But I'll remove the mindset about being a millionaire in this market. It could lead someone to become a victim of those ponzi schemes and other scams that they might not be aware of for which they think will lead them to being prosperous.

You can be well in this market if you know how to deal with it and you know what you're doing. We all want to become a millionaire but for a newbie's perspective, there's something more than that and they think that it's achievable within a short period of time which leadeth them to do mistakes.

Generally I don't subscribe to the "buy the dip" theory of investing unless something is in a clear, sustained bull market, but I happen to agree with OP on this one.  I don't see enthusiasm and demand for cryptocurrencies (at least the good ones, of which there are few) being suppressed for the long term, and some coins are at fire sale prices right now.  I'm not so sure bitcoin is exactly dirt cheap in a relative sense, but after seeing what it did last year (hitting its ATH) when I thought it was going to plummet to under $5000, I'd recommend buying it without hesitation.

Oh, but it's the same old story--if only I had enough fiat and a decent way to buy bitcoin with it!  I might be tempted to head over to the Currency Exchange section and see if I can't try to score some with PayPal funds.  Does PP itself actually let you withdraw bitcoin if you buy it through them?

Although it had jumped up from $33K to $37K today, I'd still not see if the market will really push to new ATH knowing that BTC volatility can decline to -80% like it did in 2018. I'd likely buy at $50K instead as long as I'm sure the market is going up than waiting to profit.

We have to remember that the average small investor or trader in other Commodities are not used to extreme price volatility. We, the more experienced Crypto traders and investors have dealt with extreme price volatility before and we are not phased by a 50%+ drop in the price.

$260k can make someone a millionaire depending on the country of residence (in the third world by your example) converting that amount to that countries currency is a lot of money,  now the problem is not just being poor and can not afford to invest as little as $10, it is about the perception of such people that will determine their future.

A poor person with better understanding of this space and the financial opportunity it holds can sacrifice that amount regardless of the situation because they see opportunity and are ready to take the chance, but not all poor people think this way, or care to expand their level of thinking, explore different opportunities out there, hence their status will not change.

I think it's fair though for people to bitch around the missed opportunity when the price of bitcoin is still low and they didn't buy. Somehow I miss those complains.  Everytime this happens to the market of Bitcoin this forum is bombarded by different new threads about their own failure and ranting about their own mistake/regrets. IMO, it's not a mistake but if you have patience then you might still reach profits.
How many people was dragged to purchase by the price surge of 2017 to $19k? A lot because they want to ride the big boat. If they did wait they already tripled their investments last year. That's all they have to do, be patient.

Well, not really should they be at the mercy of the market if they truly know what they're doing. They can average down their loss by buying the dip. It's the DCA method. This is where I advise newbie traders to only invest in assets they know have use case. You are right.I have a good feeling about the upcoming years.Buying now at 35K and selling after a year or two at 70K-100K would be great.Another price crash in February from 35K to 20K would be even better.
However,all the 'buy the dip' and 'sell at ATH' stuff makes me a little bit sad about Bitcoin.
The Bitcoin/crypto market is like a roller coaster with all those dramatic ups and downs.

Time is ticking and what happened to us before will happen and be felt by those new and present like when bitcoin price hit 65k ATH yesterday, as many feel disappointed or missed opportunities when bitcoin price was still cheap.
so the answer is very easy, what they feel is the same as we used to be, so it all depends on each individual to ensure trust in bitcoin by doing his own research because bitcoin is not regulated and there is no notification and also it is not easy to predict the next bitcoin movement because all done independently.

People won't buy I am very sure about this. The common folks always trust what goes around in the social media and news and news currently is that we have entered the sad phase of the crypto market which means you are going to see bearishness all around, only the smart money sees such a time as a buying opportunity all others would feel this is a trap we are going further low and this cycle would endlessly continue for them. But I would advice the people to not touch futures that much right now though if one doesn't have that much knowledge and experience with futures. Unfortunately people are afraid, they are afraid because they were thought to be afraid of the market. You may think why? Like who teaches people to be afraid of the market? That is a bit of their problem, I mean if you spent every single dollar you have to buy when it was high, and did not leave anything aside for when it was low, then it is a bit of your problem as well. I do not have tens of thousands of dollars, but at least I was smart enough to save some aside and I am getting my salary tomorrow as well which means I will be able to put up some more money.

All in all I am in a good position to make money, and it has been a decent return for me as well. This doesn't mean that I am the smartest investor or anything, I am quite bad at it actually, there are so many people better than me. There are lots of ways to make money online and in fairness it is altcoins that are more likely to make people money as Bitcoin is very high priced. Much like buying penny stocks and trying to flip them after they multiply in price by a hundred. It is much easier to move the price (market capitlization) from $1 million in the early stages into hundreds of millions, than it would be to move Bitcoin from being worth $1 trillion to being worth $2 trillion. I would agree, it is certainly a good time to buy in to the market.  I do not believe that there are many coins outside of bitcoin and ethereum that have actual utility, but you certainly can get some great deals on coins that could provide some upside potential (despite having zero actual utility).  But I would encourage everyone to remember that you should still only buy what you can afford to lose.  Cryptocurrency is highly volatile so that needs to be kept in mind always!

60% of my total crypto investment is Bitcoin while 40% is for altcoins. This is actually my plan ever since and really it works. I simply don't just focus on the promising coins, I sometimes look for hyped projects for an easy return of money. Well, I consider Bitcoin as for long-term while altcoins are just for short-term investment. Not literally we got in profit upon investing promising coins, it sometime short-term investment could give us more but of course, the risk is too high and no assurance.

I would say that it is very important even if you are not in crypto. Knowledge means that you could use that to turn it into money, you could start with zero and earn it with your knowledge, and then you could use that knowledge to turn that into a bigger amount and bigger amount. Many people would wonder and ask how they could turn knowledge into profitable business and I would say that if you do not know, then you do not have the knowledge for it, simple as that.

I believe I got it enough and I just stay at home and do something I love everyday and earn money from it, how? I just learned how to do it and then used it to make myself profit, became very good at it (hopefully) and now I am just enjoying life. If your job is something you love to do, something you would do anyways, then you feel like you won the lottery every single day and that is how I feel.

But there are people who do really love to gamble out or simply having that risk taker kind like of mind on which they do really tend to touch up on investing with some altcoins and wont stick out on
established or top altcoins or bitcoin itself in the market.Investing is really something that do really depends on someones preference or goals in mind.

Sometime we do missed but sometime we do carelessly bought something just because we are longing for profits which is normal but missed out opportunities is really common.

You would really complain or do make out some regrets later on when you do see that you had able to miss out something.
