Larg number of freewallet users are thrown into confusion as deposits to the freewallet have been delayed in the last 12 hours, but the team have announced the delay in the freewallet app news section that the bug will be fixed but no time frame was given as when normalcy will return to deposits balance reflections.

Freewallet is a custodial wallet, it is not your key it is not your coin. Get a reputed noncustododial wallet to have full control over your coins.

I would rather choose a noncustodial wallet like an open-source wallet which is you have your own private under your control, like Electrum.
That is not a wallet, they seem like an exchange, a very shady exchange that has a ton of complaints against them.

For further information just have a deep research on this board (Scam Accusations) and on the search bar just type the name of the wallet that you've meant and you will find out that there's a ton of thread there created towards them.

I advise you to transfer your fund quickly.

...like Electrum.

I doubt their users are after BTC deposits when they download that wallet. Most of them probably store altcoins in there. They are better of using wallets like Coinomi than using a crap app like freewallet and even Elon Musk had a horrible experience with it. Coinomi may not be open source but it's still non-custodial and supports a wide range of coins.

I have been horribly experienced too when I was a newbie, I'm searching for a free Bitcoin wallet that leads me to that crap wallet which is it turns out my altcoin that deposited has been lost.

Speaking of Coinomi, no, I won't advise them, this app wallet is a closed source wallet and it has a terrible fee especially when you want to swap into other coins.  However, comparing both Freewallet and Coinomi wallet, yes Coinomi is the best if there's no other option.

Better to stay away with this Freewallet.

FreeWallet being a custodial wallet aside, FreeWallet has so much red flags that it might as well be owned by China.

This is the exact same wallet where even Elon Musk himself publicly stated that he had problems with. Use. a. non. custodial. wallet.

I think everyone should know the reputation of the wallet before they decide on using it. Having a good website interface and exposure to different companies doesn't mean that they are useful and serving the actual use-case of a wallet. I mean reading the terms and services as well as searching if there is major scam issue on a wallet isn't a difficult thing to do.

An example is this.

Is it just deposit balance reflection that is the problem? If it is, then I guess it is not really a major bug issue. For as long as transactions are not hampered, deposits and withdrawals in particular, and are successful if checked in the network even if the balance in the wallets doesn't immediately update, it's nothing to worry much. The problem is if withdrawals are disabled or result in an error pending the reflection of the balance. Either way, it's best to withdraw all your funds from this wallet as soon as it is allowed. And use an open-source, non-custodial wallet instead.

Swap fee is based on third party integrations, for sending coins/tokens, the fee is customizable.

Coinomi may not be open source but it's still non-custodial and supports a wide range of coins.
For altcoins, Mycelium can still of help to certain level as it also support ERC20 tokens, it is open source. Open hardware wallet like Trezor will be best for altcoins, it is open source and supooort many coins and tokens.

I have been horribly experienced too when I was a newbie, I'm searching for a free Bitcoin wallet that leads me to that crap wallet which is it turns out my altcoin that deposited has been lost.
Google search is always misleading, I searched for noncustododial bitcoin wallet many months ago, it brought me many close source wallets, custodial wallets and many custododial exchanges, I was even unable to see Electrum among.

When I was a newbie, someone suggested to me to use a blockchain wallet where bitcoin can be stored. I choose Coinbase to be the first to store Bitcoin. But despite KYC to Coinbase, they at one point locked my Bitcoin and restricted my coinbase account. Since then I have been using www.blockchain.com wallet without KYC. which has not caused me any problems till now
Well it's wrong move if you hold your coins in centralized exchanges, it's exchanges not wallet. blockchain.com primary was a centralized exchanges but now they're offer non-custodial wallet, but the sites is buggy and not really open source... so it's not safe 100%.

Also take a note sometimes blockchain.com charge ridiculous fee even you use low speed, you'd better to use other exchanges who have custom able fees.

Freewallet is one of the crypto wallets any user should stay away from with the high fees in sending Bitcoin and ethereum and so many other problems associated with the app and coupled with the fact that it is a none custodial wallet which is a highly risky and shady way of storing your coins, let hope the problem gets resolved in time so you can move your funds out of free wallet I will not advise you to continues using the wallet.

No one can help you except the support team because they own your money and they may ask you for some documents.
Wait for several days and you may not be able to withdraw your money until after a while or you may fail to back it.

There are many people who have successfully withdrawn your money, so you have a chance, but do not deposit again.

I think Blockchain.com started out primarily as a blockchain explorer and online wallet. The exchange functionality came later. On top of that, I believe Blockchain.com has never been a custodial wallet since the user has always had control over private keys. Don't get me wrong, this isn't an endorsement, as I would always recommend an open source software wallet rather than an online web wallet for several reasons. The most important is the risk of phishing attacks.
