That's I was thinking too. It doesn't make sense to nominate a person who just came by and returned those wrongly sent funds as Discovery of the Year. Were they an example that the forum is alive? Were they actively participating during the last year? Did they make any friends?

None of those.

Perhaps one of the most unexpected but at the same time iconic categories, which shows that the forum is alive.

The award is presented not only to novice bitcoiners, but also to other users who have been actively participating in the life of the forum over the past year ... heck, you can even nominate your best bitcointalk friend!

I, too, was surprised by such praise. Giving someone else's money has become a miracle in our time. Just doing the right thing is an act. There is clearly something wrong with this world. Does that mean that someone who thinks it's a miracle to get the money back wouldn't do the same if they were in that situation?
