Cryptocurrency status at the beginning of the year

Cryptocurrency is going to pass two weeks so far this year but still no positive is found. I think it could be even longer. In other words, it will take some time for the market to get better.

You know what's positive? Bitcoin had a really strong resistance that it didn't fall below $40,000 when everyone is expecting the bearish trend that might bring Bitcoin back to $30k or $20k level.
This only means that, the longer Bitcoin hold onto that level the slimmer the chance for the price to fall below $40k and the next thing we might see is an upward momentum again that'll hit not only just a new ATH but we might see a 6 digit figure for Bitcoin.

Most of these people who complained about the beginning of the year are newbies or no idea about the market situation like the price of 2017 vs 2020. They just want a quick pump like there's no stopping as if there are no traders who do buy and sell that's why the price fluctuate. The best option they have if the market seems declining is to hodl or accumulate more by buying the dip since the price is cheaper compared to when it's in the bull run.

Many don’t know what to do during the bear trend since they are not ready to lose money since they think cryptocurrency is always about profit which is wrong, that’s why many are panicking now. No this is not always the case. A year ago was very bullish and most people assumed it would be bearish because 2020 like 2017 was a good year for Bitcoin and many made profits, hence they waited until new year to sell for new tax year.

So we assumed this was a good indicator but obviously it’s not the case every year. It’s hard to say how the year will go. Bitcoin is highly correlated with the stock market right now and the markets are scared of all the rate hikes this year. However this is mostly priced in. So no one knows what the future will hold.

Yeah, who wouldn't forget that, specially in my case because that's the first time I have experienced a bull run and everything is preaching that bitcoin will not go below $10k. But the price goes down hard in the first quarter of 2018 and the rest is history.

It's because of the hype still in some altcoins, NFT's and some other meme coins still dominating the altcoin market so far. But if the hype is gone then maybe we might see signs of bearish trend in the altcoin market.

that's how the market works mate wherein after making good progress there will be a correction after all, its a expected season actually since from the beginning as it's like a roller-coaster to make the story short.. Of course, bitcoin will always end up being bullish, but i am seeing it more like bearish these days as its price never even breaks the resistance level of $45k and its price just staying around $41k-$42k in these past days. But i have still high hopes that bitcoin will still be bullish before this year ends and will end up having its new ATH.

It's normal to Bitcoin that has a correction and I think it's not yet a negative result yet we are still on a bullish trend.
Look around and listen to the news, most countries are now accepting, investing, and making Bitcoin a legal tender which sounds good in the long term.

I have been years observing the Bitcoin price since 2017 and I've confirmed that Bitcoin continuously grows and yes, there will be a better market soon but there's no time frame for that.  I like those people who have faith in Bitcoin and didn't get easily panic selling, they are true crypto enthusiasts.

I totally agree with you, I think the same, in fact I have always analyzed BTC with the Wyckoff method and of course when evaluating it on a long-term basis we are in a bullish trend, and I think that is the dominant trend, in these moments the fall of BTC is an infallible and very healthy correction that must occur in every speculative market, however not everything is written and anything can be expected, it can go lower, or even recover and give a new ATH, everything depends right now even of the same fundamentals worldwide.

It may or may not. I don't know what will happen at the end of the year but I doubt very much that the next few months will be bullish and we will beat last year's ath of over $70K. With the FED withdrawing stimulus, and Russia and the EU considering banning mining, it is normal that we will have a few months with low price. Surely we will recover a little from the recent fall but I do not see spectacular rises, unless we have news like Amazon accepting Bitcoin or something like that but I see unlikely news like this in this environment.

If the support gets tested again a couple of times then surely the price can go below $30k and that would mean that the price can further go down and bearish cycle with bitcoin lasts for very long period of time, this is also looking like the case when the Bitcoin price broke $20k mark for the very first time and then in a couple of months the price spiraled down to about $5k. I agree, people are panicking for no reason at all, it is true the price is now below the 40k level which was considered to be the floor for the price of bitcoin, but even if right now the price is at 35k this is a huge opportunity for those that are not afraid to buy the dip, how many people have been wishing that the price of bitcoin was lower so they could buy more of it? Well, this is the chance, after all even if the price of bitcoin went lower I think it will be hard for bitcoin to go below 30k level, so we are as close to the bottom as we could get, making this a perfect opportunity to buy some bitcoin.
