serious like money laundering, otherwise I agree it shouldn't be applied to the crypto users. Defeats the purpose and the what it's suppose to stand for.

Even if the casino doesn't have or has not yet secured a license, once a user is suspected of abuse they will likely ask for KYC, not only abuse or withdrawing a huge amount but account recovery or a user forgetting his pin code or 2FA recovery, KYC is good to protect the casino and the player as well but they should not ask KYC as a mandatory requirement to play in their casino if they want more players in the Cryptocurrency community.

So maybe one purpose of this topic is to highlight services that still don't ask for KYC?

This topic is created to make the KYC requirements and license details available at a single place, so that the bettors can easily get the information here.

Yes I get it But I was wondering also, since we're all crypto users and crypto gamblers, can we also not try and push for more highlight for non-KYC sites/casinos? I mean I understand that licensing and regulations makes it impossible for KYC to be ignored, but we should still give some extra exposure for those crypto casinos that still do their best to provide a pure non-KYC experience that was originally the offering from crypto casinos.

As we see, all crypto casinos have a KYC procedure, except casinos without license(the same time it is enough dangerous to gamble in such casino as for me). The difference is just what you have to do. As i see - all casino get your personal data, so i don`t know for what purposes we use cryptocurrencies in such casinos. It doesn`t anonymize us.

Some of the documents these casinos are asking are very similar to Crypto exchange like Driver's license, National Id and of course Passport, I'm sure every player has 1 or two of these documents, this is industry practice whether it's fiat or Cryptocurrency if you are going to dive you will get your feet wet so there's nothing we can do on casinos that asked for our ID, just pick the right casino to play and your vital pieces of information are safe.

Actually I think the number of casinos that do not require a KYC are much more than the casinos that requires a KYC, you even said that in your reply. Casinos started without a KYC and then they will now require KYC later on but i think this practice is unethical but casino players will quit on playing with them if they are not comfortable with the KYC requirement.

Casinos are only risking the foundation that they already built only for this KYC. I tried playing on stake casino and no they do not force me to do a KYC. KYC on their site is just optional but doing a KYC can unlock some benefits and they can give you extra rewards if your participating on their promotions.

If we know the company registration number, there is a direct url that can be used to get an Excerpt from the Curaçao Commercial Register.
It's just a matter of replacing the ID number with the correct registration number of the company you want to check.

Added the Curacao commercial register number with verifier link in “License(Register)” column. Also added the individual company name of each casino by adding a “License Operator” column in the table. @FatFork, Thank you for the idea. @notblox1, now you can verify the Curacao commercial register of each casino. Hopefully it will help every forum members to know more about the casino license.

If indeed the casino can guarantee to maintain the security of our personal identity, I think there is nothing wrong with doing kyc from the beginning to register to meet their requirements, my friend once had experience betting on local online gambling sites and they did not make kyc as the initial requirements to join the site, but when my friend got the jackpot with a large enough prize, suddenly the site said the player account could not make the first withdrawal on the grounds that it had not been kyc and canceled the prize.

This is a great question and pops up frequently. Same as all companies utilizing the Dama NV license, we use technical infrastructure and a license as a 3rd party service provided to us. However, the owner and management of both casinos are not affiliated.

You should not talk too naively about who is the owner of your personal data that you yourself sent to them when you performed the KYC procedure, which guarantees the preservation of this data and the non-disclosure of data to other persons and blocking public access.  Casinos can be forced to release confidential customer information by government agencies, or it can simply be hacked and made public.  Experience shows that this happens quite often.  A recent example is the hacking and publication of the leger hardware wallet customer base in the summer of 2000.  Then about a million buyers ceased to be anonymous.  And it was very painful for them.  So it is with the casino, information may not leak, or it may leak despite any security guarantees. 
In this, I see great harm to the psychological state of any client from these KYC, when, in fact, no casino needs any knowledge of the client at all.  It is generally redundant.

Even in some casinos, when you hit a jackpot and you're about to withdraw. There's a big chance that they will ask you for it.

There are also such legal constructions built around the verification procedures, such as "you will have to pass KYC. if necessary, or KYC is required only in exceptional cases, etc."  All this is definitely slyness and deceit.  And you must immediately be prepared that KYC will have to be performed.  But, I think the lawyers wrote this way so that a person who does not want to introduce himself, but wants to remain anonymous, would have as little suspicion as possible that in the event of a withdrawal of the winnings, he would receive money and remain anonymous. 
But, I think experienced players know all these tricks on the part of lawyers and are ready to say goodbye to anonymity.

. unless, you are a high roller and you surpass their limits ( usually 2k EUR or 2k USD). otherwise, you can play without worrying about KYC. and they have gaming license.

2000 usd is total amount after which whey will ask you for KYC. At least this happened to me.

I think this thread should stay, stay at the top on the gambling board, what @Mahdirakib is doing, important information for newcomers who want to see and play gambling on existing sites, they can choose a gambling site which is good for them kyc or not.

So far, many gambling sites have sprung up, some have licenses, KYC and some have no clear information, it seems that anyone who wants to dive into the world of gambling should see and read this thread to avoid gambling sites that lead to scams.

This is quite surprising! A lot of casinos are operating under the Dama N.V. license. But Dama N.V. isn't a master license holder. Dama N.V. is just a company who is operating under Antillephone N.V. master license operators of Curacao. I'm wondering why there are so many casinos under the same company! I have checked few other casinos license operator too, but couldn't find more than one casino under the same license operator like this.

All of those casinos representative aren't active in the forum. I would like to hear more about Dama N.V. operator from winz.io representative.
