Is 200watt with 47MH an efficient mining in today's crypto world? Someone wants to sell some Rx Vega 56 for me but I have my doubts because

1. They are power hungry
2. They aren't that rugged unless you buying them new

What advice can you give me on this, though the price are cheap since they are used

Neither, since lhr gpus are here to stay for the meantime, old gpus were given a chance to stay hashing for sometime yet, trolls complain about lhr gpus but in reality, lhr gpus were the ones that held the difficult of coins to rise to atrocious levels. I guess people with old gpus must be laughing right now and that guy that wants to sell his old gpu will still get some value out of it. I don't like used GPUs mist especially AMD cards cos they die easily, I bought 3 Radeon GPU as used from someone and later I detected that they've worked and solder some things on the GPU before, this was after the GPUs stopped working, the choice is yours

And i like used AMD cards. I have 150 AMD cards, many of them are used and they run for 4 - 5 years now -> 1 died in this time.

Not all used GPUs are bad that's why it's most important to buy from a trusted source, I use an agent in China that helps me test the GPU very well before sending down to my country for me, I have many used Nvidia GPUs too but I got them because new GPUs are high in price new GPUs are always better

47 Mhsh for 200 watt is not the most wonderful of deals of course but if you don't pay high electricity costs,can find this card for cheap and also this card is the only option for you.If you are in this kind of situation I would suggest you get it.If you happen to have more choices then going for a really old card like the Rx Vega is not the best thing to do.In the end it all depends on the circumstances.

Used GPU-s are always a gamble as it depends how well the previous user took care of it.For example in your case,if the Vega was kept mining at a really high temperature like more than 70 degree celsius for a long time,most likely its life will not be that long and if the previous user took really good care of it and kept it running less than 65 degree celsius in mining,this card lifespan will be longer.

You should understand that this card is very good for Ethereum mining, but it will give little profit on other algorithms. If your price is more than $ 0.1 per kilowatt, then I would not recommend buying it. An exception if, according to the calculator, it pays off more than 80% in 4 months.

200watts per 47MH is high to be honest, good if you have extremely cheap electricity or free electricity, I would go with 120watt per 47MH this is still manageable, I went with 3060ti because they take 120watt per 62MH which is so satisfying, another good cards are the 6600XT and the 1660super

Its easier to get bad GPUs this days that's why I always avoid used GPU, there is no way to tell if the owner have do some soldering work on the GPU or not, some people failed to use the GPUs right, they push them to their limits and sell to unknown buyers

This is not true. Most sellers test the GPUs beforehand because they dont want bad feedback. They reflash the stock firmware and usually run a benchmark to make sure the GPUs works in games at least. GPUs don't have any mechnical components like cars so they are fairly reliable.

And how many people do soldering work on their GPUs? Almost nobody. The only type of work done on a GPU might be the fan replacements. Usually when something frys on the GPUs they throw it out instead of soldering parts on it to fix it.

Such video cards need to be bought from trusted sellers or only with a check to make sure that the video cards have not been repaired.
Luck is an abstract concept, you need to have experience with used computer hardware. Otherwise you will be deceived.

I would only buy used graphic cards if the seller is nearby and if they can allow taking the heat sink apart, the first GPU I got for gaming was used and the seller scammed me because the GPU was repaired already and it doesn't lasted before it failed to work

How cheap? and depends your electric bill. if you have cheap electricity then it is ok i like vegas, i call them beast

Under such conditions, no one will sell you video cards. If you buy video cards, then you ask for access to a mining farm where you can see mining statistics and overclocking of video cards.
This is the maximum that they will provide you if you buy video cards from friends or colleagues from the same telegram group.
Another option is to buy through a guarantor, but this is 5-7% more expensive for you due to the services of the guarantor and additional transportation costs.

Vega 56 and 64 are beasts if one died on you then two things are involved, it's either you don't cool them very well or you got a bad GPU, this doesn't clear the fact that all Vega cards are bad
