Good moment to buy btc or eth?

I prefer to buy bitcoin than ethereum in this dip because bitcoin is promising to increase later and bitcoin is the main investment.
If I have many funds available, I will buy both bitcoin and ethereum but if it is not, I will buy bitcoin.
That will depend on how much funds you have to determine which coin you should buy but it is okay if you buy both bitcoin and ethereum even if you have limited funds.
I hope you do not confuse to decide but before you buy bitcoin or ethereum, make sure you analyze both so there will be no regret in the future.

I think most old school investors here prefer to have Bitcoin in their wallet and hold on it as compare to Ethereum. Nothing against Vitalik and his invention, but Bitcoin is the prime mover in crypto no matter what they say.

So for me, I will stay with BTC, and since we are in a bear market now, it's better to buy and fatten your wallet and do the old but very effecting HODL strategy.

If you want to buy bitcoin but don't know when to buy, I would suggest you to be updated with all the latest news of bitcoins. You must be informed with every rise and fall of price.
As for me, It is better to buy bitcoin win the price is low and hold it and sell it when the price is high.But before buying any cryptocurrencies,you should take a look at your wallet as well. You have to know how much your budget is.Never put more in crypto because as we all know crypto is a little bit risky.

Centralized shitcoins like ethereum with unlimited supply, mutable blockchain and no real world usages are never good investments specially if you are looking for long term potential. The only hope for them is pump and dumps.
So your only option is bitcoin.

I will advice you to buy bitcoin, the bear market may continue, but in the next 4 years, bitcoin should reach $70000 again. If you invest at $35000, you will gain.

But why are you buying now? For long time purpose or just for short time? If it is short time, ignore my advice.

If we have enough money to buy bitcoin now, I don't think we need to invest all of them at the same time. We should leave some to buy in case of further declines. Don't wait for the price to get too deep, because the price could reverse direction in the near future. When the price reverses at least we make a profit even though it is not maximum from the amount of our money.

This is a very good advice, I too like to advice people on this way, to have some of their money not invested but invest part of it  so if the price continue to drop, the person can invest more and more. It will be a very great and massive profit when the price increase.

but for now, the market is not in a good state. entering without good market analysis considerations could trap us for a deeper correction.
Don't be in a hurry to get into the market. we must understand before putting in our money. either BTC or ETH I guess nothing to argue about. I'm sure they both have their specialty. many suggestions will go to BTC, we can even sell our altcoins for BTC at a time like now.

best to wait for at least a week or 2 becuase this dump is just starting and will surely run for long and waiting is the best way to buy in the lowest value.

Exactly, and more especially, what's your time frame for this investment. The problem is we still haven't fully grasped the understanding of crypto investment that, only if you are a "well trained" trader that can handle the daily swings, doing DCA for a long time is a better way to invest in Bitcoin because like you said, the probability of you buying the bottom is rear so DCA over a long time will give you a better chance of profits.

It really depends on your instinct if you can handle such losses that you can’t control. Both BTC and ETH are subjected to susbstantial risks and price cannot be predicted without warning. I was planning to do DCA every month for BTC, which means no matter what the price is, I should be buying and I’m aware of the risks. I can say both BTC and ETH are great long-term coins to buy and hold if you are a long term thinker.

I will choose to buy bitcoin instead of ethereum, although I know that ethereum can increase higher. But if we compare it with bitcoin, ethereum can not beat it. Buying bitcoin is more than enough to hold so we do not have to feel difficult to monitor the price but many people will buy both bitcoin and ethereum because those coins can give them a big return in the next bull run. I agree that both BTC and ETH are worth buying, because they both perform great. I prefer to invest in both,  because it's too focused on one coin
in my opinion the profit generated will not be maximized. But because until now Bitcoin is indeed the best in the crypto world, the percentage of
capital used to buy BTC should be bigger. I also always keep some of the capital I have in stable coins, to prepare for the worst case scenario
if the market goes back lower, I can still buy more. Even though BTC and ETH are potential coins, doesn't mean it's easy to make a profit.
It takes knowledge and careful planning, in order to succeed in getting a profit from either BTC or ETH.

The decision of when to buy rests on the person who is making the purchase as it would depend on a matter of factors; Someone who is buying in for the long term hodl does not bother about short term price changes and believes that in 10+ years the value is going is to much higher.
Someone who is not buying for the long term are usually more picky about when to buy and would not want to purchase when the price is on the way down. This is much more risky and would require some technical analysis and some luck as well.

If you're thinking long-term, I think it's indeed a good time. The price is unbelievably low right now, and I have no doubt that it will recover and surpass the former ATH eventually. So it's a great chance to buy, as long as you're not going to be worried if the price gets even lower. If you can buy and just wait for at least a year, it's a good opportunity. Also, the more people buy the dip now, the faster the market will recover. So it's also  away of helping Bitcoin out of its current trouble. Just remember the most important rule: only invest what you can afford to lose. Whatever decision you make, good luck.
