It seems that this is kinda late right?
Both of them are way past their primes already, they should have fought when at least they can still pull the trigger. But when Brook fought GGG and lost and broke his orbital bone and then Khan knock the hell out by Canelo, I would say that after that, both are wash up already. Maybe Khan has lost his speed already and we all know that he has a glass chin. So I will go with Kell Brook here, not sure if he can get a knock out, may stoppage late like in 10-11 rounds.
Stil hype though specially for British boxing as this two is domestic rivals and for sure still have fans in UK that bought their tickets.
I agree that it is kind of late on their careers but boxing is also for entertainment so I do not mind as long as we get to see a good fight, however I really believe the KO that Khan suffered against Canelo is the main reason he is not the same he was, in other sports we can see a gradual fade of the skills of the stars we like, but in boxing this can happen with a single punch, and since then Khan has not been the same.

Much better if we have a poll here? Just saying.
That's right, a poll would tell us what's the pulse of the majority, and I think this fight, we have no heavy favorite or the vote could be an opposite of what the bookies are telling. This would be happening in less than a month and the odds are already available in our bookies, so it's nice to know early what everyone thinks about this fight.

I guess Khan won his last game but I still think Kell Brook is the more durable guy as this fight could go to the judges' scorecard or one clean punch to the chin of Khan here will end the fight.

Something like exhibition fight but still both are capable of entertaining their fans, they might be on their prime but as you said boxing is also for entertainment, and if promoters see that there are still people who are willing to pay for PPV and to buy their tickets, it's still a good business and what else, gambling industry is also there to make money from this fight, bookies are everywhere to entertained those gamblers who loves betting with this kind of sport gambling.

Based from the initial odds, Brook is favored here. Both fighters are popular on their own way but I don't know if they can still pull a good audience here. The question also is are they really prepared for this fight? Only few weeks from now. So preparation is sometimes the key factor how they will perform inside the ring. We will see it in the first few rounds if they can last long.

Both of them are pretty much similar if we judge from the skills and experiences, they're mostly loss when fight with top boxer (e.g. Crawford). Amir Khan aren't active around 2+ years, his last fought was on 2019 while Kell Brook last fought was on late 2020. It's reasonable why Kell Brook is favorited here, I see he's have higher chance to win. He probably win via decision only, knocking out Amir Khan seems hard I guess.
Inactive in 2 years makes him very rusty. I doubt the game will last 5 rounds. I use to think Amir Khan will dominate in boxing about 10 years ago when he beat fighters successively by defending his belt. Its just from the beginning and in the middle when he experienced loss, he also fades. Kell Brook is still a contender, he is one of the fighters in the days that competes Crawford and Spence rising up together. If we watch the organization from west to east. I'd go for Brooks.

This will be an incredible fight given that both boxers are professional and really proved that they deserve every title they have in boxing. Both boxers have great history and records which I would say that this is a nice match up. Despite being way past of their prime years in boxing, I know they will manage to give us a thrilling and exciting match that could make our heart beat fast from suspense and excitement of what would happen next. In this game, the crowd's favorite is Amir Khan which is a really good boxer despite the age. He has an amazing boxing record and his moves are famous in boxing which I suppose is the reason why he is winning the hearts of many. But let us not underestimate the capability of his opponent Brook who is also an undeniably good boxer that could really bring the arena to life and spice things up. Surely, he would not let Amir win easily, hence, we would see a boxing that is worth it. I believe this would possibly be one of their last games before retiring in boxing, I hope it would turn out really good and be memorable for them to remember during their off the ring years while enjoying their life.

If there's no blood bath between the two it will become a friendly fight between two fighters that can be considered past their prime, but with two fighters wanting to still prove something and nasty talks going between the two I expect the two fighters wanting to dominate the other, I hope Khan chin will not betray him again, his glass chin causes his downfall, especially on his knock out loss against Canelo.

I don't think we will ever see a friendly fight here, both of them want to win and the winner here could probably get a bigger fight. It's mostly about money and winning means there's still money on the next fight especially fi the win is very impressive, so I expect an entertaining fight.

