I'm on the two games but very often I bet in Dota 2 because that was I most played together with my friends. I don't bet with the other people because I'm not familiar with them and most of them I just bet only when I was playing. Well, it's pretty obvious not all the time we win, losses can be possible as not all the time we got lucky or your opponents might be more good as you.

Well, in my country the most common esports game are these DOTA2 and CS:GO. Or those about shooter games like Call of Duty and usually place bets when they had tournaments depending on my budget if I have. However, do you know that country of China has many players of DOTA2? and the country of Denmark for CSGO? https://www.esports-betting.pro/esports-countries/

I also like Dota 2 for betting on esports because it seems easier to me. Also during the game you have to be patient during the game and if there is any damage then don't lose your coolness. Multiple games require specific rules to follow and this can be a challenge for you, especially when you have little time and resources. The good thing about sports betting is that players are more likely to win if they are lucky enough to have any equipment or financial commitment before you bet.

I like to bet on CSGO.
I am a fan of the game and also I just think that the game moves a bit faster compared to the other alternatives. Plus you are able to get upsets pretty often with this so you can really get some good wins if you know what you're doing.
Not really into anything other than FPS unfortunately. They just seem terribly boring for me to watch honestly.

I don't do e-sports betting anymore but when I was, I was betting on dota2 games. I don't really play or understand any other e-sports games. (LoL, CSGO, whatever...) It probably wouldn't have made a difference if I was betting on CSGO games though. Because the outcome of the dota2 games was nearly impossible to predict. Underdog teams has beaten the favorites many times which made me to believe that it is pointless to make a research on those games.

DOTA2, CS:GO and FiFa sports are my favorite ones. While enjoying game itself, users can place bets which team can take advantage and use it to win event at the final round. Not all crypto sports bookies offer Epsorts betting but Stake got my attention with various promos in this field.

Recently, I was asked by one of my clients to check out which esports betting bitcointalk users are most interested. I wasn't really aware of esports betting much. Because I really don't gamble a lot. Can you please share which esports you used to place bets on? It would be a great helping hand to find out the right one. Client was interested in offering bonus for bitcointalk users.
Refer to other gambling sites that cover ESports. From there, cover those games they are listing. Even the community prefers to only bet on 1 to 2 games, there should also be another open betting for other ESports games especially the game events. Not all users will come from Bitcointalk if you will advertise the platform outside the forum. In that way, the platform that your client wants to open might be considered by others to always be used regularly since there are lots of betting options to choose from.

Yeah I missed DOTA1 and also Crossfire , and Diablo 123 , hope there will be available on such in the future.
I guess for some reasons about Dota 1. There are some groups that are still playing and betting on it but on a sports book. But they're betting on their own and probably a local platform on their own. You just have to find those groups that does it. About the other games, you can still play those as they're available to download for their clients on the internet if you want to play but without betting.

Just like the majority I used to bet on Dota2 even during the time when it has not been listed into the bookies yet and we were betting with in-game items. CS:GO on the other hand is one of the leading eSports alongside Dota2 that has a lot of fans and bettors. So, I guess it's safe to have these two If your client is planning to add eSports betting on his platform, and a bonus would be a great way to start it lol.

So far, the most answers are, CSGO and DOTA 2. If that's what your client is referring to here in the forum, does it means we can only see 2 options on your client's service? I'm more betting on LOL but it's been a while since my last bet there since I'm more active currently in online cockfighting and NBA. Maybe try to extend your options. Since you are not familiar with E-Sports, why not add those games that were mentioned by others here but not listed on the poll.

Before, I mostly bet on esports that I am familiar with and which I play them also regularly. Thus, I usually place bets on CSGO and DOTA 2 since those two games are the ones that I am most comfortable with. With the knowledge that I have gained from playing those games (thousands of hours in Steam), I can say that I have some knowledge and feel to the game that would let me decide on which team would be in favor against another one. This is also the reason on why I prefer esports betting compared to any other betting due to the knowledge that I have on these games. As someone also who invested countless of hours in the esports atmosphere, it would be relatively easier for me to choose which teams that I would bet on.

Yes, I'm now curious about the bonus too. And OP mentioned that it's a bonus exclusively on Bitcointalk. Does it mean the platform was already live or being promoted in other communities @OP?

I somehow disagree with your statement that dota 2 games are nearly impossible to predict. What you just mentioned probably answered your query- since you do not understand the basics/fundamentals of the game, it is natural but to conclude that betting on these types of games are impossible. But coming from the perspective of someone who invested thousands of hours in these games (both dota 2 and csgo), I could at least tell that there are a few factors that helped me in reaching a decision on which team to bet. You must first understand the dynamics of the team (e.g. playstyle, hero pools, history, matchups, etc.). One you have conducted your research, it is time to bet on the team that you've invested time on reading about. While it may be time consuming, the process is at least rewarding as it discounts the possibility of betting blindly. At least, you have pure information about the statistics on the team and their winning percentages that may help reduce the risk of losing in gambling.

Even if you do research, you may not necessarily be profitable long term. Remember that your returns as a esports bettor will come from not only your win %, but also at what odds you got these wins. Generally the market is quite efficient and prices in any info that you have gotten your hands on way before you know it. But sometimes there are discrepancies. I agree with mindrust in that Dota2 and in fact pretty much all esports have way more variance in outcomes compared to traditional sports.

Why would only choose one if you could have both? since there would be specific markets for these games considering on how popular it is, the more you do list out then more chances of getting revenue considering there is really a market for that one. If we do tend to see another or current bookies specially had some esports listing then you could see that it do lists out almost everything which gamblers/bettors could really have lots of options to take. Im also a fan on betting on Dota2 which i had been already doing for years.

Let's give OP time to familiarize or research some stuff about ESports. OP clearly stated that he is not familiar with this that's why a poll was created. After a bit of research, I'm sure they won't end up on just a few options which I also mentioned here. Hope he will read all responses here. When it comes to ESports betting, everything should be listed for more options, not just DOTA II or CSGO.

To give him more idea which esports are popular these days and which are likely in the bookies, this site will help him out. https://liquipedia.net/A variety of esports are listed there and it includes the tournaments and other data that he needs. It also has the database of players for all of those esports, note, almost all of the players there are or have been in the pro scene of that esports.

I don't see yet a betting platform where only few sports or events are covered. Most crypto-sportbooks almost covering all available events regardless of what games is it. OP should rely the information on his client. Few options might not attract other bettors on his client's platform.

It all depends on your personal preference. What I recommend is that you watch a game that you are familiar with so that you can be entertained while waiting to see the outcome and also know which team has a good chance of winning because that is the only way you can win a game. As for myself, I only bet on PUBG because it is the only game that I have ever played. I know how to play CS Go and Dota 2, but I don't find betting on those games to be particularly entertaining. Although it is extremely difficult to predict who will win in PUBG because there are 20 teams and any of them could win, the game was incredibly entertaining to play.

I've placed bets on both CS:GO and DOTA 2 but I normally bet heavily on DOTA 2. I am not that strong of a fan of CS:GO tournaments. So I voted for DOTA 2 on the poll. I am a strong fan of The International also. That's of course the largest Esport event in the world. It is also the highest in terms of prize pool.
But why limit the options to just a few? There are other Esports that are also popular like Fortnite, PUBG, Valorant, etc.
