Shorting is the route to go.  This isn't the bottom we just got into this bear market.  Alts get wrecked in bear markets so will wait for signs that things have settled down for a month or 2 and then pile back in.  Paper fortunes are about to be lost "diamond handing".

BTC to be more safe since I already hold some good altcoins and what I needed to do right now is to accumulate more Bitcoin as much as possible because the whole market depends on BTC and once the bear is done I’m confident that the price of BTC will go back above $40k so that’s a win win situation for me, I just need to have more patience

I also do the same just to be safe. For now, I am holding my btc and I also need more patience not to sell my btc since I may sell my btc if the money is really needed especially right this time. As I said in some of my post that we are hit by typhoon rai (called odette in my country). So far I haven't sold some and waiting to have money to buy more btc. Even though btc have decreased but I believe it will increase to $40k or above. I am still thinking and researching on what altcoins I will buy.

I read a lot of similar topics here and outside the forum where people talking about to buy during the Bear market. I noted that almost none has thought to buy Eth. Personally, i still believe it's the best option to go with for long term investment. Also bitcoin for sure.
Also the point that when all users or at least a large number of them try to take the chance from the Bear, the price should recover in a fast way and that this is not actually happening, i think people lost trust in many products in the crypto market because simply it's not sure that the price will recover each time it drops at the Bear.

The top coins nothing else but I don't hold them since I don't want my money stuck for a moment so I intended my capital to do short trades since this is much profitable than buying then wait for the pump since we don't have clear view on when the bullish season to happen. But id you feel to buy now then hold its still ok knowing bitcoin go deeper more since yesterday.

I'm not buying anything. I will just wait for the Chinese New Year to pass before I start looking into some coins and tokens. You should probably keep your USDT for now since this could be a long consolidation. You will have more chance to buy as there will be more dips in the upcoming months.

Bitcoin just fell to $36k after being stable from the prices of $40k-$42k and this means a lot to everybody. If you think that $36k is already the lower support this time, you can buy that for good. It's always a win to me whenever I buy bitcoin but when it's time to sell, I'm mostly selling at a bit of high price and miss the higher prices that are going on. Aside from that, I'll wait for a few more days and maybe there would even be some bigger dumps that would come to the alts market.

The thing is that I believe so much in Bitcoin so I always suggest it whenever I'm asked by someone who's prolly looking to buy crypto, but if I must add this, if you're going to buy Bitcoin, then be rest assured that you're in for a long term investment, and that you're going to patiently hodl as the BTC network isn't a get rich quick scheme as people think it is. But by the way, if you're looking for fast profits, then you'll have to look for low altcoins, they are also called pump and dump coins, but they are very risky cause as they can give fast profits, so can they give colossal loss. Mind you that whenever this sort of question is asked, people would more often than not suggest coins that they are holding, they do this to prolly pump the coin, so do not just take ones advice completely, do your own research as well.

Adding more some metaverse tokens like GALA, Sand and mana.

I'm also adding more Web 3 tokens like FTM

protocol coin like polygon, and many more.

Bitcoin is dumping again to the 35 as predicted by so many people but I'm not sure that if we have reached another bottom. it seems like that this gonna be a long term dump and none knows when it will start to recover again. The fact that if bitcoin can jump back anytime when the market will be very bullish again. The market is still in the shit show.

So many newbies are feeling panic right now.

^ Dont forget to support BTC and give a large percentage of allocation, BTC price will lead when it is going to up and the altcoin price will slightly follow on BTC price movement so I think giving full support on BTC is the best decision in my opinion.
However, I have a conclusion that the entire market will continue down because of the upcoming Chinese New Year which is we experienced last year the same on this situation and most likely the market will down.

Are you sure about it? It might mislead into something you don't want to.

Why not just add some to your current holdings? Diversification is good but you mentioned you only have a few USDT left. I'd rather add it to your current list instead of choosing another coin.

How much USDT left we are talking about here? If not much, then my advice is that.

Im focusing to the top coins, i do believe once bitcoin will bounce and this coin will be growing up again instantly. Im buying more ethereum, SOL and some top 100 CMC coins. Bitcoin gives anyone more opportunity to prepare their pocket before another bullish trend that will come again soon. The bitcoin chart is not doing a good thing right now and it was having bad performance compared with the stock market. It seems like that yearly cycle for bitcoin is coming right now. Buying anything will be very profitable once bitcoin recovered. The only thing that people should remember that if they must not feel fear and they can become a strong diamond hand.
It seems like that this gonna be a disaster. so many people got liquidated.

Bitcoin should never be on the last of the list, but it should always be on top of other coins. Its good to diversify your investments but always see to it that you are hitting the target, and bitcoin will always be the center of this crypto market. At least, you should have a portion  of it if you think that's still expensive. Otherwise, you will miss another opportunity to buy bitcoin since its price suddenly goes up without any further notice. So be cautious, and at the same time, focus.

I'm not buying to hold at the moment. It would be dangerous since during these times, a lot of alts are also being dumped regardless of whatever recovery they make. The best thing to do right now is to short bitcoin and top alts, and play with them until we enter the bear market fully. Your choices are not really bad to be fair, but then again, all alts during these times are susceptible to being played and dumped immediately afterward.

Personally I'd keep my money first, or play with high volume alts and short the hell out of them.

Keep your options, at least, on the top coins instead of risking on other tokens.

Since you already have ETH and BNB, just try to accumulate the same coin especially with the latter.

If you are a risky type of person, then see the daily volume and check what's the top-performing altcoins on that day. Then research about that coin before considering putting money.

The one you bought is the best too, but if you want to add a few more Altcoins to your bag, then my advice is to look at Avax and Solana, because in my opinion the two Altcoins are also no less good than some of the Altcoins that you have bought.

BTC and BNB, I'd focus on them for now but if the market gets back too high again, I may consider buying new projects like a metaverse. It is just to be needed more time looking at them, we just need to be sure that we don't fall into scam projects just like it happens to me before. As this situation gets worse, buying more BTC is the best option to risk, I certainly buy more.

It is best to observe the market first, rushing won't help but sometimes this causes losses.

Anyone smart enough during this dip would put most of their money on Bitcoin and then the rest in some altcoins that has good potential in the future. ETH is a good coin to invest. Not sure about BNB, but never heard of Aurora. Looked it up a little and looks like it's just a shitcoin. Why would you want to invest in that coin? The coin has only around  300k 24 hour volume. Don't invest in any shitcoin during a dip. That would be the worst mistake you could make. Invest in those top coins. Try having a look at ADA.