This fight is pretty much 50:50. Khan can win by decision using his speed and outbox for 12 rounds, but it needs just one punch to KO him cold. Anyway, for me I'll go with Brook since betting on speed and outboxing is riskier. It will only need one mistake to render Khan's speed useless. Also, Khan isn't active for 3 years.
Yeah, Canelo's punch was brutal, but it was six years ago. I don't think the effect is still there. Khan is just can't compete in welter division as he doesn't have the chin to absorb heavy punches.

honestly, I don't trust the speed of Khan, if he was fast, he wouldn't be caught up with some solid punches that lands on his chin. He is too careless IMO and with some glass chin, that would definitely his weakness and Kell Brook will surely exploit that.

Thank you for the suggestion, a poll has been added and you guys can cast your vote so we will know what's the majority think about this fight. I voted already, and I like Kell Brook to win because he is an underdog and I think he can beat Amir Khan.

It's a nice match for the veterans in boxing, they passed their prime but they are still fun to watch. I'm surprised that Khan is the favorite here. I will never bet on him, he has a glass chin and I guess Kell Brooks would take advantage of that and will target Khan's weakness.
I've watched how he lose in his bouts against Garcia and Canelo those are one-punch knockouts, I thought he'll be in a coma after those knockouts he has speed and power but that chin is always betraying him, I don't think I can bet with Khan, Kell Brooks packs power with both hands I'm afraid we will see another knock out the same fashion like when he was knock out by Canelo, I hope Khan is in a good condition and his chin is harder now. Oh so finally we will see this fight happening? Been watching to see this fight for a long time and wondering what will be the outcome prime or not. But at this point, when both of them are going out of boxing, I think I will put my bet on Kell Brook. As you have said, he seems to be the fresher of the two, as compare to Khan who have been betrayed by his weak chin, Brook for sure will shoot for that knock out. Just image what will happen in O2 arena if Brook will win by a single knock out punch that will put Amir Khan to sleep. I'll go for Brook two of the worst knockouts I saw in the boxing ring are of Khan against Canelo and Brook and on Canelo knock there's a huge concern, he is fast and possesses a good combination but against guys who are good in counter punching is always in big trouble Kell brook is a good puncher, He should stay away avoid engages and let his footwork and combination do the thing for him to win, I'm sure Brook will go for the body first so he can target the chin like all the past boxers who beat Khan. Khan has been worst really, specially his knockout by Canelo, even Canelo wanted to help him out when he is down on the canvass. And he even spent more time in the canvass that the entirety of the fight, lol. Yeah, Kell Brook is still a good puncher, maybe the power is not there or perhaps the footwork is slower, but he can definitely win against the glass chin of Khan. Hit the body first and then target his chin later for a knock out.

I'm also surprised that Khan is the favorite here but I'm sure that despite his weakness people were able to notice his aggressiveness on the ring too. Khan has a tough fight with Canelo so I guess it will be another tough match for him again. Kell Brook has been really consistent and he's too experienced so it will be a challenging fight for Khan.

Khan is got the upper hand, there is little doubt about that. Motivation seems stronger and the character of the guy does a lot for the winning, however even boxing may look like a stone-age punch exchange and that is just not true. This is about keeping your strategy and your plan under extreme circumstances. As it has been said, everyone has a plan until they get a jab on the face. I think Khan is just better at it.

And we all know that Khan is way past his prime already and has been knockout because of his glass chin. And there is no amount of strategy or practice that will prepare you if you're chin is as weak as Amir. Because once Kell hit that chin, Khan will have a problem because Brook can still pull the trigger even at his age.

I guess the odds explain how weak his chin is. Making Khan the underdog in this fight makes me think of backing him, I guess I have previously stated that I'll bet on Brooks but 2.35 odds is better than 1.53, and since both of them had past their prime, the underdog could upset the favorite here.

Based from the poll in this thread, which it has only 2 voters , it is 1:1. And I voted for Khan because he may pull an upset here. If he will retire after this, he may want to end his boxing career on a positive note. So if you want to take a risk, the odds for Khan is nice here. Remember, we have been watching a lot of upsets in boxing. So I am hoping Khan can still pull this one off.

Unfortunately this is the way it works, it does not matter how fast and strong a fighter could be, if they do not have the chin to endure heavy punches then their chances of becoming great in the sport drops dramatically, and even if Khan was a good fighter back in the day he was exposed and people realized he could not endure punches really well, and since then his career took a very different direction, and when we add age to this it is not really a surprise to see why Brook is the favorite.
