Of course it can. Any predicted technical analysis is already broken and it's safe to say that 4 year cycles might be not so effective anymore. In fact i hope ETH2.0 or something flips bitcoin and we can move on from under the BTC pov domination to POS and other solutions. Dusk Network will most likely surprise everyone. We've experienced worse, and it's only just a few months since the market showed its bear fangs. Up to now we don't even know whether the market will take a beating or not, as key support levels are still not breached and the market appears to be on a sideways move since the last week of December. Altcoin season is still very possible, although which coins would generate the most hype, that I do not have the slightest hint on. NEAR Protocol is y biggest bet for 2022. Even at $10B marketcap, it's still very much undervalued considering it has everything you'd expect in an L1 and a lot more - thanks to Aurora which is NEAR's L2 network and solution to Ethereum's long plagued transaction fees (insanely high) and plenty of bottlenecks.

The combination of NEAR (L1) and it's L2 network, there should be no bound since this is primarily what we need to get mass adoption. The only problem is the market would appreciate until they see NEAR at $100B marketcap and start to fomo.

That's your assumption, and OP assumption is a bit different. We cannot blame OP if he still believes about the altcoins season this year. As long as he has a reason, there is nothing wrong with a good prediction about altcoins season. We don't know which one is true, crypto market can surprise us at any time. But don't follow him if you think it is not logical. You can trust your own analysis, don't easily follow others' predictions. BTC still at $40K+ and you'll most likely see some bounces but the market seems exhausted now. It's probably the same for most altcoins. DeFi hype is pretty much over but there are still some that's pumping like NFT P2E games. I think we are near the consolidation period so goodluck to your portfolio hehe.

It's almost oversold right now and when you're seeing altcoins and so many tokens and coins getting oversold. Im expecting the price of bitcoin will be going around 39k and this will be creating another dump for bitcoin. The reversal will always possible as long as bitcoin will not get another fake pump like last night and so many people are feeling worried if they are getting trapped by bulltrap.

Very true, the market can be very unpredictable, I would not be surprised as well if for some reason the market turns and give us some taste of the bullish seasons but altcoins that would profit from this mostly are the high market capitalization coins because they are having the most focus at the moment. The mid cap coin would surfer losses just as we are recording with every Bitcoin price decline, they lose value more.

The chances between we experiencing a bullish altcoin season then a bearish one is low. All indication are pointing towards a huge corrections in the market but we are all free to think what best works for us but do not be blinded by our choices.

It is possible in anytime it might happen, but I am seeing a downtrend on most crypto projects. I am interested somehow on NFT arts, they are on hype now, more and more artist are popping up showing their works and thinking something unique to promote their arts. I just recently saw an artist that offers  her paintings to convert to NFT and burn the original ones, magnificent isn't it? More and more ideas are coming through altcoins and I am font of seeing them, positively. I have seen investors made money out of NFT so maybe it is worth a try.

Bitcoin reached the lower price at $39,000 while the altcoin followed to go down but some altcoin can still increase or be stable at a price.

Last night I have sleep and see bitcoin reach $43,00 but the early morning when wake up I was shock check bitcoin dump drastically almost $38,000. Billion USD will liquidation today and better keep away from opening exchange market for awhile and waiting next week for bitcoin and altcoin can reach to higher price.

Altcoin proce may still go down since the price of BTC dump. It’s quite hard to determine whether it will start to recover or will just keep dumping. But when it comes in bitcoin buyung at dip is a chance but not in altcoins. I will probably wait till the price seems to recover before I’ll go back in buying. I think I am going to agree with this. They always say that whatever bitcoin does, other coins will follow and here we are a bloody market. It may be hard to know if btc will continue to go down but it surely recover soon. Let's make it a habit of buying altcoins as well if we are buying btc at the dip so that we can double our gains.

If you wait for sometime, I am afraid that you can only earn less but it still up to you, that is your money. I think alt season was over a few month ago. Before there is further confirmation about the price movement, we can't confirm it yet.
But if you see the price movement is different from other people and you believe that alt season will be start soon.
Then you have to do what you believe in

What I know is that if the market is in a downtrend, there will be an indication that the market is oversold not overbought
