Unless you cant do transactions for that kind of fee on eth then shift to another chain. There are plenty of ways on how to lessen the burden. Im not doing any trading on eth aside from those necessary transactions of mine due to this high fees. If you feel like it so much you can look on alternatives of bsc, fantom, matic or avax. They have fees that considerable compared to eth. If you are trader Ive start transferring in these eco but if your fine with eth fee then continue.

For simple reasons because it's network is too congested from different kind of transactions e.g. spam tokens, ico tokens, smart contracts, nft, and too many more to mention.

It's always frustrating but you need to move on and use other alternative networks if available.

As per my experienced, even if the network of ETH is not congested, the fees is still high. And with the new NFT hype in the last couple of months, it contributed to the network now always congested that's why the fees are exorbitant for us traders.

So yeah, it's a bit frustrating and the only thing we can do is to used other networks and swap to others like BSC which is much more cheaper.

High gas fees on the ETH network will be an issue you will face for a long. Try an alternative network like BSC. If you are transferring literally the ETH, you don't have a choice but to face those high fees. To somehow ease the cost, only do transfers when it's necessary.

For token transfers, better consider moving them also when necessary.

It's been so long that the gas fee for Ethereum is totally outrageous. If you're transacting just like $10-$20, I don't think that it's worth to pay the gas fee.

But if you're dealing with $100, I guess that you can handle the expensiveness of the fee. And to answer that question of yours, it's on Ethereum's website.

WHY CAN GAS FEES GET SO HIGH?

High gas fees are due to the popularity of Ethereum. Performing any operation on Ethereum requires consuming gas, and gas space is limited per block. Fees include calculations, storing or manipulating data, or transferring tokens, consuming different amounts of "gas" units. As dapp functionality grows more complex, the number of operations a smart contract performs also grows, meaning each transaction takes up more space of a limited size block. If there's too much demand, users must offer a higher tip amount to try and outbid other users' transactions. A higher tip can make it more likely that your transaction will get into the next block.

Gas price alone does not actually determine how much we have to pay for a particular transaction. To calculate the transaction fee, we have to multiply the gas used by the transaction fee, which is measured in gwei.

It has been a year now or maybe more that Ethereum gas fee has bee pretty much higher. The main reason for it is network congestion.

Congestion  means: There are too many transaction happening on Ethereum network which the network is unable to handle. At the moment Ethereum ecosystem is bigger than the blockchain itself. The higher gas fee is beneficial for Blockchains like BSC, matic and solana and this is one of the main reason why they are getting popular.

ah it turns out that until now there are still complaints about the high ethereum gas fee ,it has been a long time not transacting with ethereum because of that problem too ! I would just suggest forgetting it for a while and using another network because I have tried before by reducing gas and it will only eliminate your precious time

IMHO, Like you, I was also annoyed with these expensive gas fees on the Ethereum network, and in my perspective, it was a form of Greediness because I believe that those Ethereum developers must do something about it, instead, they are condoning it and even proudly saying that Ethereum now a deflationary token by burning it from the portion of the collected gas fees, correct me if Im wrong but I believe Ethereum today is not the same Ethereum that I was using before.

If you feel bad, why did you want to pay for it in the first place ? if you really don't want to pay for it or are not willing to pay for the amount of fees you have to pay, then just ignore every transaction on the Ethereum network because there are big costs and can't be tricked properly

Coz you have wasted a lot of money to pay the non sense fees that will make the miners even richer. As a user and you get rekt by wasting a lot of your money that can be used to buy some foods just to pay the greedy miners in ethereum network.
The fees caused by ethereum blockchain is slow as fuck. This blockchain is the slowest blockchain right now. Paying more to be in the priority block. that's what people did.

Yeah, you must feel so bad wasting so many money just to pay the transaction fees. that's bad enough for you. that's why i retire from using this slowest blockchain for this time.

For a long time the cost of expensive gas on the ethereum network is indeed a big problem for many people. But I avoid it now by using other chains that are cheaper and of course very fast to make transactions. Try other alternatives by using other networks, so as not to spend money just like that.

ETH is slow and so many rich traders wants their transactions gets confirmed first, that’s the exact reason and the cause of the high fee.
if you doesnt feel good paying that much fee you should just simply switch using other blockchain like BSC and matic, because most of the famous altcoins projects are also already bridging their tokens in matic because that’s the
only way for them to avoid the really high fee that could potentially waste a lot of money and most of the gaming based projects are in need of fast and intensive blockchain. you should just switch and use the alternatives.

There's no people that feel good after paying a very big fees to the network. They can use it for another purpose. It's not only you but me too. Im also feeling so bad when i need to interact with ethereum blockchain as i know i will be forced to pay so many fees that i didn't wanna pay it but i have no choice coz it's only traded on ethereum network and then i must have paid that.

It's normal and so many people are also feeling the same thing like you. This is not a bad thing. The gas fees is so high caused by so many transactions in queue and the block can't process it. That makes people become so crazy to put the fees as much as they can to deliver their transaction in less than 10 seconds caused by the block will always taking the priority transaction first. that's how ethereum blockchain work and if you're feeling bad and move to the second layer blockchain. this will make you feel better than use ethereum blockchain.

If you feel bad about the high ETH fees why don't you just switch to the BSC network which is cheaper than ETH fees.
Even though ETH is not too expensive anymore, but what can you say if the cost is still very high.

I need to pay around 80 USD for swap on uniswap and 30USD for ERC 20 transactions. It shows how bad this blockchain is. You can ask others who have paid these fees to trade on ethereum protocol and they will be saying the same thing like you. If you're feeling your emotion caused by this and that's a part of human.

Ethereum has now become a chain for whales, if you are just a small person who just doing a little transaction on Etherum, you will just eat by transaction fees especially if you are interacting with a smart contract, with got higher transaction fees to compare to normal transferring Ethereum/ERC20 tokens.

My best solution is find other chain alternative to Ethereum chain, other chains are already proven that cheap transaction fees.

This is the reason why new networks are rising their popularity of usage to address the high gas fees of eth network.
If you want to avoid high fees, and you are dealing with eth network, check the gastracker site first and execute your transaction when they are relatively low.
Otherwise, you have no choice but place your order and incur high fees.
And now that there are new networks like SOL or MATIC, maybe check these new networks if you can use them with your transactions.

It's not about  ETH networks being congested, it's just that they can't solve the problem even there's already an algorithm deployed to somehow minimize and reduced the transaction fees.

Even you will know the exact reason for it, it won't help. We can't expect to see cheap fees soon.

Better try alternatives rather than complain.
