It is possible for the altcoin seasons. But, we don't know when this altcoin season will actually happen or be ongoing. So far, we are only predicting and predicting, but one of them is realized. And the market is still in the bearish season.

It does not indicate anything other than what you read. BTC "dominance" is a wrong term to use anyway even though some aggregators keep on using it.

Like some foretold prophecy? Sadly, I have heard the same rhetoric before and it does not end well. Because bitcoin price is lower than the month's average it does not indicate that altcoins are going to be good for the rest of this month. They will bleed out and then wait till bitcoin rises again.

That surprise you are waiting for, people have been waiting for the same since several years now. The term alt-season itself is of wrong use, a neologism that carries no value. If you want to buy altcoins, buy it. But whether you will see them grow huge in price, the answer is usually a very guarded one.

Your indicator may be wrong with this thing. If you meant your indicator will be telling you if the market was overbought when the price of bitcoin was around 60k - 70k and I would believe with it but this time is a bit different. Bitcoin has been dumped almost 45% from its ATH. that means calling the current market is still overbought is strange thing. It's not possible to start the altcoin season again right now at least not until this quarter will be end. Bitcoin will be sideway after it has reached the bottom. The same candle with what happened during 2020. You can try to compare both the chart of 2020 with the current candle and I suggest you to use bitcoin all time chart. Investing in the legit coins will not help you a lot. people will liquidate their assets for bitcoin and stable coin.

Any coins (not the lowcap shit meme coins of course) that show a sign of decoupling from BTC downtrend potentially have a bright future.
It shows that funds coming into them aren't just BTC speculation.

Its hard to speculate on low cap tokens or coins since we don't know if there are people who will support them over the years and its a huge gamble to select them so I guess its better to stick on top coins since this could do better than any other coins which is not placed at the top. This is my personal opinion only and I might be wrong for that but the chances are much bigger to top big coins than unknown one.

It's over guys go home, alt season isn't coming as bears are slowly getting stronger already, the best time to sell your coins is 4th quarter of 2021 but many failed to believe, many are waiting for 100k per BTC some said we are still in bull market but honestly bear is really upon us.

No need to go home too mate, and no need to feel guilty for an optimistic decision. If you can still survive and find every good job I don't think it's a problem even though there are some people who sell late and still hold their assets very well

Altcoins season are definitely possible seeing that the past cycle always show downtrend first before massive rally again.
Although I think that if there is any altcoins that could bring back the altcoin seasons again it's definitely the metaverse that are currently being largely invested by the large corporations
btc was reaching this high mainly because the large coprorations that are invested in btc meanwhile now metaverse has stolen their attention and now metaverse could become really huge that their market valuation could easily surpass the current higher ranked altcoins.
these metaverse projects are currently waiting for the right moment . I can't deny the fact that everything totally oversold right now

Bitcoin reached the lower price at $39,000 while the altcoin followed to go down but some altcoin can still increase or be stable at a price.
It is interesting to see from the top 200 coin list only ATOM, LEO, JUNO, PERP, and CRTS can still have a green candle at this time.
The other coin was down and many of them dropped too deep as they could not survive in this bloody market.
Hopefully, it will just be a big correction on the market so in the next weeks, we will see another change from the market.

Altcoin proce may still go down since the price of BTC dump. It’s quite hard to determine whether it will start to recover or will just keep dumping. But when it comes in bitcoin buyung at dip is a chance but not in altcoins. I will probably wait till the price seems to recover before I’ll go back in buying. This time is time to just study the market  and watch whether we can entry at that price.

Bitcoin is down deeper now and reached $36,3xx which many people are not expecting to see that price.
I am sure bitcoin and altcoin will start to recover after this dump so we need to be patient for a while and I think we can leave the market this time and set the alarm to know when we can come back to the market.
Buying at a dip is always recommended, but we do not know how low the price will go and only predict it.
Maybe I will not watch the market closely and will come back to the market on Monday and hopefully, in the next weeks, we will have a change in the market.

I am very skeptical of the idea that an altseason is on the horizon with looming interest rate increases and investors avoiding risky assets. While I could be wrong, this looks like the start of a crypto winter - the cycles are similar, just more contracted given the growth of the industry and the law of diminishing returns.

However, if it's a bear market, there will be great buying opportunities among the stronger alts!

As of now the altcoins in the market are showing red it seems this market is starting to go bear. I don't think if we see an altcoin season in the near future but let's just hope that this bear run is just temporary maybe for a month or 2 I guess. It's really good time to buy some altcoins now but I'll just wait for more.

I think that altseason is very much possible with the way Bitcoin has continued to sink down the chart and also looking at the speculations of people that halving will affect bitcoin massively, I would want to think that this is possible. Looking at last year, I think these three coins can actually pull a surprise; FTM, SOLANA and LINK.

Honestly, anyone who still look into investing in altcoins, must need to look into the currently available bitcoin dips as bitcoin is highly expected to bounce back from the current dips; hence buying bitcoin right now may help you to gather quick profits along with altcoin when its season arrives.

It's very possible. The reversal is fully possible. As far as i know that when bitcoin was so bearish and market indicator was showing extreme fear and that's a disaster for anyone in crypto.

If these altcoins are strong enough and then this may decouple bitcoin but the fact that if these coins are also getting dumped so hard. These altcoins didn't even show the growth during the dump that happened with bitcoin and whole of market.

But all points to bitcoin being bearish not just for this month, but for the year 2022. So it's going to be a difficult year for the altcoin market as well and it's hard for the majority of them to really go up high this year.

Unless they are going to break the correlation from bitcoin, which I doubt will happen. Maybe some of them with good use case can stay in the market and will maintain their price. But I have a feeling that even Defi, or NFT are going to suffer in this bear market.
