I am developing my project. My relationships always say that backers are important. But I have seen many backers that bring no value to the project. Fb posts only bring 50-100 likes. What I'm interested in is:
- If there are no good backers, should I choose any backers?
- I raised $300k from angel investors. The project's available capital is $100k. So what should I do?
- What if the project has no backer, but I have the capital. Will users rate it as a bad project?

that's totally depend with what's your backer. If you have backed by popular VC and your project will be successful.

As long as that's fully verified and legit, backer means nothing. Backer was increasing the trust rate from the users.

Backers mean you will have your own small community to show to the world, you are a real project with real investors. Teams developing projects are desperate to have their community running and inviting people to grow, if they couldn't do it the project might not be able to make it. It needs votes.

If you have sufficient funds to operate and run your business for long term then there is no need to find a backer. Many project strive to find backer because they don't have enough funds to for startup. Not all backer bring good benefits to the project since they get huge allocation of tokens in exchange for there money that will result for the decrease of value of token in the future. The reason why some VC hype the project is because they are known for choosing quality project but if you have enough resources then follow your own way.

For me, if you are dedicated to your project, you must be worried first about the quality of your project, how legit it is, and how useful it that will solve problems.
I believe that "backer" is more likely for marketing but it will also help you to find investor then money invested will be use for development and help your project grow and sustain the development.

It depends, if you are able to convince anyone then you should have them on board regardless of they are good or bad. I believe many small backers will be summing up what you actually target. So, do not leave anyone just by flagging them not good. Try to have all who are all convinced by your project.

Are you talking about backers or influencers? If you already have seed capital to fund your business, you won't need backers. But to bring hype to your project, you will need influencers. Unfortunately, people will start realizing the good potential of your business later but first they will listen to the influencer. So it is very important for a business, especially in crypto market because of the tight competition.

Good projects will find its ways into the market eventually. But it is a time consuming process. Influencers can make this process faster. So if you really believe that your project is unique and will make an impact on the market, go ahead with influencer marketing as you have already raised a good amount of money from Angel investors.

I think that is why Angel investors are mentioned but when he explained it the whole thing got confusing. What do you really need OP? Influencers are different from supporters. A lot of supporters are just in the shadows being silent about what they invested with while influencers could be paid personalities like a marketing team. They will help you brag about your project on different platforms like social media, mostly known as "shilling".

You need engagement with your audience. If the likes are too few, you need someone who's very good in engaging with your community. Without the trust from the community, even if you have enough funds that would mean nothing. Actually, i think it will caused it more capital, because backers are supportive measure that's making a project to be more influential and well known, but it would have stand the project first, before looking into a supportive measure, finding investors at the beginning is not normal criteria or best option from my perception, their is other methods he can bring that will make the product or project to be recommendable by investor.

no, users will not rate your project like that. The most important thing in building a new project is capital. development funding is very important, without it all is meaningless. Once your platform is released and has users, Backer will slowly come and become a fully supportive community of your project. so backer doesn't really matter to me in new project development as long as you have personal capital and don't depend too much on investors, your project will be fine.

Besides, the backers you mentioned are very important in the success of any project. With a right and influential backer, the project is sure to gather a huge hype more than one without such a backer whether it has a usecase or not. The word has to get out there first for people to even know that a project exists to start with. Imagine a popular YouTuber promoting your project or there be a rumour that CZ Binance or Elon Musk is on your team. Just the rumour alone is sure to cause a mad rush for the project. You sound like you are trying to pre-announce your project in a hidden way or you must be overreacting about your investors. But, in my opinion, instead of wasting time on this, you must focus on developing your project and product so that people will keep faith on your words. Most project might be getting all the initial requirements like angel investors and regular investors and etc. But, when they fail to deliver their project, nothing will work for them.

Moreover, these things are insignificant when you are about to address a long lasting real life problem because people are looking for the resolution and not the price value initially so you do not need to waste time on over thinking about your investors.

what i understood about the OP referring to backers are like the promoters or endorsers of the project. if he has solid foundation and already raised funds to develop the project, he may not need those promoters to pursue the project and won't be the reason of his project's failure. if he has good product or services, people will notice his platform and word of mouth can be his marketing tool here.
just look at many projects here running all kinds of bounty programs, most of them still fail when it comes to deliverables and so the project will be abandoned eventually.
