this" thread, and one of the admins inserted a few posts on his/her behalf...

This is kinda weird... shouldn't a mod leave an editorial note in its own name even if it added an extra post?
Some time ago I asked the mod to remove all messages from
this thread and instead of deleting them, he pulled them out of the thread and transferred them to the archive
(creating another thread). This way my thread ID was left untouched and I was able to add as many fallback posts as I wanted.
Although in this case I'm not sure that such a request will be considered as we are talking about a commercial thread.
