Hello BTC

Can anyone walk me through the solo mining process? I can't seem to get it to work. I was using the stratum from CKPOOL but the pool kept showing up as dead. Is there another way to do it?
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

What miner do you currently have?
Mining with Bitcoin only supports ASIC machines without them you won't be able to mine on any pool.

Try to mine on other pools like viabtc.com you just need to switch the payment method to SOLO if you want to mine solo.

I have Antminers. I just couldn't figure out how to do it? Or maybe CKPool is down at the moment. I'm familiar with a few mining pools but none of them give me the option to change it to solo. I heard somebody said Nicehash has that option, but I don't see it.

Simply solo mine at kano.is only 0.5% fee
(ckpool is 4 times higher fee and has lost 5 blocks due to negligence over the years)

Solo mining by yourself to your own bitcoin/wallet is a bad idea due to the much higher risk of losing that one block you might find.

Pool: https://kano.is - low 0.5% fee PPLNS 3 Days - Most reliable Solo with ONLY 0.5% fee   Bitcointalk thread: Forum

What is the config for kano?

The config is already their first page just point it directly to kano.is and put your worker and pass but make sure to switch your account to solo mining.

And follow this guide below how to switch your account to solo mining.

If you don't want to create an account you can try this one https://solo.ckpool.org/ you just configure your miner and put your BTC address under worker and x is as your pass.
