It's been said here before that you can contact trusted coin support and ask them for your private keys so you could try to do that (I'm not sure how much information theyll want though - you might just have to send them an email from the email address you registered with).

There are steps you can follow here that light be able to give you the stored master private key for one of the cosigners (im not too sure how multisig works): https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/74978/how-to-get-master-private-key-in-electrum-wallet#74990

Your wallet is actually a 2 of 3 multi-signature wallet. For making any transaction, 2 private keys are needed. Your wallet file includes only 1 private key.
If you have neither the seed phrase nor the 2FA code, the only thing you can do to is to contact trustedcoin and ask them to recover the 2FA.
Contact them with the email address you used when creating the wallet.

It's been said here before that you can contact trusted coin support and ask them for your private keys.......
They may recover the 2FA, but they won't give the private key.

I can't find their email to contact them
Contact userhelp@trustedcoin.com.

In their "contact us" page, they say that they will ignore such requests.
But as already said, if you have neither the seed phrase nor the 2FA key, that's the only thing you can do. Try your luck. They  have been helpful in some cases.

By the way, are you sure that you haven't saved your seed phrase or written that somewhere? Are you sure that you don't have trustedcoin 2FA authenticator on an old phone?

No, none of the three master public keys you have can help you to make a transaction.
As said, your wallet is actually a 2 of 3 multi-signature wallet. This means that for making any transaction two private keys are needed.

Your wallet includes only 1 master private key and since you don't have the seed phrase, any transaction you want to make has to be signed by trustedcoin.
Just wait for trustedcoin's response. There's nothing else you can do, unless you manage to find the seed phrase or the 2FA authenticator.

Do you have the 12 word seed phrase?  You should have written it down when you created your wallet, and should have hidden it someplace safe.  If you have the seed phrase you can restore the wallet and disable 2FA.

I know people in situations like this cling to every straw, but TrustedCoin can't do anything if the OP doesn't have the original email associated with this service. 4 BTC is a very significant amount today, but obviously, at the time the OP acquired them they were not too valuable - otherwise he would have backed up his seed, and kept it in a safe place.

Is there any chance that some sort of brute force could get your seed back?
No, that's impossible.

The only thing I can recommend you is to try to find the seed phrase. You may have saved or written that somewhere.
Also note that you have definitely enabled 2FA when creating the wallet. You may be able to find it on an old mobile phone.

Otherwise, there's nothing you can do and the fund is lost forever.

Are you sure it's only 40 BTC? I ask because it is a bit unbelievable that at one point you have 4 BTC, and then suddenly 10 times more - I hope that number will not increase, solely because of your mental health.

Of course, TrustedCoin can't help you, you don't have the original e-mail and you can't prove absolutely anything, for them the point is quite clear. As for the brute-force wallet file, I was pretty sure you couldn't get to the seed that way - and unfortunately that's true, you are not the first to ask that question.

Unfortunately, he doesn't have it, the wallet file also doesn't contain the seed; otherwise, it defeats the purpose of a 2fa wallet.

As @hosseinimr93 says, try to find a seed or email related to Electrum, it's your only chance. I would start thinking seriously in your place, maybe you will remember in a week, maybe in 1 year - you certainly don't lack motivation.

I'm not familiar with what TrustedCoin wants for recovery but why aren't they asking for a signed message to recover the 2FA? It is pretty simple too.
OP says he has the file and the password so he has to have access to 1 of the 3 master private keys so he has the child private key of the first address too. Both OP and TrustedCoin know the 3 public keys of the first address, they can ask OP to sign a message from the 1 public key out of 3 that he has to prove he has access to the wallet file.

Perhaps because there's no second factor with just access to the wallet file? He has to prove he has access to the email address he used when creating the wallet.

OP says he has the file and the password so he has to have access to 1 of the 3 master private keys so he has the child private key of the first address too.
There is no requirement to set a password on an Electrum wallet. If OP set up his 2FA wallet without a password (which I'm guessing plenty of people do since they figure their coins are safe without the associated 2FA code), then anyone who has access to OP's computer or has stolen the wallet file via malware or physical means would be able to sign a message and prove ownership, which entirely defeats the point of the 2FA wallet in the first place. Also anyone who has accessed OP's seed phrase could do this as well.

If TrustedCoin were to allow anyone with access to the wallet file or seed to bypass the requirement for a 2FA code, then there would be no point to ever using their service.

How about the "2FA key" that Electrum showed during wallet creation? Check if you have saved it somewhere.
(this is only an example, do not use):

Likely there is no alternative to recover your wallet whether you found registered mail or your seed phrase. Here you may look for more details.

What happens if I lose my authenticator?

If you lose your authenticator your ONLY option is to restore your wallet from the wallet seed phrase you were shown when your wallet was created. During the restore process you will be given the option to either (1) disable 2FA or (2) provision a new authenticator.

Not sure even your registered mail could help you, but you may try. If somehow you could discover the seed phrase means the fund is recoverable. Its not easy to break 2fa system, otherwise it will be useless.

Not sure even your registered mail could help you, but you may try.

This is one of the ways that has been proven to work so far, and there is no doubt that TrustedCoin would not help if OP had the original email account he used when he created the Electrum 2FA wallet. You have countless examples where you can see that TrustedCoin does not cause problems to its users if they have the original e-mail.

Trustedcoin has answered me!
They have sent me a qr code and using the google authenticator it was possible to withdraw the funds.
Thank you very much for all your comments, thanks to HCP for his response and especially to nc50lc for his guidance.
This problem has been resolved !!!
